Hey everybody, I have officially started my busy season!! From now until I go to WDW in May, I will be swamped every weekend with "stuff", between Easter, ballet class, bday parties, relatives coming from out of town, recital, me and Steve's anniversary(April 6th, the same as Jake's birthday, Harry), Thomas the Train coming to town, one of my BFF's having a baby, etc.... Whewwww, I'm feeling like I'm on Harry's schedule!! LOL

Sounds good. I have only eaten the Irish dinner when we were in Ireland that is one good meal.. Bruce is actually going out with people from work tomorrow., My mom is going to make him corned beef....

The kids are setting up a leprachaun trap. They want to try and catch him tonight. Last year he came and left them a pot of gold chocolate coins so they are hoping for some this year too!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!

We are trying to survive the remodel. Need to finish emptying out our bedroom our hard wood floor is getting put down tomorrow morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristen, can your mom send me some corned beef, too??? I love it!!

I am looking at some room pics of AKV- the one bedroom, I cannot wait until May to stay there!!!

Good Morning!

How is everyone? It has been forever since I have posted :confused3 a lot going on. Having some problems with Zane and his school. I might be moving him into private school next year and if I do then I will probably have to change this cruise to another date :sad2: because this is usually the week they start. I finished all the paperwork and turned it in on Friday but I won't know anything until the end of April. It will be a loooong wait. Hope everyone is doing well and I will try to check in more often!

Tonya :)

Oh Tonya! That is such a shame but I totally understand that you have to do what you have to do for Zane. We sacrificed so much in our early years for the sake of the kids and those sacrifices totally paid off so good luck - fingers crossed the school application goes well...

{knock on wood} no one here has gotten sick this winter. I picked up this sinus thing late last week and now my wife has it, but so far the kids have been spared.

Jake's birthday is April 6. Big day as we will be rushing back from Tim's Eastern Regional swim meet at the Univ. of DE to get to Philadelphia for the Flyers game (we rented a suite for Jake's birthday). He's going to be soooo excited because as far as he knows we'll be in our regular seats that day. He's name will be on the scoreboard and he'll be getting a visit from the "Ice Girls" (that's probably more for Dad than Jake though :rotfl: ).

That's DH's niece's birthday!!! Sounds like a fab day - Jake's going to love it... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

They look fantastic, don't they???? Just been chatting with my DD and debating whether to try for a Grand Villa in summer 2009 instead of renting a villa in St. Pete's for a week - it's very tempting... :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

We're thinking of taking a quick Christmas shopping break in Orlando in November - the airfares are looking great so watch this space... ;)

Aww thank you! :thumbsup2 Don't tell anyone, but I've already started a pre-trip report for our upcoming May vacation. I don't want to give anything away, but it's going to be a goodie... ;) :goodvibes :cool1:

Hey Ed,

What's cooki'n???!!!!!!

Made Brownies in our new oven for the first time.
Got the oven back in Nov, the old one was built in 1962

What a difference, Light and fluffy and good toooo
The old oven at the end had a mind of it's own. One minute it would maintain temp and then later up 30 degrees or more. For a bit we did more cooking in the toaster over or our outside grill.

Don't know what's cookin' with Ed, but here in NJ we are cookin' a ton of stuff for St. Patrick's Day!

You all know I am "trapped" here with all the Italians - so those type of traditions (e.g. Christmas Eve dinner) take precedence here usually... So tomorrow is the one day each year I get to celebrate my Irish heritage! I've moved beyond my drinking of green beer until I puke phase to more culinary type stuff though - it happens as we get older I guess?!?!

Pretty much the Irish haven't really contributed to fine cuisine so it's mostly a potato event, eh?! :rotfl: Today it's potato chowder for lunch... we've got the whole corned beef dinner going (mostly an American thing I think!), soda bread.... Tomorrow it'll be bangers & mash....

So that's what's cookin' here! :)

AH yes, the old tradition of Green beer. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I do love the soda bread, but this Irish/german dutch boy dosn't care for the corned beef.

Feel wrong that Easter this year is a week after St Pats day,:confused3

We still do an easter egg hunt at our house for Caitlin, normally some money and candy hide in the eggs. This year we are going to surprise her.

She still thinks we are going on vacation in July and she can not attend the theater camp cause its filled. I am going to put a slip of paper in one of the eggs they say's admit one to the summer theater camp, and another one telling her we are going to Dollywood, and another one that says free trip to Niagara falls
