Hi Suzie & Carol,
I'm still here! Our flight leaves 7:00 Saturday morning, arriving 10-something in Orlando. I sure hope it isn't delayed. We have to leave at 4:30 am for the airport :faint: . It'll be lights out early Saturday night, for sure. And we have the late seating!
Isn't it always the way with kids and illness  right when you're going somewhere? Hope DD gets better quickly Suzie. And Carol...ohmygosh, what a scare. Glad you put them in their place!!! :goodvibes
Listen, stay well, Godspeed to you both and we'll all meet up at the port. I'm packed and all I have left to do is a quick dust and vacuum, shine up the bathrooms and we're off....
Linda

Linda...I'm still here too.....You forgot me! I think we live closer to the port than anyone, so we won't be leaving til around 9am Sat. I have my day cut out for me...packing etc. I wish all I had left to do was dust and vacuum :guilty:

Got a good nights sleep last night with no trip to the ER. Fever broke about 1 this morning and all seems to be well this morning. Yes, we did sleep until 8:30 and it felt really good!!!!

Thanks for all the well wishes, now I can get down to worrying about packing, etc. Did I get everything? "Everything but the kitchen sink" DH says! Yeah, I guess I do tend to overpack, but what if I really need it?!?!

Will check in later to see what's still going on! Hugs to everyone in these last hours! Can you believe it's finally almost here?!?!?!?! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Sorry, Susie...gosh, how are we going to remember names once we meet? :confused3 Oh, that's right...James' buttons!!! pirate: I've definitely got that perimenopausal, early onset Alzheimer's, whatever you want to call it, disfunctional memory disorder. :rotfl2:
Glad to hear DD's feeling better, Suzie. Lucky you, so close!!! :earboy2:
Well, I've still got one quick trip to the drycleaners to pick up my ever-versatile black slacks. DH has to mow the lawn when he gets home. That's the extent of his prep. DSs have to get their backpacks together when they get home from school. Some schoolwork and the ever present CD players and CDs. I'm down to one list to check over last minute. Dusting is done. Bathroom's clean. Still have to vacuum. I wouldn't even bother except my catsitter is a neat freak.
I'm a notorious overpacker. They say that the more you travel, the better you get at NOT overpacking. Hmmmm....we've travelled a lot. I'm just finding packing for the cruise to be a lot more because of formal, semi-formal, pirate nights, daytime outfit, dinner outfit, etc. Anyone agree??? One thing I've got to say though is I was planning on four suitcases and ended up with five, HOWEVER, you can actually close them. I usually have to sit on them to close them so we'll definitely have room for souvenirs. No money for souvenirs, mind you, but room. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
My family is not dressing in lime green for the trip. Actually, I'm wearing a red print short and campshirt outfit with a kind of lime green tank top but everyone else will be wearing Notre Dame shirts. Do you think we're just a little proud of DS17? :love1: I've made up luggage tags with the green mickeys and put them on everything, including carryons. :rolleyes2 :rolleyes2 :rolleyes2
Signing off til we meet...absolutely, can't wait. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
:wave2: Linda

Great news about your DD Suzie :cheer2: Yes Linda, that perimenopausal, alzheimer's syndrome has me too! Give me a couple drinks and I might be in real trouble! :rotfl2:
I have NEVER packed SO MUCH for a trip in all my life. You are right, b/c of the different themes, not to mention daytime and nightime clothing. It will take me a month to unpack we we get home.
My dh also the the duty of mowing the yard this evening. Hmmm.....I think we get the short end of the stick huh? He is a super-fantastic husband/dad, but I told him last night that I don't think he has a Blue's Clue as to the time and energy this packing has taken :rolleyes1
I do have ONE suitcase packed. All the other stuff is laying there, just waiting for me
Will check back in later to see if you all are still around. Gosh...I am SO excited :Pinkbounc  :cool1: :hourglass :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I am sitting her on the bed in the room at the Radisson on the laptop, I kno I know I changed my mind on the room :rotfl: We are scheduled for the 10:00am shuttle to the port.. We went by and talked to Shirley and Norm the Perfect Gift and must tell every one this person is an example of compassion and understanding for her fellow DIS-ers.. :worship: Went to Ron Jons earlier so the DW could fond some flops and me some Cussies for the bottles...I sat out by the pool trying to figure out if I could recognize anyone from the group but, couln't :smooth: See all of ya soon. James

