$79.99 Tickets Are Back

just a quick thank you...I logged in to see if there was anything new to get me excited about our trip in May. I ended up getting the $79.99 deal on tickets. You guys are great!:woohoo:

Ended up taking the survey and got the coupon booklet too...not sure if it will be helpful - but can't hurt.

thanks again!

Thanks for the tip, I could get the 79.95 price but could not check out using the posted link, so I tried using The internet explorer route and I got them.

You guys ROCK! I just purchased my tickets for this $79. offer. I couldn't access it at work, but got it at home! Thank you again, :disrocks: :disrocks: :disrocks: :disrocks: :thanks: :thanks:

In the end I have bought tickets from dreams for $85.00 I bought I child and I Adult and this came to £91.00. On my nationwide credit card, I got a conversation rate of $2.010 to the £1.00.

I do think it is very unfair that Universal are asking $117.00 for a park ticket that our American friends are able to buy for around $80.00. I hold an AP as well.

Although on the face of it the flex tickets offer good value of money, if you do Disney as well, they don't as you end up being too tired to do everything. I know I tried to one year, when we had the flex and 5 days hoppers!!! Now we just do a couple of days at universal and this time will not bother with SW, but try the new water park instead.

Bought my tickets last month cause the $79.99 deal was gone for me and go figure since I have them now the $79.99 deal is showing up now :lmao: Oh well just happy to be going no matter the price :yay: :yay:

Just bought our tickets for end of June. Hated to buy this early but what a deal!!!

While many of you don't think the exchange rate should be a consideration, I would be thrilled if I had that backup. I am an American, but I live outside the USA. I am not getting the "American" discounted rate and I also don't get the convenience of a "discount" through an exchange rate either. How is THAT for unfair?

You can still buy them from Dreams Unlimited for $85.99 per ticket. That's only 65 more than the $79.99 on the Universal site and some Americans aren't even getting that rate. Here's a link:

I've already got my tickets for my May trip but I'm seriously considering buying more to hang onto for whenever Harry Potter opens.

FYI, add me to the list of people who can't get the deal at work but it shows up at home! :confused3

Same thing happened to me, I guess at work they may be some firewalls or something that we really can't delete. Glad you were able to get the special, I know I was thrilled to get it myself. :thumbsup2

We just decided to go to Universal instead of Disney this year (love them both, but only time for one), I can't get the $79 price to show up either, any chance someone could post a link? (pretty please)

I made our reservations for april which included the two adult tickets and then had to go on line and order three tickets for the kids...2 park unlimited and printed off the tickets..do we have to carry this piece of paper around for all of the park visits? This is our first trip to Universal. We are usually Disney goers and used to using the hotel key as our tickets to the parks...this seems like we check in with the paper tickets every time we come in....any help is appreciated...

If you aren't staying onsite, the piece of paper IS your park ticket. You can go to Guest Services and have them exchanged for "regular" tickets if you prefer.

Do you think Universal might not honor the tickets once Harry Potter opens, or make you pay the difference between $79 and whatever they bump their admission prices to? I know after a while "non expiring" Disney passes become outdated and you need to fork over some extra money to update them.

We are staying at the PBH so do we turn the paper in when we check in and they will give us tickets or do our room keys work like they do in Disney and act as tickets?

My guess would be "no" as there is no expiration date on the ticket.
