:offtopic: MORE PICTURES OF THE SHIP ADDED TO THE TRIP REPORT!!

remember with the photo mats to mask off around the edge with removable tape, so that the signatures do not get too close to the edge and be covered with the frame. I learned that the hard way on a graduation mat! :)

I found 11x14 mats with a 5x7 off center opening at the dollar tree last cruise. They make poster like clear frames if this happens so that you can display all of the sigs. :) I got ours at Michael's.

I saw some special photo frames with an autograph mat at Target today on the sale/end cap. I think they were meant for graduations.

OK, call me confused! :confused3 The list that Cheryl posted last week had the late diners broken up into tables.(I thought) Is that not what it was?

From the looks of it by numbers of people in each group those are sorted by dining stations. There are usually 3 tables in each station (worked by the server and assistant)... 4, 6, and 8. Made me thankful that we didn't not have assigned seating at our wedding reception! :rotfl2:

Yeah much more luggage is needed for our "three hour tour".... or is that three continent tour....

You get used to it.... The last two houses i've lived in are on the flight path to Camp David.... El-shrubo wastes most of our tax dollars on two or three trips a weeks out there. (well out here since now i only live 10 miles south of Catoctin) They typically take two or three other choppers with them... If you only saw one chopper...Probably not el-shrubbo...Probably was vice-pres or empty run.

He did have a big party at the White House yesterday for his DD. (More tax dollars at work. :headache: )

I've been kinda panicky too since my dsis fractured her hip (now has it pinned) She's only 3 yrs younger than me but my joints do click a little when i rotate my hips. :worried:

Come on... i am bringing two pairs of sneaks JIC and my cycling shoes....

2 pairs?? We did Italy last year with a wedding there so we needed formal wear and clothes for 17 days with only one large and one medium suitcase. I'm hoping to try to only do three bags for this one (one will be mostly empty for souveniers)... sneakers don't fit in the plan! I'm not one of those who can wear them on the plane. My toes like freedom. :)

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for my family. The viewing is tonight and the funeral is tomorrow. I did not make it back to PA still here in CA.

Another hot day in So. California....yikes!! I believe it is the travel fairies preparing us for hot weather on the cruise!!

DS18 had an all day drum corp rehearsal in West Covina and it was 115 on the turf at mid day....yikes!! They had their first show in Brea which was a cool and balmy 93 at 7pm....LOL

What corps is your son marching and what does he play. I marched in Crossmen and Renegades (hence the screen name). I am a percussionist (pit).

I PM'ed you, Sil . . . no worries!!!!

We had a great DC Mini Meet today with Laurie (Mrs. Scoobie) & Family, Mike & Linda (cruisin'Mike), Laura (Eeyorelover10) & DD, and me and my DSs. We had lunch at the Natural History Museum Cafe. After about 2 hours, we left the cafe, took a photo and (I thought) parted ways to explore the museum. 1.5-2 hours later, the boys and I were leaving the museum...and there was everyone else...right where we left them. They never left! Just stood there chatting for hours. Sounded fun, but DSs would not have been happy if I didn't let them explore a bit. Everyone was wonderful and friendly (as expected). Even more reasons to look forward to TOAL!

We missed ya, Kristina!

Perhaps the roll call thread on the Boards?

Please , please, please - for the sanity (what's left of it) of the Pirate Navigator crew - edit it into your original post. Thank You.

GREAT KEEPSAKE IDEA

I went to the craft store today and bought 2 signature mats. 11 x 14 mat that has space for a 5 x 7 picture. I am dropping them on day one at the front desk with a set of multi - colored sharpies and getting them signed by the characters. Then I have one for a picture of each kid. Last cruise I dropped off 12x12 scrapbook pages and then look great! Now if I could just get some other pages done from that trip...

We did this on our cruise last year. It turned out great! I plan to do another one this time, but I thought I read a while ago that you could no longer request all the characters' signatures. :confused3

I don't know what it is with drugs that come in prefilled syringes but the needles they use are about as dull as nails.

Whoosh...am here i thought it was just me.... Half the time it really hurt just pressing the needle on my skin and it wouldn't go in.

I think i wasted 4-5 needles out of each box because they didn't seem right. :confused3

If i started a different one it usually went in like butter..

Well that's the way she explained it??? :confused3

i think Cher meant tables...

