$79.99 Tickets Are Back

We are staying at the PBH so do we turn the paper in when we check in and they will give us tickets or do our room keys work like they do in Disney and act as tickets?

They won't attach the tickets to the room keys as the hotels are owned by Loews and not Universal (at least that is my undertanding). I would not like paper tickets either so I would go to guest services at the parks and exchange them for regular size tickets. My advice when ordering on line is to opt for electronic pick-up at the parks as those kiosks are quick, easy and spit out regular tickets. Guest services usually has a line that takes a long time.

Your room key acts like your express pass for the rides not your park tickets as Metro said you will have to take that to guest service window at the entance to either park to get the regular tickets or use the print out as your tickets at the turnstiles but I suggest getting the regular tickets cause less hassel than the big peices of paper :thumbsup2

Do you think Universal might not honor the tickets once Harry Potter opens, or make you pay the difference between $79 and whatever they bump their admission prices to? I know after a while "non expiring" Disney passes become outdated and you need to fork over some extra money to update them.

I have never heard anything about paying extra money for "non expiring" Disney tickets after some time to update them. I thought "non expiring" meant exactly that.:confused3 What amount of time does "non expiring" cover?

I bought a couple of tickets on Friday, but I haven't gotten an email yet. Is this normal? I printed out my confirmation page--is that the ticket?

Did you purchase the print at home or electronic pick up:confused3

Print at home . . . My trip isn't even until August 2009, so I thought that would be best.

Check your spam mail. That's where I found my confirmation email. Then I just clicked on the link and printed them out.

Look for an attachment (a pdf. file) in your confirmation email. You need to click on that.

That's the thing, I never got an email. There was a confirmation page after purchase, but no email. :(

OMG--there it was, along with several other emails that aren't spam. Thank you! (I know that was the obvious answer, but I've never had this problem before. I searched earlier, but nothing came up until I manually scrolled through my bulk folder. Guess the search function doesn't even look there or something, since "universal" was in the title of the email.

Thanks to everyone. :goodvibes

Glad you were able to find it. :thumbsup2
