8/10/2008 - Mexican Party Cruise - Who's Here??

Hi everyone, yes please we would like to join you. We took the West Coast cruise in 2005 and this will be our 6th Disney cruise (5th on the Magic), the last being the Westbound Repo in August this year. There will be me, my ds 16 and my dd 14.
Joan

Hi Joan!

Great to see you. :thumbsup2 Only 8 months, 4 weeks and 1 day to go... :woohoo:

Well it's now less than a year to wait and it's basically a sell out so I guess people will start coming out of the woodwork now.
Have your teens been in the stack before? My oldest has three times before and keeps in touch with some friends from Easter 2005, June 2006 and some new ones from July 28 2007.

My girls loved the Stack! However, on this cruise, my older daughter will be 18...her first out of the teen club. I'm hoping there will be some kids her age she can hook up with.

Hello fellow Disney Cruisers! We are going to be aboard the December 10th sailing as well! Myself, DH and DD( age 2 on Cruise) will be experiencing our first Disney Cruise from LAX to Mexico and we are very excited. We are coming from PA and staying at the DL Hotel for 4 nights prior to sailing. Matbe some you who have done the west coast cruise before can help me figure out flight times that would work. The flights all seem to be very early (7 am) or very late (11:00 pm). I did find one back home at 11:53 AM. Would this give me enough time to catch a flight at LAX???? :confused3

Help please... I am excited and want to book my flights soon.

:welcome: to the DISboards and so glad you guys are gonna be sailing with us... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Can't help with the flights I'm afraid - we're flying over from the UK the day before the cruise and staying in the DL Hotel after the cruise...

You could try posting your question on the main part of cruise forum...

I knew I shouldn't have booked our flights! We are now booked on the PC eastbound repo 17 Aug as some spaces have opened up. I'm so excited as this is what we really wanted and I didn't think we'd be able to go, so now I've got to rearrange our flights. Hope you all have a wonderful cruise, and I'll see you Karen in 2009 on the Eastern Caribbean. Joan

Aww Joan, that's great news! :thumbsup2 I'm selfishly sorry I'm not going to meet you until August 2009 but so very pleased you've got what you wanted!!! :yay: Have a wonderful amazing trip - can't wait to hear all about it...

Hi Everone! Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to disembark and get to the airport? :confused3 I am trying to book my flights but not sure how early I can book...I would like to get as early as possible since I loose a couple hours coming home. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

I had flight time questions as well... and I really want to book flights soon so I called DCL and checked what time they were recommending for flights out of LAX. I was told 1 pm. The flights home are not so good... really early or really late. We are thinking that we might even ge a hotel room on the 17th to relax and use the pool for the day and then book an 11 pm flight out.

I can't wait till this thread gets really busy... cause that will mean we are really close to Cruisin' time!!!!:cool1:

Woohoo! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: The excursions for the Mexican Riviera cruise are now on the DCL website!!! :cool1: :cheer2: :cool1:

I have deduced that Formal Night could possibly be on Day 2, the first At Sea day. Of course I'm probably totally wrong and just making assumptions but when will we know this kind of thing..?

Hello Everyone,

On the Aug 2007 Med Cruise, we decided to sign up for the Mexican Riviera Cruise. On this trip will be my Husband and DD 11 and DD 16. We are so looking forward to this trip. First time on the West Coast for us.

We're also using DVC points to stay at the Grand Californian after the cruise. Any advice you can share regarding excursions or Disneyland for 1st timers is much appreciated. :)

Helloooo everyone!!!

Hope you all had a wonderfully fab-u-lous Christmas!!! :santa:

I returned from Orlando last Saturday but what with Christmas preparations plus a bout of flu that started in WDW :( , I haven't had much chance to get online - hopefully I'll catch up asap...

Samuel and I had a truly magical time - despite feeling rather unwell for much of the week. Not sure when I'll get around to doing a trip report as the in-laws arrive tomorrow for New Year! And they're - shall we say - high maintenance... But, for now, here's just a little taster of our fab trip...
