Hi, I went to dance class this morning, stopped in at my mom's house (I guess it's a mom day today ).

Then I went to Walmart where I was very bad and had a Big Mac combo and I did a bit of shopping while I was there.

It's very cold here today.

Not likeing that very much

Yummy Robin.... that Big Mac sounds very tasty right now. My grandfather always said that if you don't feel guilty while you are eating it, and you savor every bite... you digest it better! I love living by that! Help's me to enjoy that huge Thanksgiving meal (and the leftovers for the next two days)

Mandy, that's pretty cool you guys got tickets to see Miss Spears! Looks like she is pulling herself together these days!

Betsy, thanks for the prayers for Carolin! DM & DD felt so bad for her with what she's been going thru, so they took her today to get a massage. She's called me telling me how wonderful she feels... I think she's enjoying rubbing it in!

I love all the pixie dust in it.

Except every year I forget that you tend to put pixie dust in your cards and I have to pick all the pixie dust up off the floor

That's okay though, I don't mind.

It's like finding Hidden Mickey's all over the floor

It's snowing like crazy here today

It's cold and windy and generally just yucky out.

I need groceries but I sure as heck as not going out on a Saturday afternoon

I plan on hanging out inside the house and staying toasty warm all day today.

I posted this on the UK Community about my night out last night, here's a couple of pics

Last night my friend Janette and I had our Christmas meal out at Frankie & Benny's. One of our friends had to pull out as she was poorly, but that didn't stop us having a great time. We both had Christmas pate, Christmas dinner and I had Christmas pudding while Jan had the cheesecake. The meal was delish, and it was polished off with a couple of pitchers of Mai Tai and a bottle of White Zinfandel. Needless to say, we were being a little silly by the time hubby came to pick us up

It is another very windy, cold day here today.

I got my laundry done yesterday, so not much to do today.

Good Morning DWDQs,
I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off!

We had company for Sat. and my son used our trailer for a hunting camp, on Friday night with his two eldest boys..hunted all Sat.(no deer)..

Mike has had Friday off and today too...Then next week he does a half day on Thursday, and off Friday, then has the next two weeks off...(mandatory shut down)

Mike and I got our tree put up yesterday, as the girls stayed home and their whole family decorated gingerbread houses..Jodi(their Mom) made SEVEN of them during the week... ..I bet that was quite the job!..I cant wait to see how they all turned out!

We are going to try to finish up our Christmas shopping today...I hope being a Monday it wont be to crowded...

I have started on my cards and have gotten a few out already, but have more to do..I try to get to a few at a time inbetween other things Im trying to get done..(ie: decorating, shopping, babysitting, entertaining)

It has been sooo cold here...right now its 14degrees, and the high today is going to be only 16 degrees...BRRrrrrrrrr!
Yesterday was really windy here too...I was waiting to see the wicked witch go by my window....

Well I better get ready to go...Layers....LOTSA layers..... even for shopping in this weather....

Mandy your pictures are a hoot!...It looks like you had a really good time..Isnt it great to get out with friends and make good memories!

I went out shopping for food today.

I saw a lot of people I knew out there today.

Several relatives and a few old friends, even an old school teacher.

I thought being a Monday it would be quieter in the store but it was quite busy.

Today the weather is not that bad. It's a lot milder out than it has been for days.

It's a lovely rainy day here today

After all that freezing cold we had, the temps are now above freezing and it 's going to rain all day and all night.

We are off to have dinner with a whole big group of friends tonight.

We know some people from Montreal who are going to be an hour and a bit away so we agreed to meet them for dinner.

That has evolved into approx 14 people all getting together from about a 5 hour drive radius

All airplane people of course but hey I'm not complaining, at least I'm going out.

I'm also glad that it is raining instead of snowing

Mandy, those pics are so cute! What a hangover you must have had the next day after finishing that whole bottle by yourself!

Betsy, hope you finished your shopping yesterday!! I'm just beginning mine... I have so much to do! Carolin is improving everyday! Her headaches have mostly subsided, and she's finally resting and sleeping well! Thanks for asking!

Robin, I'll see if I can send some of these mild temps up your way! It was freezing here yesterday, today is much better! I'm dreading when these cooler temps set in for good.

It's a yucky day here in Virginia! It's drizzling outside but at least the temps are in the upper 60's. I saw someone explain how to put the degree symbol... I've forgotten how to do it now! I was planning on showing off to CW that I'm not that stupid... I'll have to look back on old posts!

Today, Carolin has her first PT appointment. She's here at the office with me and has been feeling alot better with each passing day! I also have to go to the store today to pick up decorations for our office Christmas party.
