Kelly, where does your ship leave from Are you flying there or driving.

Looks like a dreary day here so far.

The ship leaves from San Juan, Puerto Rico so we'll be flying out of Baltimore next Saturday a.m.

We were suppose to have a yucky day here but to my suprise the sun has been popping in and out!

We flew into San Juan when we went on the Adventure of the Seas.

Are you taking Royal Caribbean's transportation or getting yourself to the ship?

We had a bit of trouble after the cruise finding the Northwest checkin counter at the airport in San Juan.

Seemed like people there deliberately were sending us in the wrong directions everytime we asked someone

Finally I went up to one of the other airlines ticket counter and they were much more helpful.

CW has almost finished packing!! It shocked me last night, I'm scared about what he has packed... unfortunately I'm going to make him pull everything out so I can make sure he packed what he needed. I don't want him miserable on this cruise missing something!

I've got alot of errands to run and a good house cleaning on Saturday and we have youth-led service on church Sunday with a covered dish afterwards!

Enjoy your dinner with Paul, my mouth is watering thinking of those yummy Italian dishes

Yes Kelly, you're going to have to check that CW has packed properly, I certainly wouldn't trust Paul to do it

Have fun cleaning, why do we do this ? My house is spotless just before I go on holiday but I'd hate to come home to a messy house

Thanks, we'll have a lovely time tomorrow. I'm looking forward to some Italian food now - nevermind tomorrow

I'm the same way.

When I go away I like to have my house clean but when I'm home I usually don't care so much about the state that it is in

It is nice to come home to a clean house though but the stress of making it clean right before I go away on vacation is probably not a good thing

Good morning everyone

Thank you all for the P&P....
Yes Kelly, it did happen fast...alot faster then I expected....BUT..
It worked out alright...She has a nice room mate...Everyone was very welcoming....We stayed the morning, and left after lunch...Which was alright..but a little bland, as expected...
When it was time to leave she was alittle panicked, but a few other ladies, kind of took her under their wing and started to talk to her about how nice it was there...so that made it a little easier...
I have been feeling a little bad, but I know it will take a while...
Today we are going to go and spend some more time there...and then we will bring the girls tomorrow for a short visit too....
I will still be doing our Thurs. shopping/lunch day...Ill just swing around and pick her up befor I go to my Sons and get one of the boys...
I was also told that Albert is very welcome to come with me any time...

Well we are also taking the twins to church for their first confession today ..so its going to be a busy one

Rainny here today... BUT my daffodils are coming up!

It will take some adjustment time on both sides but you might find that she adjusts quicker than you do

Betsy, I'm so pleased that your mom has settled in, it must be a huge relief for you that the place seems so nice

Well Paul and I had a great time yesterday. We didn't get to Manchester till about 3.30pm, but we had a good wander around the shops. Paul bought me a lovely pair of Skechers sandals and I bought Kerry a TinkerBell towel (for when she goes on holiday with her friends family) and I bought Becky a cute Stitch snowglobe

In the evening we went out for an Italian meal, it was delish. I had a mushroom lasagne and Paul had the meat lasagne, and we had filled potato skins and garlic bread - Mmm

We're really tired now, I think we'll be having a nap this afternoon

Paul must really like to shop. I'd never get Rick to go shopping as many times as Paul seems to go.

I think Rick is allergic to shopping

We are going out for brunch today.

Rick's parents invited our whole family out to this fancy brunch place for noon.

I'm not sure what prompted them to part with their money but hey, free food, we are IN

Mike will shop with me, but always finds a reason to stop at the tool dept...and will look at a wrench for HRS!...I mean how much can a wrench do???. ..I just dont get it...
But he DOES wait for me to go into MY shops so fairs, fair!...I just cant count on an opinion, he always says if I like it,then he likes it.. ..Useless!

Well the girls came over ...(except for Amber, she was under the weather)and we all went to see my mother....She seemed fine. She was sitting in the lobby talking to others...We had a nice visit...the oldsters really enjoyed the girls being there...and Julia even played the piano for a couple ladies...My mom started tp get up when I said we had to go ,and I had to remind her she lived there now...She just said oh yeah...and the girls said their goodbyes, and I helped her back to her room, Her room mate was there... So that was a good distraction...

The house sure is quiet without her though...I miss her...Im much less stressed, but I still miss her...

Well I hope you all enjoyed your weekend....

We're taking RCs transportation to the ship and back to airport. I hope it's easier that way... we'll see

Actually I think when we went it worked out to our advantage

When we pulled up to the terminal there was this HUGE lineup waiting to get inside to check in.

I thought for sure that we'd be standing there for hours.

But because we were on the Royal Caribbean shuttle we seemed to get right in

They took our luggage for us and told us to go in a certain door and get into the line.

Hey worked for us

Felt weird though getting in when the others were waiting outside.

I'm having a lazy day today. My mum doesn't need me to take her shopping, so I've been washing all our bedding today (I hate this job). Our bedding is back on our bed, just the girls bedding to get dry now

I hope your day is far more interesting than mine
