Must be the dimples!!! ;) Hee, hee!! It looks like some of the cast from Saved By The Bell have been busy here lately, especially with "Screech" getting into trouble too now!

Kelly - Even I heard about that, now that is one DVD that I don't want to see :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Suzi - Good Luck with your midterms :wizard: :wizard: and welcome to your aunt and uncle - woohoo !! the more the merrier

Wendy - my two used to watch Saved By the Bell too, it was funny to see all those 80's clothes and hair dos

Mandy :)

They have a company come in to take our school pics. I think they are way over priced!! Carolin was sick for her pics and Chad forgot to give them his money, so I guessed we missed out.

I was thinking of letting my BIL take their pics on the beach with sweaters on when it gets cooler. Much cheaper too :goodvibes

I had volleyball last night. That was fun, it always is. Some of those ladies are very competitive, seems like the older they get, the worse they are. It always amazes me how each new season there are always 3-4 new girls who have never played before, not even in gym. (at least they claim they haven't)I enjoy playing, I serve underhand, and I'm short, so I'm not great, but I'm not horrible either, and it's a pretty good aerobic workout. :teeth:

I played for a short while on our school volleyball team! I got kicked off because of my grades (good lesson for all you girls, serious boyfriend + school = trouble :thumbsup2 )!

Like you, I had to serve underhand, height is definately my weakness too :rotfl2: ! But I did love playing... we play at family picnics, I don't know what happened over the years... I stink at it now

Randall attended his first social on Friday evening. From 6-8 the 4-6th grades had a social at the school. They played basketball, limbo, board games, had music going in case they wanted to dance, there were refreshments too. I called him at his dads on Saturday to find out how it went. He had a good time. A lot of his friends had "dates". We told him he was too young to have a date, but if he wanted to hang out with a friend there, that was ok...he did,...his friend Justin! :rotfl:
The money they raise from the social goes to the PTO. It's a pretty easy fund raiser as there isn't much overhead.

Wendy, that sounds like a lot of fun - and you get a good workout too :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I'm glad he had fun!! Girls can wait, tell him he's got plenty of time ::yes::

Robin, your ticker caught my :magnify: ! 39 days and counting.... I'm really excited for you! Where are your stops on this one?

:Pinkbounc I'm excited to go on such a big ship and also a 7 day cruise which we have never done before. Should be fun.

We sail out of San Juan, Puerto Rico with stops in Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten and St. Thomas. We've never been to any of those places either.

I'll be glad to go. I'm getting tired of all of the rain we've been having. Today it is so dark, you'd swear it was early evening instead of morning. :sad2:

I don't play volleyball. Anything with a ball whizzing at me, I don't do :p I have a ball phobia :joker:

When I was looking for the mistake in my checking account the other day, I noticed the US government has cashed my checks for the passports, I'm taking that as a good sign they will be here soon! :cheer2: I sent Randalls check out again last week for the correct amount this time! :teeth:
On the radio Sundays, we listen to a travel guy on talk radio who suggested to people to get those passports now, waiting until November or later will probably be a mistake as they are expected to be backed up at the end of the year and beginning of next year. Anyone who hasn't sent out for their passports yet should really be doing it VERY SOON!!

I think the weather you're having is suppose to come down our way on Friday! I just hope it holds off until after 9:30 pm. Carolin's bday party w/ her friends is outdoors with Christmas lights! I do want to see 20+ kids running around my house w/ muddy feet :guilty:

We'll cross our fingers that they hurry up and get here for ya

My #1 suggestion to you Robin, for the big cruise, is to not rule out the main dining room for breakfast. The buffet places get sooooo crowded because they are so close to the pool. We hardly went near the pool during the busy times, instead we opted to go in the evening if there was a show we didn't care to see. One evening we had the solarium pool to ourselves and shared one of the hot tubs with one other couple. It was warm, and dark and perfect.
#2 don't forget about room service. We forgot about this until late in the cruise and wished we had done it earlier. We had breakfast on the balcony the day before our cruise ended.
#3 check out the little fast food type resturaunt. Their hours are kinda funny, but they have great onion rings and burgers. Perfect place to go on a port day because you can get back to the ship at 2 and go up there and have a late lunch.
#4 You can walk in the morning and earn points to spend on the ship. Different activities such as dance lessons and stuff earn points too, but walking is the easiest.

That is a neat idea! Does anyone know if DCL does that?

No I don't think they do. They sometimes have organized walks around the deck but I don't think you get any credit for it. Maybe a key chain or something :confused3

Wendy, I've heard about the onion rings and burgers and we'll be sure to give that a try.

In all the cruises I've been on, I've yet to use a swimming pool or a hot tub. Just not into that stuff.

I usually do the buffet for breakfast because we don't both tend to get moving at the same time of the day. That way I can just pick up something quick and be done and on to the next activity. I'm also a breakfast eater and Rick is not really.

I think I will try to get to the walks and also some of the dancing lessons and stuff. I need to keep up my exercise so I don't gain back too much

They were just little things like a RCCL keychain or lanyard or something like that, but it was fun. You really had to be diligent to get anything though.
We were not! :sad2:

Boy I'm pretty lazy... my first thought was I'll just buy that stuff :rotfl2:

One day, I would love to take salsa lessons or something like that! I really enjoy watching dance movies like Dance with me and I can't think of it, but the one with Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere. Dance With Me is one of my favs. It's got tons of dancing in it! :dancer:

Well, I gotta go cancel my Gevalia order.
Last Christmas I bought one of those Tassimo coffee makers and you have to buy special t-discs for it. I get gevalia t-discs, and hot cocoa and tea, but I keep forgetting to cancel the regular coffee order so now I have 8 boxes of reg gevalia coffee and no regular coffee maker. Guess my parents will be drinking gevalia for awhile. :teeth:

Robin - I can't believe how quick your cruise is coming round, I'm so excited for you

Wendy - I could eat some of those onion rings right now, I'm starving

Kelly - Did you get Carolin's IPod changed ? My girls are thinking of getting one with their Christmas money from the Florida Mall. Paul has one and he's got some great films downloaded like Pirates of the Caribbean and the Bourne movies (the girls want High School Musical and the Cheetah Girls movies put on it)

Everyone - what are you planning to buy onboard ? Is there something you always buy like a photo frame or christmas ornament ? I usually get a photo album or frame and a T-Shirt

Mandy :)
