I've been watching various Disneyland forums. So far there has only been 1 report of being asked for ID. It was on one of the first few days that the tickets were valid. Since then, no one has been asked for ID when entering the park...only when purchasing. And one poster has been told by Guest Services that an ID is not required for park entrance, and if asked for one, they should ask to speak to a supervisor.

If, in the unlikely event, you are asked for ID and are not able to provide it, you can upgrade the ticket to one of the other park tickets for the full $99 value of these tickets. A 2 day hopper is $132, so you'd have to pay $33 to get a different ticket. You will not lose your money. You might just have to spend a little more.

These tickets are very similar to the 2Fer offer that was going on last year for southern CA residents. It offered 1 day at DL and 1 day at DCA for $49. This went on most of the year and many, many out of state people used these tickets with no problem.

Monica, can these tickets be used for MM?

What are you doing up so late??? Or is it that you are up so early??

I would say no on MM. In all of the fine print and discussion I've seen on these, nothing has been said about MM. So I guess it's a trade off, lower ticket cost, but you also lose out on the extra hour 1 day.

Thank you ALL for the efforts you have put forth , Ill bet one of the big three at the bottom of that one stack is heading my way , yes ??? LOL
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

pirate:

well, of course, the biggest package belongs to the Captain :thumbsup2

Hi all busy day today. This was one of the few days that Cherie and I were both off together before we leave next month. First I got word that my DF was back in the hospital with rule out pneumonia and DM was not well either. They are both OK, just added to our running. We headed out and ended up at DTD having lunch at ESPN Zone. We walked around the hotels to check out the shops and a trip to Disney Store. Found some cool trinkets that will be prizes for the Treasure hunt. We also had to get a couple of Mouseketeer hats and a couple of other things. Did not get to go into the parks but the funny thing was it was not very crowed in DTD at all :confused3 I asked a few CMs and they said it has been like that this summer. Again, I don't know what it was like in the parks.

Well from DTD we headed off to my parents house which is about 10 miles from the port. We had to kill a few minutes so we swung by the DT to get a copy of the menus. I have posted them on the planning board. I talked to a couple of the waiters and again they told me that it would be no problem for 30-40 people for dinner.

Finally got home a couple of minutes ago and feel like I have been at DL all day. Dogs are barken and didn't even walk that much today.

Real cruise related answers!! ;)

The T-**** are 100% cotton. I see that you need to wash in warm to hot water to make it effective. The black stuff from Dharma shouldn't run as I already got all the excess dye out. But the black T-shirts provided by the printer probably will run. So, do the blacks separately.

If you wash in hot water - either line dry, or dry in a cool dryer. To help preserve the "newness" of the transfer.

I'd think you'd be OK.

.

Keep in mind that black T-Shirts already have higher UV protection than white shirts.

Thanks, I love the price, but I really want to get as much time the parks as possible.

We're heading down to South Carolina at 5:00am. Instead of sleeping I'm doing laundry and packing.

Wow...what a long day! Thanks for checking at the DT again for us. Thoughts and prayers for DF & DM.:flower3:
And OF COURSE it isn't crowded, now that I'm not there!! We must have hit the only 3 crowded days all summer, because I've read that it's been light since then.
Gas prices must have a lot of people not coming.

I have noticed the park and DTD being much less crowded, especially this past week. They are expecting lower crowds for the next few weeks as the OC Fair starts on Friday, and castmembers are blocked out of DL starting this weekend. Should be interesting....to fill my jeep is close to the price of a 1 day ticket...yikes!

