Grand Cayman update:
"No hotels are open on the island, and no tourists are allowed only residents and, starting Monday, visitors who can produce proof they have business on the island.
The first cruise ship will stop in four to six weeks. And already, downtown George Town looks like almost nothing happened."
Info about Grand Cayman:
"Grand Cayman is an odd island for the Caribbean.
Country music, not calypso, plays in bars and restaurants. Dolly Parton is the most revered of visitors, except for maybe Tom Cruise, but that was only because he was so friendly.
There is very little crime, and most people are employed.
It is odd in another way: This tiny speck of sand has more than 500 banks and trusts.
It is the fifth-largest banking center in the world behind New York City, London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Last year, $1 trillion in assets were booked through Cayman banks."
