He's so cute! Where did you get the Golden Mickey? I guess it's a Golden Mickey :confused3

The girls bought it for me from MGM Studios. It has 'Best Mother' on it. I'm sure it's pretty similar to the Golden Mickey's that are sold on the cruise

Mandy :)

How sweet of your girls!! You guys sound like you have a really happy family, that is so awesome :goodvibes

I forgot to tell you about the movie Invincible. It's got Mark Wahlberg (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000242/) aka Marky Mark, his brother is Donnie Wahlberg from the group "New kids on the block" who were popular here in the US in '89-'91 (somewhere around that time frame).

It was a good movie, I thought it would have more football in it. It basically focused on his drive to go from a bartender to a football pro. A nice movie for families with kids 10 years and up! :teeth:

Good grief !! I remember 'New Kids on the Block' though I was a bit too old to be into them :rotfl: I'm pleased that you enjoyed the movie

We're hoping to see another Mark Wahlberg movie soon - 'The Departed'. I only want to see it cos it's got Matt Damon in it (I love him in the Bourne Identity/Supremacy). The girls are going to a birthday sleepover on Saturday so hubby and I are going out for a meal and if we have time see that movie

Mandy :)

That looks like it'll be a good movie! A night out with DH, that sounds good too! DH & I are getting away from the kids for a day, we are going kayaking with a guy we work with and his wife.

This ought to be interesting. First, he wants to meet us at 8 a.m. (too early on a Sat  ) and second, I have never kayaked before! I should be comic relief for all!

Kayaking sounds like fun, though I wouldn't be too impressed with the early start either - I hope you enjoy yourselves

Kayaking is easy...DH just got me a kayak for my birthday....I had never kayaked befor that and I just got in and went... Its super easy...and alot of fun..
very hard to tip over...Ive seen people standing up fishing from them... :thumbsup2

Mandy> I'm not a coffee drinker, but I might have to on that morning :rotfl2:

Betsy> Thanks for the input! I'm worried about making a fool out of myself, I don't know why because I should be use to this by now :teeth:

A secret worry I have is that a snake is going to be hiding where I put my feet, I have always been deathly afraid of that with paddleboats and canoes. I know this sounds ridiculous :sad2:

Great job Robin!! You should stick with that one as your official weigh in! ;)

I love your exercising frog. So cool :thumbsup2

Oh dear, I'm feeling a bit bored now, so I'm checking out the restaurant menus again :thumbsup2

Now I'm really hungry :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The sad thing is that reading about all this lovely food doesn't help when you're trying to live on a lettuce leaf :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Mandy :)

:rotfl: So true!!

Okay, I managed to eat well. I ate a micro-meal (a really micro meal, very small portion  ) and ate a 1/4 cup of fruit. This will probably hold me over for an hour :lmao:

I got groceries this morning.

Liz says grocery day is her most favourite day of the month :rotfl2:

She even made ME lunch today.

Whole wheat bun with thinly sliced blackforest ham, thinly sliced gouda cheese, greens from pre-packaged salad mix and a small dab of ranch dressing. It was very yummy, especially since I didn't have to make it myself :p

I had watermelon too :smooth: and some left over baked beans just cold from the fridge.

Now I want to eat everything that I bought this morning :rotfl:

I am noticing that my medium sized tshirts are starting to fit better now. :woohoo: I'm kind of between a large and a medium. The large is often sloppy and the mediums are often too snug for my taste. :sad2:

Mmmmm Robin - that sounds delicious, and it always tastes nicer when someone else has made it

Can't you tell we're all dieting ? we keep talking about food :rotfl2:

Mandy :)

MANDY -- I love your tree...it gets me in mood for Christmas.

My favorite things about Christmas:
Christmas Eve Church Service full of Christmas Carols and Candlelight

The expression on my kids faces...reflects the wonder of all the aspects of Christmas

Making Cookies...and baking other treats. I like to bake.

Christmas day -- I like that all the shops are closed and everyone basically grinds to a halt for just one day. nice to spend unhurried time with friends and family.

Hello,

I had a very busy day today...
I met my DGF for lunch ( not great for the diet) I went and did crafts with my DGSs, and then took my DGD to her piano lesson...

Then I find a great big pkg..........

I ordered a shelf thats on sale on the disney.com site....a couple of weeks ago.
I find it on my deck where fedex left it....and its much bigger then I thought it would be...Anyway..I open the box and .... man I never expected it to be so huge! Im trying to figure out if this huge shelf will fit where I planned it to go...Then I see its dented..and there are screws rolling around in it...

Its really very nice....except for the size and the dent..

So Im looking for the invoice to see how to send it back...and thinking its going to cost me...No invoice ..the plastic is opened and empty..

Not happy ....So I call and complain...Well he puts me on hold..and Im wondering if they will pay the shipping back...and he comes back and says that hes just going to ship me a brand new shelf.... and I can do what ever I want with the other one, they dont want it back

Now I have to figure out what to do with TWO HUGE shelves

What do the shelves look like :confused3

I'm sure you can find someplace to put it, maybe in the barn :teeth:
