What a slow day here! Dad has added a new office for himself here. We've been busy moving him out of the old and into the new (really, I've been the one packing him up... I get his old office)! Finally a window to the outside world in my new office

Robin - Are you travelling down to WDW today or tomorrow ? Have a safe journey and a wonderful time - say 'hi' to everyone for me

Kelly - Kerry left Chad a message yesterday, as we all went up to Manchester last night. Paul and Kerry were going to see our football team (Coventry City) play Manchester United and very last minute me and Becky tagged along and did some shopping at the mall there (thankfully the shops were open till 10pm). Well little Coventry City beat Manchester United 2-0 and they both really enjoyed the game. Becky & I had a good shop, I bought a nice going-out top and I bought lots of small Christmas presents for the girls and their friends. We all had a great evening, but didn't get home till 1am, and then I was up at 6.30am (yuck).

It is really cold here at the moment, it feels like Winter is coming

Morning Mandy.

We are leaving Friday morning. We leave home at approx 5:30 am and our flight leaves Detroit, Michigan at 8:50

I'm glad you enjoyed your shopping trip. I'm not really that much of a shopper.

I really really have to be in the right mood to shop and that doesn't happen often or last for very long

The weather here has been lovely the past week or so. It rained yesterday but it was still fairly warm.

We are getting typical fall weather, nice, warm (not usually hot but sometimes a few hot days thrown in) days with cooler nights.

Robin, have a safe flight tommorrow! How many disers are going to be at the meet?

This weekend, CW & I are getting things straight for Carolin's birthday party on the 6th. She wants to have 10 boys and 10 girls (including herself) over.

We've done this in the past and it's come to be known around her school that this time of the year is her party. They hang out in our backyard playing games like the cheetoh toss (The kids team up, I put a shower cap on one head from each team, load it up with shaving cream and they have to try and make the most cheetohs stick ). Then we have a haunted hayride in our woods to scare them a little.

All good fun but when it comes time for the parents to pick them up... I'm ready for them to go

I am so tired today, it's only 5.45pm, but I could easily pop to bed for an hour or so

Kelly - Carolin's party sounds like lots of fun, at least you've got a week to get organised. Kerry & Becky are sleeping over at their friends tomorrow night (as it is the friends birthday). So I guess Paul & I will go out for a meal somewhere (something to look forward to)

Robin - surely you are packed now ? have a safe journey and have a great time. Please take lots of photos, as I'd love to see them next week. Have fun

I think having the Wonder parked outside my window would just be very very frustrating.... if I couldn't get on it every time it left

Attending the DISmeet threadkiller meet this weekend will be, me , Cally (Princessa C), Betsy (Dalpal), Ann (Hollyann) Susan (tinknutt) and Colleen (tiggerwannabe) and a few other assorted family members.

So that makes 6 threadkillers all together at the same time I dont' think we've ever had that many all together in the same place at the same time.

Mandy, I have sort of packed. I threw everything that I wanted to take with me into the suitcase (clothes anyway). I still have to pack them properly and put the other bits and pieces in there.

So I'm close enough to being packed that another 1/2 hour to an hour will totally finish the job.

Me too, it would be great to meet up with Betsy, Robin, Sue and Ann. I bet they'll have a great time with their meet and also MNSSHP - at least we should have lots of news (and hopefully photos) from their trips

I was suppose to go to a baby shower on Saturday... my friend had her baby yesterday (a month early). She gave birth to a 4 lb 5 oz baby girl, they named her Sara and she seems to be doing well

Chad has a 3:30 soccer game on Saturday, I guess that's where I'll be CW and Chad are talking about the next session which starts Oct 6th. Haven't they had enough
