I'm heading out the door for the Harvest Festival. A bunch of businesses in our area get together and we eat delicious seafood... some fill up their mugs It's also an advertisement of some sort, we have a tent set up to meet and greet people on the shore.

I havent gotten a chance to catch up...
But I wanted to post and let you all know Im back, and had a great time....
Im busy trying to unpack and get my laundry done...
Ive got to do my moms too..so Im swamped with dirty clothes....
I also have to mow as it grew alot in two weeks...YUCK!..

I have not started to do any laundry although there is plenty of it sitting there waiting to be done.

It's really tough to be an honorary monorail co-pilot, Kelly. You just gotta sit there and enjoy the view out of the front window of the monorail

Oh yes, and talking to the driver occasionally to ask them silly questions, like can the monorails go backwards

Mandy I only bought myself a tshirt, some pearls from Japan and a few tiny Mickey head key chains that look like miniature antenna toppers.

Oh yes, Liz did a very good job of spending money while we were away

She bought a Pirates coffee mug, a Grumpy travel mug, a Pirate hoodie sweatshirt, a necklace made from her pearl at Japan, a Jack Skellington belt, a Jack Skellington scarf, and that is all that I can remember right now.

She had fun buying things. I'm glad that she was using her own credit card to pay for those things

Mandy, I saw Ann and Susan for about 5 minutes in Epcot on Saturday afternoon.

We were all supposed to meet up at the Beach Club later on but it was raining and they were dressed for dinner and didn't want to/or didn't have the time to make it to the Beach Club to the Threadkiller meet

It was so good to see Betsy again.

I was telling her that it felt just like we had never left each other.

I felt perfectly comfortable being with her, like we do it every day.

I think we've got a quiet weekend coming up, but it'll just be nice not having to get up early and yelling at the girls to get up - even if it's only for a couple of mornings

Hello ladies.

We've got some great weather now and coming up for the next few days. Highs close to 80 and lots of sunshine. I'm loving that idea.

This weekend is a long weekend here in Canada. It is Thanksgiving on Monday.

We are having dinner at my mom's house on Sunday. It will be our first major family gathering since dad went into the nursing home

I'm sure that it will feel pretty strange but I've gotten used to him not being around at the house, so I will be okay with it.

Other than that I have no plans for the weekend at the moment other than getting that mountain of laundry done and enjoying the lovely weather.

Robin, Happy Thanksgiving to you! Are you guys having turkey and all of the trimmings? Hugs to you and your family on this Thanksgiving How is your father doing?

Betsy, Did you get any pics of you and the DGkids? Glad you made it back safely!! One of these days, I'm going to try and make it to the MNSSHP... it looks like alot of fun.

BTW, Paul is heading over the pond to Detroit on Monday, he's visiting General Motors with his boss and is staying till Wednesday, so I hope there's still some good weather over there

Hey Mandy, how cool that Paul is going to Detroit.

He will only be an hour and a bit away from me

Tell him to expect warm weather when he arrives on Monday and the temperature will be dropping about 5 or 6 degrees every day that he is there.

Yes we will be having turkey and all the trimmings for our Thanksgiving dinner but we are having that dinner on Sunday instead of Monday which is actually Thanksgiving day.

My dad is much the same and maybe a bit more confused every time that I see him.

I saw him earlier this week. He was telling me that he had an argument with his daughter (I am his only daughter ... at least as far as I know ). I asked him if she had done something he didn't like and he launched into a big tale which had nothing to do with me
