sunny_medford said:Kelly- Wow!! congratulations on your potential New member of the family. I didn't go back enough pages...what's his first name? He's 17? Does he have college plans? I can't express the respect I have for you for taking in someone else's child, especially one who's nearly and adult. Sending p and pd every day for things to work out in time for a smooth, quiet, holiday season and transition through the new year.![]()
Hey Wendy!! Hope you've been doing okay!
We are 99% sure he's being placed with us but on 50% sure they'll allow him to cruise with us
His name is Jimmy and he turned 17 on Sunday!
As for college, he wants to go into the service first, then a college! I'm not sure about that, once he moves in... we will meet with his guidance counselors and talk with him at home about all of his options!I want him to have every oppportunity available like my own kids would!
He's already fitting right in with us ("The Clumsey's - sp?). Last night at wrestling practice he busted his eye open (under the brow) and required 2 stitches and a 4 hour stay in the ER
Seems like we were just there for Chad
Did you do anything nice for Jimmy's birthday ? I hope he enjoyed his day
I miss her.

. Eric made the mistake of saying he could get used to the idea of having a baby around again....
And I'm happy about it. I don't know if I could go back to caring for a little, little baby again. I would if I had to, but I would rather enjoy my neices son when he is born and borrow him every now and then.
DH says a brand new yellow lab puppy oughta do