:cool1: I found my dress for Princess night!!!!! and it was $16.00. regular price $160.00 - what a bargain! ......

We went to a Dillards closeout store - DH got him 2 "tropical" shirts (Nautica) for 4.50 each and 2 Ralph Lauren short sleeve shirts for 4.99 each. We spent 60 bucks there today and I still saved DH 100.00.
Then we went to MicroCenter and bought DS a PS2 game and had a 10.00 coupon - the game was 24 cents!!!!! I tried to get them to go to the mall after this to see what other bargains we might find but the had shopped enough for the day.....

Great bargins!!!! Most of the formals that 17dd & I have I bought at Dillards -- July is a great month for clearance sales on Formals at their regular stores. ;)

I made our FE -- it's not that great! LOL!
And I bought all of our gifts on ebay -- I bought things in *lots*.

:cool1: I found my dress for Princess night!!!!! and it was $16.00. regular price $160.00 - what a bargain! It was not my favorite but it fit and works... now I just need to get the length taken up. I am going to see if my Mom can do this - she is a perfectionist - I will have to explain to her that I could care less if it is perfect - just not so long... I also need to get a good tan going... so this week I will do my free week in the tanning bed... then see if I can find somewhere in Memphis next week to get a cheap week then come back here and tan for a month. one item off my list. I have now bought 4 dresses for this cruise... I cannot remember the last time I wore a dress. my DS is so cute - telling me how good I look in the dress and how I should wear a dress more often... just not me:confused3

:cool1: I love a good bargain!!!

DH & Samantha (17dd) saw a coyote in our front yard a few weeks ago.... Dh showed me where him and his dad saw the babies a few days later.

That's great! Tell him Congratulations!!!

What fun!!! I've never done an overnight retreat. It seems that all the ones that my friends are doing land on weekends that just won't work for me! I keep telling myself that when my younger kids get a little older I'll have plenty of time to scrap!

I used to get alot more scrapping done when I belonged to a local group and we would get together once a month. Maybe I need to start a group in my new neighborhood.......

I told her for you! :rotfl: :rotfl: And she said *thank you*. ;)
Have you seen the color of her room???

Here is inside her shower --

This is the color of her room -- the pic was taken after only the first coat..

Give them all a hug and tell Elvis I need to see him act for me!!!

Hi everyone!

I can't catch up with the board but has anyone heard an eta on when we are getting the SM?

Thanks!

We are in Seattle and just had a nice mini meet.

You have been answered. Laura will be back soon!!:thumbsup2

Morning Andrew, I was just passing by and thought I'd call-in and say "Hello".

David

Did you forget about me!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

We'll be wearing ours too. Just makes packing easier. More of a pain in the airport now having to take them off, but it's worth it.

This morning we are off to Chicago for a DISUnplugged Meet   We're heading down there a bit earlier because we're going to meet Cheryl & John :cool1: I haven't been to the Woodfield Mall in more than 20 years, I wonder if it has changed any :lmao: Going to the Doorway to Dreams DVC store. Can't wait!!! Cheryl, I have cheese curds and mozzarella whips for you :)

I did not know this because I did not have time to Dis.

Tell Cheryl I said Hi!!!
From what I read in the paper one day, there is a A&W fast food store near me that serves fried Cheese curds. One day I will get enough nerve to try them.Cheryl said she had them on her last cruise.

Work :surfweb: today. I pulled something in my back Thursday morning and it is still an annoyance. Hope this goes away soon. It is a real pain!!!

Fried cheese curds must be to die for!!!:lmao: :lmao:

Due to the fact that this is a very lively, talkative bunch, I cannot seem to find the post with the listing of the Crew (Late) Dining group. I know lat I saw it, Caropooh & I were seated with Disfreaks and family (who we met last night). But I would like to know who is who and with whom. I also could not find this on the website. Can anybody help>

You requested a seperate table but you will be right next to Disfreak family as long as DCL leaves it alone!!

I have both the Captain's and Crew dining groups listed Cheryl and Kristina have not come up with seating assignments yet so we don't know who is sitting with who. From what I have heard that will be available a couple of weeks before we leave. :rolleyes1

I am done with seating people with people and all your tables are assigned. ::yes:: ::yes:: The tables will be a surprise because this is not easy to fill a stations, try not to use the stations that move far away from the other stations when into the next restaurant. It is worse than putting a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle together!!!!!!:  :rolleyes1
