7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

Robin,
Im sure this will be a problem for my family in the not to distant future...and I am trying to prolong it .....BUT .....

Anyway, I hope today goes OK... ..

I don't wish this decision on anyone.

We toured a home today and it is beautiful, I must say.

It is brand new in the past year and very bright and cheerful. There are sunrooms and outdoor balconies on each level which is very nice.

As we were touring we passed by a room where a new resident had just arrived. He was in the room with his wife and a couple of staff members. The poor man's chin was just quivering and he was quite upset.

His son was standing down the hall abit and was saying that his father was very angry with him right now but it had to be done It was getting to be too much for his elderly mother.

I wish Robin, the most exciting thing I have been doing is buying some dollars and yesterday I made my Mousekeeping envelopes for the tips

This week I need to ring Disney to sort out another DDE (Disney Dining Experience) card

Other than that, I haven't got anything interesting to do over the next few days

I'm just touring the countryside to Toronto and back and to Toronto and back again

Went today to pick up my son from Toronto. He is home for a week.

Tomorrow Liz has a dance competition in Toronto, so off I go again (6 hours of driving time total each day )

My goddaughter is getting married on Saturday, which is part of the reason Alex came home.

I think maybe by Sunday I can stop and breathe

Then on Tuesday I will be driving to Toronto and back again to take Alex back to the airport.

I think I'm going to need another vacation

Had a busy weekend this last weekend....
Had the whole family over yesterday...and ate way too much...(Story of my life )...
I have a dinner date tonight also...SO I'll be only having salad...

My big plans for the week Mandy...Is laundry and cleaning the house...with all this nice weather we have been having ..my house has suffered....I cant be outside and clean the inside at the same time....BUT today....Im going to try to fix this....

The weekend passed real quickly around here.

First the wedding we went to on Saturday and yesterday we had all the grandparents over for Kentucky Fried Chicken dinner

Today I think I should go and check on my desk at work. I haven't been in quite a while and there may be some important things to take care of.

Dance classes tonight as usual.

Tomorrow I'm headed to Toronto to return Alex to the airport again.

After that I'm not sure what I have to do, although I have tons and tons of things to do here at home.

Anywho... hello everyone!

I've got to make it quick...

CW flew out to Seattle last week for a meeting and got home yesterday. I'm still a little shocked that he went without a fight, didn't like flying in the small planes to the big airports and he didn't like landing

Betsy, good luck with catching up on the inside this week! The grass is growing so fast at home, laundry piling up, and I'm under a weed attack at home... I'll pull one and fifty pop back up

Mandy, the pics look great. I love the one of you and Paul together! What kind of dessert is that? It looks delicious! Tell the girls hello! I know they are looking forward to summer break soon!

Robin, Prayers, thoughts, and hugs for ya! Mom went thru the same thing with my grandfather. It's very hard watching the people you love go thru that. And a very difficult decision for family members to place them in someone else's care! We are all here for you, don't worry... your dad will be fine

Hi Girls

I'm so glad that you had a good weekend

The weather over here has been awful, with so much rain, it really has felt like Autumn

My main plans for this week are that I'm seeing a couple of friends on Wednesday night and we're going to an Italian restaurant for dinner (really looking forward to that) and on Friday morning I am seeing my friend Natalie who I met through the DIS, she's either coming here or we're going for a coffee in town (she's lots of fun and we love chatting about Disney and stuff)

Kelly ~ It's so great to hear from you, I can't believe that CW got on a plane (well done !!) as I know he wasn't fond of flying.

I hope that Jimmy, Chad and Carolin are well, and I bet they're looking forward to the Summer break too. Kerry starts her main exams this week and they go on for about a month - and these will determine what she plans to do at college in the Autumn. It doesn't seem like 5 minutes since she started this school, and now it's nearly 5 years on (aarrgghh, I'm getting old !!! )

BTW the dessert is

A refreshing blend of lemon and lime flavoured sponge, topped with lashings of swirled cream and served in a tall glass

... and it was very nice too

To Toronto and back again for me already today

Hopefully for the last time.

In ten days Alex will be moving back to this area.

Next Thursday I fly out (from closer to home than Toronto) to his area. He's picking me up and I'm helping him pack up and drive his stuff home.

I figured it's a 20 hour drive or so, he could use the company while he does it.

Beautiful hot day here today, risk of severe thunderstorms goes along with that though.