Warning...this is a vent. We are going to an out of town swim meet this weekend that begins Friday late afternoon, so we have to leave Friday morning. DH's boss, who has no kids has rescheduled a meeting 3 times and decided that Friday for lunch is the day. There is no way we can wait for him and make the meet in time. He told his boss that he can't be there and she basically said well either you come to the extended lunch meeting or you might not have a job. Then the only other weekend this summer that my DD has a dance performance that she has been working on since January, my DH's boss has decided to have an executive retreat! UGH!! Yes, I am happy he has a job and makes enough that I don't have to work but this lady drives me crazy! It just isn't right. Someone else asked about the next weekend and she said no, she can't make it. I love how it is all about her and what works best for her. I won't even mention all the kids' events he has missed because of work related stuff. :sad2:
The reason I quit my job was because he isn't around that much and someone needs to be here. Not his fault at all, but man is this frustrating. Does anyone out there need a really hard working CFO? This was even after he and I went out for margaritas tonight.:scared1:
Grand Cayman is looking better and better to move to. Life just shouldn't be this complicated.
I know I'm chiming in really late on this but

ATTN GIRLS SCOUTS:
Girl Scout Badge Idea...........Let me know what you think!

In the Junior Girl Scout Manual there is a badge called "On My Way". Junior Scouts need to complete SIX activities, not sure about the Daisy's or the Brownies. I came up with three activitie ideas here.

Things we could do to earn the badge: 1) Find out about a couple of "Travel Careers" - maybe interview the Cruise Director, a dining room server, the excursion manager, galley manager, etc. 2) Each girl could create a travel post card of the port they are most looking forward to or that we have visited and they blind swap them with each other............THEN.........once the girls are home they could write something on their postcard and send it to someone totally different (we would have to assign an address). 3) The girls could brainstorm safety on the ship and how to stay safe - travelling in pairs, etc.

These are just some ideas I came up with........someone might have something to add or something totally different in mind. Give me your thoughts
WOO HOO!! Thanks for finding this! I've been putting off looking for the badge work for way too long. I need to start cracking. That looks great!
My DD Emily (8-turning 9 on cruise) is in Juniors...she would be interested in a chance to work with other GSs, and work on badges during the cruise. I think this is a great idea. Include us in the count that has been floating around the board.
I will add your DD to the list! Welcome aboard!

If it's this weekend, we're game. (Sans DH who signed up for a seminar this weekend thinking we'd be gone by then.) I could put off our departure through the weekend. After that - we'll be north and won't be able to participate.
You'll be too busy meeting me and my family! I can't wait for the hot tub!

OMG so much work for all of us! hope you know how much we all appreciate it. So organized too.... I'm totally digging how organized everything was. ;)

Wow...what a long day! Thanks for checking at the DT again for us. Thoughts and prayers for DF & DM.:flower3:

Well ofcourse.
And ofcourse you DO realize that the day WE arrive is when it will get crowded again...... right? Cause that's how it works. LOL

1) What are your hobbies and / or passionate interests again?

I collect 1980s CPKs and Disney of course. I'm also a huge Kiva.org fan/lender.

2) Any favorite reading subjects, and/or magazines and/or authors?

I don't read as much as I used to but I enjoy a number of different genres from chick lit to mystery/thrillers.

3) You have any snacks or beverages which you sinfully covet?

Chocolate or almond flavoured things

4) Are there any musicians, music groups or catagories of music which tickle your fancy more than others?

Sugababes, Scissor Sisters and Mika are all played pretty regularly on the iPod at the moment

5) Are you COMPULSIVE about anything??? - or alternatively - is there anything that comes to mind which has recently has been an ANNOYANCE to you?

Totally compulsive. I am an over organizer and some things have to be done in certain way. It works well for my career as I need to be detailed and thorough.

6) Tell us something you've NOT ever posted or mentioned about yourself - to the best of your recollection. Those with por memories are invited to just make something entertaining up!

Geez thats a hard one. I can't think of anything interesting at all.

7) Now ... I'm going to stick MY neck out and ask ya ta share your T-shirt size .... and if this is NOT a diplomaticly correct question - then I invite you to substitute with confessing your NICKNAME!... if any?

Robert calls me "Monkey" otherwise there isn't much you can do with Paula.