Hi all :cool1:
I don't know about you guys b ut I call it SOMETIMERS :rotfl: Glad to hear your daughter is doing better.. Be safe all  James

Can I just say that I'm jealous that you're even in Florida, much less at the pool?!? The high today was only 55 and it's a bit chilly! Yuck! Can't wait for that FL weather! 12 hours and we'll be on our way to Dulles Airport! OMG! WOOHOO!!

Hi Suzie :cool1:
It has rained on the west coast of FL for several days and today after travelin over to the port it has been cloudy and windy all day.. The forecast for coming week is for sun and hopefully this will follow us into the western carribean.. You will have to forgive me Suzie as I think I mispelled your Button as SuzieVa..I kind of feel like the Rabbit going down the hole with the posket watch out I'm late-I'm late :rotfl: See Ya tomorrow..James

Checking in one last time for those poor souls that doing leave until later today or tomorrow.

We got here yesterday to pouring rain. Haven't seen that much rain since we lived in St Louis :umbrella:

We hit Ron Jon's yesterday. Couldn't believe how BIG that place was. We went to the Cocoa Beach pier today and the kids enjoyed playing in the water, but I was freezing my butt off :cold: I hope tomorrow it's warmer :sunny:

I'll be looking for Linda's Fighting Irish family!!!

That's quite alright. Don't sweat the small stuff, James! Bummer about the weather but I guess we'll all have to make do with what we get....it's a tough job but someone has to go on this cruise... :rotfl:

Other than the cosmetics, etc. we are all ready! The Suburban is packed for the airport, snacks are ready for the plane, clothes laid out for tomorrow....can you tell I'm type A?

Can't wait to see everyone! Look for me, I'm the blonde with the silly looking grin on her face and crying her eyes out with the Mickey heads on her luggage! I'm just so excited!!

Hi James and Tera! You guys are close to me now (only an hour away :Pinkbounc ) Yes indeed...this weather stinks!!! So much for my tan before the cruise. I heard it will be chilly the next couple mornings, but then sunny and warm close to 80  I am ALMOST packed. Just need to find room for the blender now :rotfl2: Suzie....pixie dust to you and your family for a safe trip down :wizard: Is DD better now?

Tori is doing great now!! Like nothing ever happened - except for a runny nose. Thanks for asking!

Trying to get a early night's sleep tonight but it's a little like the night before Christmas as a little kid! :cloud9: :Pinkbounc :cloud9: :Pinkbounc :cloud9: :Pinkbounc

Hey Everyone!!!

We're at the Courtyard Marriot by the airport tonight and have a 6:00am flight home tomorrow :earseek: One of our carryon's got left at the port when we loaded into the limo this morning :earseek: Disney had it sent to the airport on one of their buses so Nick went to go pick it up. That is the bag that has all our souviners and pictures, so I would hate to lose that one.

It was so wonderful meeting everyone :flower: I think we had a great DIS meet and thank you James for all the wonderful buttons and other goodies you brought. For those of you that we didn't hook up with, we missed you :guilty:

I can't wait to get home and start working on my trip report. Nick downloaded over 1,000 pictures that I need to still go through. It's a good thing I picked up another photo album onboard. It was very sad leaving this morning and we hope to book another one sometime soon. Of course we're going on vacation with LostGirls and her family in two years since they are the luckiest people I've ever met :earboy2: :earboy2:

I look forward to reading everyone's trip report and seeing pictures. :teeth:

Hi Everyone! Well we are back home! Sorry I missed meeting most of you! It was great meeting Theresa, James, and Goofy2. Theresa - you and nick owe us a rematch on that volleyball game! ;)

~Amanda

Hey Everyone,
It stinks to be home. I really enjoyed meeting everyone. I think it made the trip that much more fun.

