G'evenin' pirate:s

I have my monkeys back. YAY! 2 weeks away was long enough for them to realize that they still like their mom

demon pork aka bacon - esteri had some prepackaged for her camping trip

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We got our booty too! YAY! Thanks Todd, Monica, Chris, and most especially Esteri and her spectacular guard dog!

Thank you everyone for you hard work... Got the T ***** Cami's and bags.. They are totally awesome...........

Now back to working on the FE gifts and scrapbook swap. DH wants to do a test drive on our packing today. Need to go find the second suitcase. .

My dh usually waits until the night before we leave -- and we usually have to leave our house by 2 or 3 am to get to the airport -- to start packing! He doesn't even look over his clothes before then! LOL! I, of course, will already have my siotcase and the kids waiting by the front door......

And below ... guess who we ran into at our swim meet? None other than GoofyforLifes' family - with the older daughter (Madison) swimming in her races. Here's the younger daughter Austin chillin' with Kalea in our community pool where the swim meet was held:!

Loved all thephotos and that was neat that you ran into Cherie and their girls!

Kind of weird seeing your daughters photo from this morning while at work. I told Cherie this morning to keep an eye out for you. Wow, another DIS meet and I missed it. :sad2:

What a small world, huh?

Busy day today, Lauren had her first aerobic gymnastic competition this morning & won gold! I'll post a photo when I've uploaded them. Unfortunately it was a very early start (out the house by 0630) so off for some much needed shut eye

Celestine

Congratulations!!!

Didn't believe all the talk till you called me :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Wait until you meet me! LOL! You may run in the other direction! :lmao:

Does anyone have a link or copy of the Calendar that shows all the days of our trip?
Thanks,
Georgiana

DH tenses up on the rare occasion I call him "Steven"
LOL
If you happen to hear "Jeffrey Allan" -emphasis on the Allan- then you know my DH is in trouble.... and so does he (you'll see him tense up too probably- because it means DW isn't happy about something LOL)

You guys kill me. My husband doesn't do ANY of the packing and last year I even set stuff out for him to help put in his suitcase and he STILL left it (ask Stacey about him having to beg off an undershirt from her husband cause my husband left the pkg of new undershirts on the bed). I can't let him pack... which is really scaring me since this time we aren't leaving TOGETHER. He's coming in later at the end of the week so he can work that week we're at DL. I'll have to pack what I can for him and then leave a list and pray pray pray he goes over the list to make sure he doesn't forget stuff! Pray with me please. LOL

Oh and no one will run from you! You're a delight. :) :)
If they run from you (if that's in reference to talking a lot) then they'll run SCREAMING from me. Consider yourselves warned......... we're talkative- the lot of us (not including DH but even he can get talking sometimes.... especially if it's about harleys or scuba diving LOL)

Which btw reminds me- I gotta get these kids set up with accounts on the pirate zone so they can talk to other kids and get to know them. They took right away to your kids. :)
Robert has been begging me to see Brian again (as if I'm in control of that? LOL) and Rita keeps asking if Claire is coming over again. LOL I keep telling them maybe someday..... and if not, they'll see them on the cruise! hehe
And Ruby has mentioned seeing Samantha again on the cruise. :)
I'm all for them diggin your kids..... maybe their sweet dispositions will rub off some on my um.... not so sweet kids. LOL
(okay so they can be sweet. it's summer.... ask me again when school is going because summers have been hard on me last year and this year. I hope it's just their ages and they grow out of this arguing phase... that I hope is just a phase. Lord please let this just be a phase they grow out of!)

Oh, and I record the Disney Cruise Line show on Travel Channel for my DS who's 6 and after watchingg he said that these should be the names for the new DCL ships, Disney Port and Disney Crayon, lol.

How cute! I watched it the other night, too!

LOL
Some people just don't get it!
My DH included...
I still remember when we were first dating and I had mickey sweatshirts and a (tasteful! not gawdy!) mickey watch and sometimes wore disney scrunchies when I put my hair in ponytails- that he asked me when I was gonna stop wearing that stuff and grow up.... and I was like uh, never! (and I was right! LOL Although I did somehow stop wearing the watch. Where is that watch? hmmm)

Anyway, I'd love for my entire house to be all disney- but I figure I've done good to even get HIM to wear some disney shirts and just give up trying to get me to stop wearing it. The few Disney things we have (besides Rita's completely Disney Princess pink/white room) is the mickey smoothie maker and my eldest made me a wooden mickey head CD holder which is on top of my fridge (Stephanie- did you see it? LOL) but that's it. *sniff sniff* Maybe when I get old I'll be the old lady who's entire house is decorated with Mickey stuff. A girl can dream can't she? hehe

Atleast he takes me on Disney vacations and doesn't say a word about the KIDS rooms being decorated disney.... and hasn't said anything in years about what I wear..... I guess he's a keeper. ;)

I didn't see the mickey head cd holder. Maybe next time. I did see Rita's Pink princess room! LOL!

In the old house our den was filled with Disney.... Here it is going to be upstairs. I finished buying frames today for all of our DCL and a few WDW prints. They are going to be hung upstairs in the hallway.
I do have a 50th anniversay candy/gumball machine sitting on the hearth in the Family Room. ;) But, the rest of my downstairs is Western (not SouthWestern........ Cowboy Western). DH is in the Leather business and it just *fits* us.

did ya have to wack an ATM to get made?

I laughed so hard I snorted when I read this..... :rotfl2:

What a weekend! Had a couple of summer blondes last night and got some booty tonight!

