Its really very nice!...
Mike and I tried and we will be able to use this one in the den( It WILL fit :yay: ..JUST! :woohoo: )
and then we will put the other one (when it gets here) in the foyer..to hang coats on and put mittens and scarves in and the like... :thumbsup2
But they are VERY heavy..So Mike has to get sp. hardware for them...

I am noticing that my medium sized tshirts are starting to fit better now. :woohoo: I'm kind of between a large and a medium. The large is often sloppy and the mediums are often too snug for my taste. :sad2:

:woohoo: :woohoo: Go Robin :woohoo: :woohoo:

Good Morning everyone :sunny:

Well today is MY weigh in day and I lost another lb. :cheer2: FINALLY!
I have to admit though that I have not walked this week yet...I missed my Tuesday...BUT DDIL is suppose to come over on Friday to walk...So hopefully Ill only miss one walking day...

Cute Betsy! I love those shelves! We've been living in our house for over 2 yrs now and I have a long way to go with home decor. I'm trying to finish one room at a time. It's just taking me way too long :guilty:

Yeah Betsy!! We both need to pull our boot straps up and get exercising, I was feeling bad last night about that when DH all of a sudden said to get my shoes and lets get walking. This week I've been busy with choir practice, PTA meetings, and the kids activities are just starting to get hectic again :moped:

How old is DGS? Maybe you can powerwalk thru town :teeth:

Good morning everyone!! How's everyone doing?

I added a pic of the shirt I got also... :thumbsup2 ..

My DGS is only 3 YO..and our town is not really a town so much as collection of a shopping areas, between Parkways and highways...So that is not very much of a possibillity...
Thats OK, I have so many places I can walk, right in my back yard (so to speak)..That I really have no excuse for not walking except time and lazyness..

The pirate shirt is something I've got to start looking for. So much to do....

Plan Carolin's bday party
Plan her 2nd bday (w/ her friends)
Christmas & bday shopping
Get everything together for a baby shower tommorrow
Start working on our company Christmas party
Fall festival for church
Christmas program for church
Thanksgiving

and the most relaxing to me...
the cruise

I need to listen to the Castaway Cay survival kit music :teeth:

TADUM! :hyper: My big news is that my parents gave me an early Birthday Present while they were here! We looked at furniture for my new den and they gave me enough $$$ for a loveseat from the ROOMS TO GO store. I am so spoiled and I'm almost 40!! THey knew I wanted some additional seating for our large den in the new house, but couldn't buy any now because of still owning the old house. They are so generous. I can't believe what they've done!! :yay: It will be delivered by next Monday!!! I have been so blessed. And even without this generous gift, can I just say I treasure my parents. They are some of my best friends and I truly respect them. God was so kind when He chose to give me such a wonderful set of parents.

Another tidbit in my life is that some unknown someone (maybe a new neighbor) mowed the lawn at our new house!!! Wasn't that a nice random act of kindness in this crazy world. Another blessing. :sunny:

I'm so excited that DOUBLE DIGITS are in sight. WHOOWHOOOO. We're all going on a Disney Cruise!!! :boat:

HAPPY TUESDAY EVERYONE!

jennifer

  Sounds like you had a dancing banana kind of day!!

Jennifer what a great gift your parents gave you. My mom gave me home canned jars of tomatoes for my birthday :rotfl2: That's okay because I like them and I use them :)

Kelly, sounds like you've been a busy girl ::yes::

:wave2: Betsy, very nice shelves. I guess you can't put that in the barn :rotfl:

Morning Wendy, what's happening today :confused3

That looks like it'll be a good movie! A night out with DH, that sounds good too! DH & I are getting away from the kids for a day, we are going kayaking with a guy we work with and his wife.

This ought to be interesting. First, he wants to meet us at 8 a.m. (too early on a Sat  ) and second, I have never kayaked before! I should be comic relief for all!
Kayaking is quite easy. You'll be surprised how much control you have over the kayak without exerting too much, and the waters resistance is the perfect workout...Look out calories, you'll be burning oodles of 'em Saturday! :yay:

Morning all! :wave2:
I'm just playing a little spider solitaire (not very well either, I might add. :sad2: ) and trying to catch up! What are you all up to? :listen:

A secret worry I have is that a snake is going to be hiding where I put my feet, I have always been deathly afraid of that with paddleboats and canoes. I know this sounds ridiculous :sad2:

This could happen, so have your husband check the inside of the kayak really, REALLY well before it's launched in the water. 1 person or 2 person kayak? River or lake? :listen:

:scared1: AAAHHH! Maybe not!!

We'll be in 1 person kayaks and on a river that doesn't have alot of current. I think the guy we're going with said it was a R1 :confused3 Does that make sense?
