How is everyone tonight...

WE are sleeping in our media room tonight since they have to finish our hardwood flooring tomorrow morning...!!!!!!!

Hey Ed, I have a question about the auto train- how big are the seats, do they have food onboard? What type of seats did you get, or did you get a room? Inqiring minds want to know, we are thinking of driving down next summer before the cruise(Lorton is an hour away), and taking the autotrain home. We were going to need a vehicle, and so I've been looking into that option. I think we would definately drive down, it's about 13.5 hours to Disney from us, I figure we'll be excited and won't have a problem with that, and then just drive the hour to Sanford from the port, and take the train back.

We have traveled on the Autotrain 3 times. each time we got one of the cabins. I would not do the couch seats as everyone is in the same car, think Greyhound bus with reclining seats.

The cabin sleeps two to four depending on which ones you get
We had the family bedroom twice Sleeps 4, and the other two, we got adjoining bedroom, two cabins with removable wall between unit. the adjoining bedroom units have a combo Toilet/shower in unit. The family bedroom had the toilet down the hall.

Non of the cabins are that large, but good enough for overnight
Yes food is on board , dinner and Breakfast included in price.
You can also get some snacks and soda in lounge during part of trip. (extra cost)

You must board train by 2:30 pm. It leaves lorton va or sanford fl by 4pm and you arrive around 9 am next morning. It takes between 1/2 hr to 2 hrs to unload the cars from the train depending when yours come off.

The earlier you book the better price you can get, It runs the 3 of us and our car about 830 on way If you do couch seats can be less, but we prefer the cabin, so we can keep to ourself we bring a portable dvd player and our ipods to keep us entertained

No our bed is in here along with all of our bedroom stuff it is very interesting looking in this room/...
It is like a drive in movie theatre in here...LOL!!!!

Hi all!!! OMG we were on page 2 so giving us a leeetle *bump*...

Samuel came home today for the Easter vacation - so fab to have him here!!! Thinking about booking a week in WDW during October - I want DS to attend the MNSSHP and the flights are looking pretty good... Going to give MS a call tomorrow and see what resorts are available during that time...

Hi all,
I just got back from a glorious walk on the beach with my dog. He is hilarious; he treats every tidepool like it's his own personal swimming pool. I don't know who had a better time, him or me! I love spring break! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
