We sure did! They knocked off $20 since it had been taken out of the box and put on display! She was extremely happy yesterday, she got her iPod and her cheerleading uniform :goodvibes

Aw bless her :)

I usually buy a tshirt while I'm onboard. Unless there really is nothing that I like but since none of my old tshirts fit, I'm sure I'll find something on this cruise.

I also buy the embarkation photo at the very least. It's kind of like a record of cruises taken and you can see the passing years. One year though they put the wrong date on it :sad2: They forgot to change the year since it was early January. They offered to take them again with the proper year but I didn't bother, just bought the one with the wrong date on it. :p

Everyone - what are you planning to buy onboard ? Is there something you always buy like a photo frame or christmas ornament ? I usually get a photo album or frame and a T-Shirt

Prob the same thing, a 2007 photo album! I still haven't put my pics in the 2005 scrapbook :sad2:

No, we sailed on Tuesday, Jan 4th, 2005. It was a special 4 day sailing of the Magic. It was to reposition it back to it's regular schedule after longer Christmas cruises.

It was our first and only time on the Magic. I was really excited when I saw that cruise listed on the Magic because it was a chance to see that ship and also go on a shorter cruise.

Did you sail on the Wonder on Jan 6th of that year?

For those who have already cruised Disney when was your very first cruise.

Ours was January of 2000 onboard the Wonder.

Our very first cruise was onboard the Carnival's Fantasy in the fall of 1994. It was to celebrate our 15th anniversary.

::yes:: Funny we were out to sea around the same time! Which ship is your favorite?

That was our first cruise! I plan to go broke and spend our kids inheritance on cruising :teeth:

I think I'll sneak over there this week to see if I can get some pictures :cloud9:

Really ?? Do you live that close to it ??

That drydock thread is great, there have been some great photos and some people know so much about what is going on

I look forward to seeing your photos if you're lucky enough to go and see her

Mandy :)

I live about an hour away from there! I go shopping in that area often, so now I'm determined to get back over there ASAP!

I'll let you guys know when I do

I just can't believe I almost missed this... I think they said she came in last night and I'm trying to guess when she'll be leaving

I think she's there for about 2 weeks

Have fun, I'd love to be able to see her, I'll just have to wait for a few months more (3 months on Saturday - woohoo !!)

Mandy :)

Kelly, that would be really neat to see and be sure to take pictures to share with us okay ::yes::

Good news today. My son's girlfriend has a little baby sister :teeth: Now they have 5 boys and 3 girls. I'm not sure of the baby's name yet but Rowan (or something like that has been mentioned)

More good news........ for me anyways :thumbsup2 I'm leaving on Saturday to go and spend a week in Florida :sunny: :sunny: Friends of ours have a time share there next week and have really been after us to go along with them. We've been resisting as best we could but they've been very persistent.

I booked flights today. We are flying out early Sunday morning and returning the next week Saturday evening. I will miss Thanksgiving dinner this Sunday at my mom's BUT I'll be in my favourite place to be. Except that there will most likely be no Disney on this trip. :sad2:

We do have plans to go to Sea World though.

Kelly,
I use to live in Newport News Va....My DH was in the Air Force...We use to go to Norfolk and Va. Beach all the time....

Where do you live if you dont mind me asking...?.
We wondered all over that area of Va....Saw alot of good concerts at the Hampton Roads Mem. arena... :teeth: Learned how to drive in that parking lot too ;)

You travelin fool you!. :cool1: ...Im soo green.. :thumbsup2 ..I know you'll have a great time.... :yay: ...

Robin ~ Another holiday ?? Oooh You are so lucky. Have a great trip, I haven't been to SeaWorld for a few years, so it would be great if you let me know what's new.

I didn't realise that Canadians had a different Thanksgiving Day to the US. I hope you have a lovely day in that Florida sunshine :sunny:

Yes another holiday but if it hadn't been for these friends already going, we would never have done it. But I'm going to take advantage of the situation and enjoy myself :teeth: Maybe I can build up my tan a bit before I go on that cruise.

I will be sure to let you know about SeaWorld. We haven't been there in quite some years ourselves.

The only thing about this trip is that I'm going to have to be careful to get enough exercise and not overeat. I don't want to undo all the weight loss work I've done the past few weeks.

In Canada, Thanksgiving is always the second Monday in October.

Stormy morning here today :umbrella: Did I mention yesterday morning that it was really dark and dreary and rainy here :confused3 Well about noon the weather cleared right up and it was the most gorgeous day, sunny and warm :sunny:

Does anybody have any nonDisney, non Universal theme park ideas of things to do in the Orlando area??
