Good morning Mandy and jennifer

Its my Thursday lunch day today...So Ill be on the run today...
I cant believe it...but its like 60 degrees out here....rainny but really warm...and incase you all dont know it is normally snowing this time of year....So I am very happy right now...even if it is rainny

Alot of times we wrap my poor DGSs present with Christmas paper, for his birthday ..Mikey's birthday is Jan 1st....and I always have Christmas paper left over , but am hard pressed to find birthday paper sometimes....
He has told me he doesnt care about what its wrapped in ...Just what it is...
Although he may change his mind if it was princess paper....

I have lost my keys so often .. ...and I will normally find them in my front door after looking for them for an hr. ..I get soo mad at myself for wasting that hr... .when if I was more "WITH IT"...They would be where they belong...and I would have done something more productive with that lost hr....
Like reading the boards before I have to go start dinner

Well I better get myself and my DMom ready for the day.....

p.s. You will be pleased to know that I found some lovely Mickey Mouse & Friends Christmas wrapping paper today, and that hubby's pressies are now all wrapped up and put away. So that's my wrapping done, my cards have been written, what's next ?? oh yeah, my Christmas tree is going up a week on Saturday - woohoo !!

We shoot for the tree raising ceremony to take place every Thanksgiving evening! I have to rally the family together as our bellies are stuffed

Kelly - you Americans are so lucky to have a great celebration like Thanksgiving, so you get a holiday, a lovely meal with the family and then go off and sort out your Christmas tree - that is so cool (I really should move to the US)

When we put our trees up, we must take some photos of them and post them here to share with each other

Are you still working hard ? I know my DD (Kerry) is getting ready for some important exams at the end of November/beginning of December, so it is getting busy for her at school too with revision etc

There coming for Thanksgiving. And It's going to get really busy in a few weeks but after I get through Finals I get to go home. they are coming Tuesday and they leave Saturday plus next week I only have classes on Monday and Tuesday.

I've been hoping to have paperwork finalize before I made an official announcement but... CW & I are hoping to have a foster (I dislike that word very much) child move in with us! He has been part of our family for almost a year, visiting with us. He is a wonderful young man and we are very pleased and honored to have him as part of our family no matter what!

It rained so hard here all day yesterday that we have more flooding..in Binghamton...and area...

I was going to go shopping, but Im not sure Id make through some roads...So Ill stay home today..and go with DH in his BIG truck...
His truck is sooo high ..I tell him I have to get a grappling hook just to pull myself up into it ...AND to get out I have to repel...
BUT its nice when you need to go through bad weather...
I STILL like my van better though....

I went through my closet yesterday...and I must really be looking forward to wearing a dress ..because I have bought four of them since I lost my weight...
and I have my eye on another one in a store...
The funny thing is I was worried that I wouldnt have any ...You see all my other dresses were too big for me ..and I gave them all away...
I guess I made up for them though ..I HAVE to get myself out of dress mode.. or thats all Ill be wearing

I have alot of shorts and sleveless shirts....Should I be planning on longsleve and pants too?....I am use to going to Fla in the summer...will I be cold on the ship and WDW...?.....I just dont know what kind of weather to expect....and I already over pack..So Im not sure what to take and what to not worry about...
Anyone with advice?

Hi Betsy!!

I'm packing all short sleeves except for one long sleeve shirt. I'm also taking a jacket (like a hoodie) and sweater just in case. If I see the weather is gonna be cooler than usual, I might pack half and half. I packed one pair of shorts and the rest... oh boy... my mind has gone blank. Those pants that come up to the middle of your calf... what are they called!

Kelly - what a wonderful thing to happen to your family, when are you hoping for it to happen ? will he be coming on the cruise too ? This must be such an exciting time for you all

Betsy - it has been pouring with rain all day here too (though thankfully not flooding) and it really is a miserable day. I'm pleased that quite a few of us will be dressing up during the cruise, I really do love getting dressed up for dinner. We will be taking all sorts of clothes with us to WDW as the weather could change at any time. So we are having to pack Summer clothes, warmer clothes and all our Cruise clothes, so we'll have to take quite a few suitcases with us

Kelly - do you mean Capris or cropped pants ??