That's beer and t-**** people....

The shirts, etc. look great, but the other bag in my box..... ???

DH & the kdis are wondering what is so funny on here tonight! :lmao:

I know how good it feels to have everyone back under the same roof! :dance3:

In the almost 29yrs we've been married I have never packed for dh....:) And in all those years he has only forgot something once...and it was 2 wks ago when he went to England! LOL! He decided to change suitcases mid way through with packing and he left all of his socks in the 1st suitcase! LOL!

I don't pack for Samantha either -- I think my kids are around 12 or so when they start packing all of their own stuff.

Thanks for the compliments on my kids -- you must have been too distract to see that Claire is a brat! LOL!

My kids would love to get togther with yours. I'll email you. Samantha is still out of town and won't be home for 11 days....... we are counting down the days. ;) But, the other kids and I are here! LOL!

I don't pack for DH either...other than the t-**** we will wear to the parks or the tropical outfits for dinner. I did that once and packed the pants that were too small that he hadn't taken out of his closet. :rolleyes1

the multi-quotes is messed up for me tonight. It won't keep them! :( so I have to click the quote button and respond individually- anyone else noticing this?

It was on top of the fridge and all you can see from the front is the wooden mickey head that's on each end but you can only see one end. You'd have to go to the side of the fridge to see it's got it on both ends with dowels or whatever you'd call those where the CD's could sit there. I just love it cause she made it, and it showed she knew what I'd like! LOL

I think I lean towards cowbow western too. I seem to venture that way when I buy stuff. Although I'm not really an interior decorator type AT ALL. But recently I bought some rustic metal stuff -like some votive candle holders- hard to explain but some are with boots and some are with the lone star/etc. And I have a boot (with flag design on it) vase. hehe If you knew my maiden name you'd know the boots have a 2nd reference other than cowboy western though. (guess, guess LOL)

Dh just doesn't travel much- he's never gone anywhere except when we all go together on vacations AND he's really really REALLY bad at planning ahead for anything...... even with lists he's not good at it. I'm telling you, I have to do everything (except go to work for the paycheck- so I forgive him LOL) around here... or it wouldn't get done. He just has a bad memory or can't plan ahead or something. I don't know what it is. LOL

(what you described about the socks is exactly the type of stuff Jeff would do, to the Nth degree and every single time LOL I mean good grief- even when I set stuff on the bed and say put all this in your suitcase he STILL forgets stuff and leaves it on the bed! He's hopeless when it comes to packing)

the kids HELP pack (like for vacations and camp/etc.) but I still oversee so they don't forget things either. I keep trying to let go of the reigns and it bites me in the but everytime. Like recently Ruby went to church camp for a week and I let her pack. She had the list of things she needed from the church- so I figured she'd do good, right?
WRONG.
She got everything she needed EXCEPT PAJAMAS. So she had to sleep in clothes. But hey I guess it could be worse. What's bad is she never comes home with everything (this time missing some toiletries, some panties, 1 sock to 2 different pairs of socks, and some BRAS. :lmao: geesh...... all because I wasn't there to help her REPACK? sigh...)

I might have been distracted a bit but honestly I think I'm good at ignoring some behavior from the wee-ones. It's a given that's gonna happen. It's when they get older that I become less forgiving of bad behavior from my kids. I'm always thinking good grief, act your age! LOL I thought she was precious as could be... :)

Yeah give me a holler... y'all can come over anytime or maybe we can meet at Hawaiian Falls or something. We can come visit you too but I don't want to be inviting myself over... I try to teach the kids not to do that so I gotta set a good example. LOL

The other day when our internet AND tv was down for the evening and all night- I was going thru documents and emails cleaning out the computer (deleting stuff) and I came across something I'd wrote all about Rita's 7th birthday party... we sure did a lot more crafts and games that year than this past year. It was a long party WITHOUT also doing a swimming party but I can't believe I forgot to do the princess bingo! ran out of time I guess. LOL AND totally forgot to let them play the game on the centerpiece castle. doi... feel stupid now. I guess we were rushed for time at this 8th birthday party.LOL

Oops ....

I edited in that correction (IN RED)... oops....

...and well... it caught me unexpected initially... than it dawned on me that you had mentioned Madisons' having a swim meet this morning....

< wink >

mochi2.jpg

Anyways we sat and chatted a bit - and I shared some Mochi with your family before I had to depart the meet early as Julianna had a Doctors' appointment at 10AM.

OK... gotta go now...

I had the the other house decorated by an Interior Designer (Ethan Allen) just a year before dh decided we needed to move....... It was the first time that I had done that. It is going to take a while before this house is completely decorated........ And most of that furniture doesn't work in this house...... :sad2:
If we ever finish getting everything out of the other house we can sell it and then I can have this house decorated! LOL!

I'm surprised she forgot anything..... The cabin shoud have been empty as soon as the girls packed their stuff. So, you would think everything would be easy to find.
At least that is how it's been when Samantha has gone to camp.

I'm thinking about taking the kids to Hawaiina Falls either this week or next.... Or y'all can come over to our house for the day. Does Rita like to play dolls? That is Claire's favorite thing to play! LOL!
Brian ripsticks & plays video games with friends.

We have done little to nothing all summer. After this past year we have needed the break! LOL! It has still been a difficult summer because Samantha has been gone most of the time. None of us are use to that! I'm just glad that she doesn't want to go away to college! LOL! Otherwise we would be in a world of hurt around here!
