He's been through so much and really represents all that is good about America, IMO.

I remember my mom letting me stay home from school in 1980 - back when the ceremony was shown live during the day - to watch Scott Hamilton carry the flag in the Winter Olympic opening ceremony (we knew him). Almost 30 years ago and I still remember how cool it was!

he really does!!!!:) Can't wait until tomorrow night!!! The town held another fundraiser last night to help send his parents and coach over to watch him compete!!!

I was in college in '80, and watched (I was sooo close, wish I could have been there in person)!!!! Must be awesome to know Hamilton, he seems like such a genuinely nice person..and sooo entertaining!:) He has always been one of my favorites!!

Thanks, Lisa and Tom!

That is the one I was looking for. Here I am spending the last half hour doing different searches, when I should have asked here first.

Cheers to you and you and you ...

Michele

I have been trying to search and find the site that shows where the cruise ships are located right now. On a Westbound repo report, someone had a link that you could see ALL the ships in the Mexican Riveria (as an example). You could then click on the "Disney Magic" and it would state the air temp, water temp, wave height, etc.

Does anyone know where I can find this again?? I know my father-in-law would love to watch us migrate through this site.

Any help is, as always, appreciated.

Michele

Ok - it's now becoming real...

Just notified the credit card companies that I'll be traveling....

OOO I haven't done that yet.. thanks for the reminder..

and I need to transfer the $$$ to my Disney rewards card too..

Since, I'm not doing much today - I was over looking at the trip report forum.

Deborah (scottishwee) was on the MAY Repo and has posted a bunch of daily photoslide shows from their trip. Here's the link in case anyone wants to take a TOAL daydream break :goodvibes

ok, I only have a few minutes before heading out for the afternoon....and I open this thread! WOW
I watched 3 of her video's and boy are they exciting! Can't wait to get home and watch the rest. It took me a minute to figure out that each picture that she posts has a different link to that video of where they were!

Thanks for sharing!! Great find to build even more excitement!

I know what you mean... i keep thinking that it is friday.. but it is only Thursday.. Why is this week so SSSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW.

Only 6 1/2 no wait.. 6 1/4 days of work for me but who is counting... ME!!!!

If these days are slow - just wait for your flight! I don't envy you there. Have a safe one. We're looking forward to meeting you. :)

I feel that way too, I just might join you! (DD10 would just die!) :rolleyes1
Just hope the cruise 'time' will go this slow, somewho I think that will go fast.

Just stopping by to say hello. I have been too busy with everything to keep up on the boards :sad2: I am so ready to leave, the kids are getting excited and they are getting on my nerves since I have so much still to do. I keep taking deep breathes, not working.:confused3 Maybe I should spend more time on the boards to stay calm. Ya, that is the ticket, that is what I am going to do.:woohoo:

So many comments about Tom's current banana infatuation...so little time...so few points....

OK DL experts -

Where is the best counter service food in DL??
Lunch and dinner.

Discuss . . .

Corn Dogs close to the Hub. Fries from the cart behind Big Thunder, skewers from Adventureland, gumbo from New Orleans Sq. - Churros :thumbsup2

Ya know I'm kidding Chris - I'm not really complaining - thanks for all your work

I can bring IV sets & we can infuse the caffeine. Surely, they can't have a no IV rule.
