Hope everyone is ok and getting back to real life no matter how hard that may seem Just yesterday we were in the car and Izzy said she wished we were going to have dinner with Rambo and Sel (our server and assistant server!)

Mel, how nice that they recognized what special little girls you have!! They were absolutely adorable - I loved watching them pose for the photographers!!

As for the Magical Moments certificate for the 5K- the one that was delivered to our stateroom was really nice - and then I realized that the person listed as completing the run was ...Sean!! Not me. If anyone has met my husband, you'll understand that our whole family practically fell on the floor laughing. Sean is threatening to have it framed and take it to the high school where he teaches and put it over his desk . Too, too funny.

Enjoying the trip reports from our cruise soo much. Keep 'em coming!!!

Lol - I bet Sean will treasure that Magical Moments certificate forever! It was lovely bumping into you guys around the ship - it's always good to see some familiar faces other than Mickey Minnie and co!

Also Mel , I saw you twice, once on my first Palo Brunch Tuesday 10.AM, my wife told me not to interrupt you, and you did seem to be enjoying yourselves so wanted to leave you to it, enjoying the Brunch, and then I saw you at the Character breakfast, again busy with your two girls and the characters. Decided again not to trouble you as you had your hands full.

Saw you in the evening show a few times, did you do Golden Mickeys, my son was on the TV and did a shout out to Essex. I wanted him to say, when they asked what does he like on the ship, 'We love Christiaan' (another CD), but he backed off.

Now you muct book a Baltic cruise if you all enjoyed the Magic....sailing from Dover.

Awww Andrew, I wish you had said hello - we were indeed having a great time but it would have been nice to thank you in person for all the great information you have posted and shared with us all.

I saw the Golden Mickeys matinee - I wish I had seen Stephen doing an Essex shout out!

As for the Baltic, if 2012 brings a repeat of next years Baltic itinerary we may well be on it, but next year we can't stretch that far. It has been a busy few years for us since 2005 - two children born, a house bought and in the process of being rennovated and a trip to Florida with a DCL cruise. I worked out that we could just about do the Dover to Barcelona next year and we will probably go for it unless you are wrong and the 2011 is a European trip - if that is the case we will skip Dover to Barcelona and save towards a big one in 2011 - if not 2010 and then 2012 will hopefully be on the cards

Seriously missing the Magic here too. Started working on a scrapbook with Snapfish. I had about 700 pictures between our two weeks at Disney and the cruise. My friend had close to 1800! I spent hours trying to delete some to a reasonable amount (I loaded her SD cards on my computer). I feel guilty doing it but I don't need 5 shots of her daughter hugging a character (and she had to visit EVERY character she saw). She's got a serious problem. Funny story, when we got to Downtown Disney after disembarking she was already in character withdrawal (she's 4) so she had her mom take pictures with all the character statues. Chris has her trained well.

Did anyone see the story of the Wonder finding the missing Carnival passenger and doing a rescue at sea on Thursday. Just reading it to my DH I was choking up.

DS is in a soccer tournament this weekend. We've won our first two games, two more tomorrow. I think we're going to be in the Championship game in our division. Quite a boost since they haven't had a practice yet with the full team present.

We didn't rebook, although I know we'll be returning, probably in 2011 since we tend to go every other year. Can't wait until the 10th when they release the itinerary. Can't wait to sail on Dream!

Hehe I know what you mean about 5 photos of each thing. Photography is one of my hobbies so it is hard for me to relinquish the camera, partly because I like to get the shot I want and partly because when I let DH take the pictures he always takes between 4 and 10 of everything!

Wow I saw the thing about the Wonder rescue, lucky for him they were nearby, what a crazy thing to do - I guess common sense struck about the same time he hit the water as he started treading water and carried on for 90 minutes.

Ed I agree, I know carnival prices are cheaper and he got a free ride on the Wonder but it seems a touch extreme!!

As said when we saw you at Palo brunch you were being introduced to the food, I had been in at 10.20am so you would have a later reservation say 11am? and we didnt want to disturb, then at the Character breakie with the girls you had your hands full.

I didnt notice you at dinner before, so maybe you were further away from us in thoose, we were on table 68.

Hi All!,

Laura thanks for your kind comments about the girls, Isabelle kept saying "look Mummy there are your friends Laura and Margo" (she had not quite got the pronounciation of Marco right) when we were in Disney after the cruise. By that time you were in New York so I knew it wasn't but she was convinced she saw you a couple of times!!!

So what do you all think to the 2011 announcements? We are very keen to do Alaska but maybe when the kids are a little older. I think when there are 4 ships Alaska will continue to be offered so I will probably not even try to book Alaska 2011 - instead we are thinking of doing the 2010 Dover - Barcelona cruise and then rebooking a dummy date on board for 2012. A few more days to think about it. We will only book a cat 11 and if they become available reshop for a Cat 12 GTY unless we see a SPH room become available for that sailing - The cruise doesn't look THAT full (all cats still available online) and I wonder if perhaps some will cancel or move their booking to an Alaska sailing...

Does anyone else have any firm plans?

Going to Alaska! That's the plan. We still haven't picked the date yet, better do it soon there is only one week until we can start booking. My parents are coming this time and maybe the friends we just cruised with. I am slightly disappointed that it won't be on Dream and going to Castaway, especially with all the changes happening there. But Alaska is on everyone's bucket list and if Disney is going so are we! Now I wish we had booked the dummy date too.

What does everyone think of the new itineraries? I see Ed and Gina are thinking about going to Alaska. I'm waiting to see what the schedule will be for the Dream. Alaska sounds good though as do some of the repo's, but the dates for the repo's don't really work for me cause of school.

You will have to tell me about your necklace from Laura! I wear the beautiful jewelry from her all the time as it makes me happy and remember all my wonderful new friends!

I have been trying and trying to vote for the girls but it will not let me log in! I can log in on the Disney website but when I try to log in using the same user name and password it tells me it is not right. When I try to reset my password, it still says it won't work. I tried to create a new account and it won't let me! I will keep trying though because your daughters are so cute in that photo!

I am still waiting to see what the schedule will be for the Dream as well. We are stuck because of our school schedules and so I know we have to look at summer 2011. I am a bit worried that there will not be any longer cruises (at least 7 nights) out of Florida! We want to be able to go back in 2011 so badly but do not think we will do a cruise if they do only shorter cruises or the price is too high.

It is going to be a long wait to the end of October when it all is suppose to be released!
