While on my Disney cruise my 7 month window will open and that is our Castaway Cay day. Will I be able to get wi-fi at Casraway Cay to make or modify a reservation? Would the DVC reps on board the ship be able to help me do it?

Probably not on the island, but you should be able to onboard. The DVC website is one of many Disney websites that can be accessed using the ships wifi without needing to purchase an internet package.

The DVC reps onboard aren't able to assist with Member Services tasks. I haven't tried using the ship's WiFi to access the DVC site. If you have data access in the Bahamas on your cell phone, that will work on Castaway Cay.

I'm not sure what a 7 month window is, but I had a friend on our cruise in May who's booking for the next cruise opened while we were on-board, so they got a day of complimentary wi-fi to be able to do the check in, after they asked at Customer Service.

OP is talking about the DVC 7-month window, when owners can book at resorts they don't own. For some villas it can be highly competitive, kinda like initial booking day for highly desirable cruises, and they don't want to lose their chance to get the villa they want!