Teresa,
When you go through your pictures, if you have any of pirate night ( especially of Rob) could you e-mail me some. I'm home a couple of hours and already doing stupid things. (Like washing film in pants pockets.) :confused3 I had a great time. Thank Jess for spending time with Kennedy. She was really good with her. I never did get you that drink. I still owe you big. We just need to meet again, so I can buy you one. :cheer2: Did you book again?

Lynn,
Had a great time with you and your family on the sting ray trip We'll need to see if we have the wrong camera's. I can send you pictures any way. We'll keep in touch. Did you book again?

James,
Thanks for setting up the meets and the brunch. I really enjoyed it.
I have your card, so we can keep in touch. You only live across the bridge.

It was great meeting you all. I'm going to miss everyone. I feel like I've known you all for ever. Can't wait to everyone is back, so we can reminisce on our trip. Talk to you all soon.

Debbie :wave2:

Amanda - Glad to see you made it off the ship alright. I was actually surprised how painless the dembarkation was :teeth: I was hoping for that rematch on Castaway, but never saw anyone at the volleyball area. We did see you and DH (Brian?) at Serenity. Had a good time? :sunny:

Debbie - I'll definitely send pictures. I'm sure I had to get some of you guys. When you talk to Deb, have her pm me with Marisa's address for Jessica.

Jessica had a great time playing with Kennedy. I wish the Stingray excursion would have been less windy, but oh well :confused3 I'll be counting on that drink next time ;) We did not book onboard, but Nick is already talking about doing a trip without the kids. Not sure how well THAT will go over with them. I'd still like to plan our WDW trip for 2 years, so we'll have to see how it goes. I need to start playing the lottery :rotfl:

Hi All! I'm back home and going through post cruise depression. The drive was very painful and I won't be doing THAT again any time soon. Did anybody rebook? We rebooked for the November 11, 2006 (double castaway cay stops). I don't know how I'll make it a year and a half ! Well, time to start a new countdown clock.
How about the thread live from the Magic on the 14 nighter? Isn't it painful? They are in Castaway Cay today.
Okay, back to salads and sit ups after I unpack the car and spend 2 days reorganizing!
Sorry I didn't chat with most of you very much. It's hectic with 3 kids pulling me in different directions but I really enjoyed the cruise meet. Sorry I forgot the balloons. I'm lucky I remembered all of my kids!
Keep in touch!

I cried on the last day too! That show REMEMBER THE MAGIC made me cry because I'm a big fat baby! I just LOVE IT. Are you all going to rebook? come with us November 11, 2006. We'll have 18 months to chat!

I'm so sorry that we got mixed up for the day on the get together! I'm really bummed because I really wanted to meet everyone! I did however meet James and D. Anne - what a great couple! Thanks for the pins, James. I still owe you a drink! I'll call you when we get to Palm Harbor again! Would love to meet up with you guys for dinner or something!

Met Iowa6 at the next table from us! Cute kids!

Tera - was wonderful (should I say MAGICal?) to meet you! Great to be able to put a name to a face!

Lynn - your daughter was really cute and I had a great time talking to you at the pirate party! Sorry I didn't run into you again, DD would have loved to played with your DD!

Donna - was wonderful to meet you! Congrats on the little bundle coming!

Bratray - didn't meet you but I saw your handsome son quite a few times on Pirate night!

Oh, how I miss the ship, but I still do feel it moving! Anyone else?

Our plane trip home was delayed 4 1/2 hours because of a stupid tire! They ended up having to fly a tire from DC to Orlando! Finally got home at 8:30 exhausted and soaked! Rain storm from hell, ugh!

So much of a good time but glad to be home in my bed with my pillows and my shower. We're already trying to look at times for a second cruise next year or 2007 to go with our friends. Ahhhh, the planning begins again...
