Disneycrazzzy, I saw our room steward Shaka at your door getting magnets! He thought it was cool that you did that. He said everyone else was getting magnets, so he thought he would decorate his door too!!!!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 He was nice!

I told my room steward and my sister's that they could have whatever they wanted. I confirmed that they could put magnets on the doors of their cabins as well. It makes me feel better knowing that some of the cast members got some too. On the last night, I spent hours putting out as many magnets as I could fit and they were mostly gone by morning. Since I put them out at 11pm, I'm guessing it was mostly unruly teenagers and employees who took them.

Welcome back to old Europe !!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

You can always think of BALTIC CRUISE :dance3: ............ and - maybe- ;)a trip to DLRP !

When will the kids be back at school ?

laura
Yes back home and safe, all tired, thanks again for the Milan calender, the kids go back later this week. Baltic cruise in 10 months!

Thank you for the letters we liked the surprise of them, very nice but yes young teenagers kept changing our letters over to rude words so took them down in the end.

Hello Ed!

This was my first full week back at work and I found it to be exhausting! I found myself wishing for someone to tidy up my rooms at home, turn down my bed and leave me yummy chocolates (Emily did do this for me one night), someone cooking meals and so much more! Life was so much better on the Magic!

I miss the friends we made, watching the sun set over the water, sitting and having a relaxing glass of wine each night, floating in the water and and all the peaceful times we found on board.

I find myself wondering...when can I go back??????

Hi Everyone *waves*

We are all still missing the Magic here. Even Darren who is not that into Disney said it was the best part of our trip and that he really enjoyed it.

We rebooked a "placeholder" cruise 4th December 2010 onboard. We have no intention of cruising that week but we will move it to 2011 or 2012. My heart wants it to be 2011 as even that seems a LONG way off but my head says that there are rumours of Europe in 2012 and that would be great for us - no expensive air fare to the US to budget for!!!

Jen - I am so pleased that you found yourself a job, I hope all is going well. I have missed checking out the cruise site to look at your blog!

Laura, i am glad you and Marco enjoyed New York, it is always good to have an extra bit of the trip to look forward to to make it a tiny bit less sad to disembark!

Anyway, just popping by to say hi to everyone and see if you were all home sick for the Magic like me! We really loved it so much and Izzy in particular had the time of her life in the clubs. I cried on Friday night getting ready to leave especially checking her out of the club the last time. They had me wait while they found one of the CMs because they said she would definitely want to say one last goodbye to Izzy. I didn't get a Magical Moments certificate for the CC5K that I didn't do (ooops) but I was excited to find one in an envelope on our door on the last night awarded to Izzy and Olivia listing the Magical Moment as being Family of the Week from The Youth Activities Department which was a lovely Disney touch.

*Sigh* I am so ready to go back already!

We are all soooo "home-sick" for the Magic.............The kids just finished up their first week of school and I refuse to unpack my suitcase still since I figure in a few short months I am headed back to WDW~~!~! LOL!!!!!!!!!!! I need to get to unpacking it. But it is mostly summer clothes and we actually do not need them here anymore......The mornings are frigid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I miss everything about it my robe, slippers, the comfy bed and pillows, chocolates at night...........I really miss it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sooooooo sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When in 2011 is everyone thinking about? I'm hoping for Summer...but when??? I'm not sure. I guess it depends on the schedule. Of course I'm ready to go back NOW!!!!!!! I don't know if I can wait that long!:)

Kristin, when in Dec. are you going? We are going for New Years and then again(hopefully!) for Spring Break!:yay::yay: so at least I have that to keep me happy!

Mel at lot of us are booked on the Dec 4, 2010, with hopes to change it soon! :woohoo::woohoo:

Mel, how nice that they recognized what special little girls you have!! They were absolutely adorable - I loved watching them pose for the photographers!!

As for the Magical Moments certificate for the 5K- the one that was delivered to our stateroom was really nice - and then I realized that the person listed as completing the run was ...Sean!! Not me. If anyone has met my husband, you'll understand that our whole family practically fell on the floor laughing. :rotfl2: Sean is threatening to have it framed and take it to the high school where he teaches and put it over his desk . Too, too funny.

I miss the Magic soo much. Wasn't it great having no responsibilities except to make it to dinner on time? (okay, maybe I should add "getting to the boat on time" due to those poor families that got confused with the ship's departure time.:confused3) School stars on Tuesday for our kids and for Sean - boy, are they in a big wake up call (pun intended!) Sean is still using the last few days to "float" in our pool - (did anyone else see him in his "place" at the adult pool every day - he was the big guy with the Army boonie cap...) but considering the weather here hasn't gotten past 75 degrees, its a little chilly after a while!! LOL.

Laura, what else did you do in NYC? Did you have a good time?? My kids always enjoy Ellen's Stardust. The singing waiters and waitresses are all so talented.

Anna, no one ever touched the letters on our door!! :thumbsup2 A family near ours asked where the magnets came from and we gave them some and also gave them your room number - they came back with a few magnets and HUGE, HUGE grins. You delivered such pixie dust to so many people on the cruise!!!

Enjoying the trip reports from our cruise soo much. Keep 'em coming!!!
Have a great weekend everyone! (..darn, there goes the "ding" for my next load of laundry...!!!...)

Also Mel , I saw you twice, once on my first Palo Brunch Tuesday 10.AM, my wife told me not to interrupt you, and you did seem to be enjoying yourselves so wanted to leave you to it, enjoying the Brunch, and then I saw you at the Character breakfast, again busy with your two girls and the characters. Decided again not to trouble you as you had your hands full.

Saw you in the evening show a few times, did you do Golden Mickeys, my son was on the TV and did a shout out to Essex. I wanted him to say, when they asked what does he like on the ship, 'We love Christiaan' (another CD), but he backed off.

Now you muct book a Baltic cruise if you all enjoyed the Magic....sailing from Dover.

Hi Jude,,

We too are missing the MAGIC sooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight, I put my slippers on that they gave me on the cruise and I was sooo sad inside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously missing the Magic here too. Started working on a scrapbook with Snapfish. I had about 700 pictures between our two weeks at Disney and the cruise. My friend had close to 1800! I spent hours trying to delete some to a reasonable amount (I loaded her SD cards on my computer). I feel guilty doing it but I don't need 5 shots of her daughter hugging a character (and she had to visit EVERY character she saw). She's got a serious problem. Funny story, when we got to Downtown Disney after disembarking she was already in character withdrawal (she's 4) so she had her mom take pictures with all the character statues. Chris has her trained well. ;)

Did anyone see the story of the Wonder finding the missing Carnival passenger and doing a rescue at sea on Thursday. Just reading it to my DH I was choking up.

DS is in a soccer tournament this weekend. We've won our first two games, two more tomorrow. I think we're going to be in the Championship game in our division. Quite a boost since they haven't had a practice yet with the full team present.

We didn't rebook, although I know we'll be returning, probably in 2011 since we tend to go every other year. Can't wait until the 10th when they release the itinerary. Can't wait to sail on Dream!

CIAOOOO Jude and everyone !!

Yes , we had a wonderful time in NYC : we did a tour - early in the morning on Sunday - had all of NYC to ourselves !!! Magic !! we saw "everything BUT The Lady !! Did a nice stroll on 5th avenue , some shopping ( found a cute Vera Bradley backpack) , watched a show on Broadway , went to Top of the rock , visited most of mid-town and Central Park !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quite a lot in less than two days !!!! We both really loved NYC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALL OF YOU : keep on dreaming of ...;) 2011 !!!!!!!!!!
