Hi,
Well, we survived another one here! I did not sleep at all on Saturday night (dd and I were in the bathroom). This one sounded worse than Francis. But, kept power 12 hrs. longer than I did with Francis so I could see what was coming on the radar! Lost power 9pm Sat. night. It was really bad from 10pm-4am. I saw FL Power and Light trucks roll down my street at 1pm on Sunday and I had power on at 2pm! With Francis, I didn't have power for 4 days! However work does not have power.....maybe until Friday! School doesn't have power either. Lost lots more shingles and a big tree branch. Luckily the branch avoided houses and fences. The good thing is that there is less downed trees....Francis took them down earlier.

Lost power Sunday for 13 hours. lost all in the freezer and fridge except what I put in coollers. oh well.. no damage to the house.. I take that back my one air unit messed up when power spiked several times. AC repair came out today with hefty repair bill for thermostat unit. If thats all I got thats ok.. Good to hear you and all are ok there..Coulod have been a lot worse. I sure hope this is the last for the season

It is hetting pretty bad now. I have 10 door magnets made up, and bussines cards along with thank you cards and tip envelopes. I have downloading new navigator's, tip calculator etc... I really think the fever is getting to me.. I have even starting collecting items for packing. The wife and kids think I have Disney on the brain, and I think they are right. Just wanted to say Hi

I'm so excited......no hurricane this weekend! The tropics are quiet...knock on wood!

James- Why do you have 10 door magnets? Are they all different?
You mentioned having business cards....what kind of business do you have? Are the thank you cards for the end of the cruise when tips are given out?

Like I said before, the only thing I am focused on collecting for the cruise right now is money! Last cruise I only had three months to prepare and I was in a frenzy. I took everything I could possibly ever need and the kitchen sink. I don't think I'll do the same for this cruise.

I have done all the art work for the door mgnets and yes I have done 10 different ones. I have only bought one package of magnet paper so far-- at walmart with 5 in a package. I still have not printed up any yet. I am a retired firefighter/paramedic and I made cards with my name/cell/and e-mail info to hand out when I meet someone on the cruise.. I her you about the weather, I just got back to the house from a local bike night.Didn't win tonight but, won best of show lst night at another bike show location. I am just excited about the wife and I getting away by ourselfs. I will not pack nearly as much as last time though. I picked up some space bags today and it worked. See ya later

That's a good idea about the name cards. I might do that too. Do you do that on your computer?

What kind of bike do you have? A Harley? Congrats on the best of show.

I would like to get a new piece of luggage. Mine is so heavy....when it's empty. They now make lighter luggage.

I did the cards in print shop20 on the computer. I went to a couple of Disney sites and downloaded fonts and some clipart. If you get the program (I got it cheaper at Sam's) I can e-mail you what I have done for the magnets card etc.. so you can customize your own. We tried one of the space bags last night and placed a pillow in it then rolled the air out of it and it was pretty flat, it should provide a lot of room in the luggahe. I have a 01 Harley Road King Classic (her name is Lucille) When I reach the point of Dis Vet I can post a picture of her..

Sorry about that I will try and be more gender sensitive hehe. We will surely have a DIS meet on the ship when the time comes (Thinking out loud). Getting lots of good info through some communications on this board, Can't wait for the day. Just went to the dollar store looking for pirate outfit but, they didn't have any. There is a holloween store next door with all types of gear and costumes which will close starting Nov. 1 and sales will happen!
