I think she is a very cool character. I honestly have never seen it in written form before. So I assumed it was spelled like it sounded. I fell in love with her in Wandavision, which was the best of the Marvel streaming shows to me. I think the character is really cool. I also think Wada is a great character. She scares the heck out of me with her unpredictable powers. So troubled and so conflicted......just a perfectly written character. I hate they screwed her up recently.

Yep, I did hate that movie. I thought is was bad, but that is because I despise Brie Larson. Sorta like you hating Top Gun because you hate Tom. Love Monica Rambo though, so I have high hopes for her character.

Literally it takes you just a few minutes of reading to peg most of the people on here. It isn't very hard to realize this forum represents a very niche subset of the population and most of them are pretty much aligned completely on most culture war topics. The people who are a little more moderate, don't say much....other than me of course. They lurk in the shadows.......and send me a PM occasionally. The illusion ends up being just exactly what people want nowadays......."my thoughts are all good and the correct thoughts".

People come here feel good about themselves and to have their existing preconceived notions approved by others who think nearly identically to them. If you don't agree you will get called names, like I do.

I have tried to watch it about 4 times. fell asleep twice on long flights trying to watch it. I have seen most of it, I guess? Started it a few times at home, and couldn't get through it. Just found myself playing on my phone and stuff as I just couldn't really get into it. I have likely made it through it all at least once I think, but maybe just the sound as I wasn't paying much attention.

Then they question why the crowds are low or why Disney movies are not turning profits anymore. This trend will continue until they learn that not everyone has to accept them or until they stop shoving agendas down people’s throats.

And I agree most are on the sidelines afraid of this mob that’s ready persecute anyone who doesn’t follow or disagrees. Very sad time we are living in.

I would say that this forum represents pretty mainstream thought - which is that we don't really care about any of that nonsense at all. I myself am quite moderate, but you mpaint me as extremely on one side, because I don't agree with you on stuff. You're the one who brings it up all teh time - most of the time we just talk about rides we like and whine that the food is too expensive.

No, this was a news thread about Pixar employees that has now been drug into the same thing that the LucasFilm thread has become, which is nothing news related. This thread has now derailed into Marvel and Star Wars.

The Disney stock is getting wrecked. Their streaming is getting wrecked. Park attendance very low. The movies are not even profitable.

If I was on their board I would fire everyone making these decisions. The Pixar staff was rightfully fired they have more to fire.

Just wait for these next live action to come out lol it’s a lose lose lose situation for Disney until the board gets replaced and they gut all the leadership driving divide into their “Entertainment”.

Pixar needs to go on its hands and knees to John Lasseter, there is not enough imagination or decision making prowess on the current staff to turn it around. Iger is probably going to roll Pixar and Disney animation into one group and continue to cut the staff down to right size it. I don't want to see that happen, as Pixar made some of my absolute favorite stuff from years past.

My biggest hope is Wish can be good and a return to form for Disney Animation. It looks solid, but I just hope they don't put any SJW crap in it to drive away a subset of the customer base. Disney needs all fans right now, we cannot afford to drive any away.

Bingo!! He needs to cut whoever is signing off on these decisions and cut everyone that cannot produce a single original idea instead of butchering these remakes.

IMHO it’s getting to the point where it might be too late for a turn around for Disney. Some of these consumers will no longer will support this company even if they flip it back.
