Don't worry about him if he has never been stoped at the check in counter before -- it always takes at least an hr for the counter people to let us check in..... there is always at least 1 supervisor invovled.

I'm sure the B.O.B. thing will be great! That is what Samantha wanted to do before she realized that there is a Teen Excursion to go on that day!

Have the same name as someone that does ALOT of travel to the Middle East....... DH's name is quite unusual so, I find it hard to believe that someone with his exact name is a rug dealer but...dh googled (he wanted to know why he was on the watch list, also) and there he was! LOL!
We think it is quite odd since DH is an Officer in a Publicly owned corporation.... You have to have clearance to be an officer in a publicly owned corporation.....

My DH has top secret security clearance & he's been singled out for special screening several times. I'm sure they don't have the time or capacity to compare those lists.

Can you imagine? Late 90's DH used to fly from San Diego to Central & South America all the time on commercial airlines with guns, radios, ion scan machines and small amounts of drugs to calibrate the scanners in his checked baggage! His office also came up with creative ways to describe the bribes on their travel claims. They had to pay to get their luggage on the other end.

I'm sure for several years everything we own would have shown positive for drugs (or gunpowder) if it was swabbed and analyzed. OK, maybe still gunpowder. Those machines are very sensitive. Most 20 dollar bills in your wallet would also pop positive.

That, and coffee in Colombia are the only two things my DH has given me money...and permission...to buy. And I think he's only letting me get an emerald because it's our daughter's birth stone and I can pass it down to her.
He claims that I have "enough jewelry" already. There's no such thing, is there??

Nope. No such thing as enough jewelry.
I'm the only daughter and the only granddaughter on both sides. I've got some bling, but I can always use more!

I also don't ever wear costume jewelry - gotta be the real thing!

Hmmm, I don't drink cheap coffee either. Maybe I should just move to Colombia?

I thought it was going to be after the drill. With a group this size maybe it should start at 2pm and continue until the sailaway. There is no way all of us can say hello to each other in a half an hour, right. I know my girls will be in the pool after lunch and DW will be unpacking.

That sounds good to me..I really want to get hand out the lanyards and to be honest..after the drill..I know I have to run to my appt.

Important Information!!​

The sailaway meet and greet was going to be 3 pm above Scoops on Deck 10 but because of the fire drill we need to move up the time to 2 pm. I think we should also have it after the firedrill so we can pay for the lanyards and wristbands!! We would sure hate Desiree and Tina trying to track all of us for our lanyards and wrist bands.

I knew I saw the info somewhere! My treatment is at 4p.m. so hopefully that is enough time to get everyone their lanyards.

I never did either. I even got our luggage after dinner!!

That happened to us on our second cruise...with MY bag. I hated wearing jeans in the dining room. I had a black long sleeved polo type top with brown sandals. UGH!!! This was before jeans were okay. The kids looked great that night though. I had to put in a lost bag report. Now we walk up and down the hall we are in to make sure our bags haven't been left at the wrong room. We found one of them last cruise on our way to the drill. When I pointed it out to DH a CM asked which one and put it in our room for us.

As soon as I (we) got engaged (we already knew we were going on the cruise) I knew I wanted to get something special for my mom...cause she's my mom...and I know she loves emeralds and it would be a perfect time to get one...now hopefully I will find something nice (reasonable) and be able to keep the secret until our rehearsal dinner or wedding (a year later!)

I have a pair of Very Dark Denim bermuda shorts (ok on me they are not really shorts-they go about 1.5-2 inches below my knee).

Can I wear these to dinner with a nice top? They are the dark "Dressy" wash?
I know it doesn't matter but I want to be appropriately dressed!

That is the one thing that we know we want to get on our trip...DD gets one piece of nice jewelry on all of our trips to remember her trip by...Since DD and I backed out of our excursion..we will have ti figure out how to get the emeralds now. (Didn't back out due to the area - we still are hoping to go into town)
