7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

Hi all

Sorry I've been away for so long. The house is sold (we closed yesterday) and we are now in the RV fulltime. So now I can concentrate (get excited about) the upcoming trip

Mary and I are going to be staying at the Hilton in Port Canaveral on the 6th. Anyone else staying at Port Canaveral?

How neat to stay in Port Canaveral the day before, to wake up and see the ships...

We are staying in Jacksonville and leaving the next morning around 6 a.m. to head to our second home

Tom and I will be driving from Jacksonville the day of the cruise - Robin is Port Canaveral well marked? We're excited about the cruise! I think I know what I'm packing - if anything....I'm packing light. Tinknutt & SWHNN I guarantee will pack heavy!

Yikes!!

This time next week, we will all be starting to make our way over to the ship.

Hopefully by this time, they will be letting us in the terminal! I won't be hard to spot... once the crowd parts a little!

You guys be ready to meet what my kids' friends have nicknamed "Shorty"! They were joking about me taking a headband and cutting out two green circles and making my own green mickey ears

All the sisters (tinknutt, SheWhoHasNoName and I) live outside of the Jacksonville area. We're not quite traveling together. This is a trip with my DH and they are traveling with just the two of them....however, if they have a karaoke night - you'll see ALL THREE OF US!

Looking forward to it! I'll be driving a Black Element, Tinknutt will be driving an Orange Element! It's funny - the sisters are so dis-similar, but we drive matching cars!

How cute! I'll definately be making karaoke night if that's the case!! We are staying off of I95 in Jacksonville at the same hotel as last time!

I'm hoping to get the house completely cleaned from top to bottom and start packing today... wishful thinking

We are staying at the Hampton Inn off of Bulters Blvd. I think the last time we stayed, we ate at a Cracker Barrel

It would be great to meet up in Jacksonville, but we won't be there until way after dinnertime. Since we are smooshing 5 of us into a small motel room and there won't be room to do anything, we don't plan to arrive until it's bedtime. I think I'll need some tylenol pm that night..... I'll be "too excited to sleep!" (I just love that Disney commercial!)

Ahoy Shipmates

Just a quick hello from the Pop Century. We are having a fantastic trip and I can't believe we'll be meeting you all next Sunday

I've just posted this on the UK Community, so you'll know what we've been up to

Hi Gang

We are having a fantastic time, the weather has been great (today it's 81 F),

We are all pretty shattered as we've been getting to the parks for 7am for the EMH's. On Friday we did Animal Kingdom and rode Expedition Everest 3 times. On Saturday we did MGM early and rode RnRc 3 times (as it's going down for rehab in a couple of days) and we rode ToT. Today we got to Epcot for 7am and we rode Soarin' a couple of times and Test Track and then left around 10am for Typhoon Lagoon. We're going to get something to eat now and I'm not sure what we're doing tonight

Anyway I'll check in again soon

We are not parking this time. We have rented a car one way, both ways so that we are not paying to rent the car while it is sitting in the cruise terminal parking lot. We've never done it this way before but there's a first time for everything.

Same here! I know now CW is getting really excited, he's just got done washing and vacuuming (sp?) my van out. He says I need to try and keep it clean until next weekend! With 3 kids??? Plus we live on a shell road...

Hey Guys

I forgot to mention that last night when I got back to my room, a couple of very good friends of mine had sent me a wonderful Disney gift. It was a Pirate hat filled with an eye patch, ear-ring and lovely chocolates

It was absolutely brilliant, I've never received anything while being away and it was such a great surprise - so I am definitely ready for Pirate Night now !!

Is anyone off partying tonight ?? I think we're going to see the UK New Years Eve in at Epcot at 7pm
