Momeska, "Bump" just moves the post to the top of the message board. So it's easier to find, or if you're not getting a response to a question, etc. it moves to "the front of the line" so it stays on the first page.

James, hope you're O.K. I haven't seen you post in awhile.

I was thinking the same thing. Hope your ok! I thought maybe you were just listening, and waiting for something good to come up.

Well I got some of the packing done. My family thinks I'm crazy.
They told me, "lets see how long, you can go without talking about it". Well I didn't last too long( probably about 3 seconds).They started screaming.
OH well! stinks to be them. I'm having fun !!!!!!!!!!!!! Just can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

The next two weeks will probably be the LONGEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Bratray - I ordered some skull blinkie lights from Oriental Trading for the kids for Pirate Night. Figure it'll be easier to spot our group in the crowd

I'm thinking James is enjoying that lovely Florida weather on his bike

I think we are actually all packed, besides the odds & ends (bathroom stuff). My girls still need a couple pairs of flip flops, but I think I have almost everything else

Just realized something and I'm alittle concerned

Cozumel is Pirate Night, right?

We're doing the Fury Catamaran Sail, Snorkel & Beach Party which is scheduled to leave at 12:30 and runs 4 to 4 1/2 hours. I'm concerned that we won't be back in time for our early seating. I don't want to miss our Pirate Night dinner.

Anyone know or should I ask on the main board????

Hi all
Tera was right about the weather and riding the bike.. I have changed the rims and done some other neat things to it in the last month also.. I am now trying to get on antibiotics for a sore on the bottom of my foot after going to the podiatrist for maintenance as I am diabetic.. I have had 2 bouts with osteomilitis(bone infection) from the same foot.. When I went of Disney in 2002 I was severely limited in mobolity due to this.. I have been in bed for 3 days and probably will be for a week or so-- poor Lucille is pining away in the garage for me... Can't wait to see all of you soon. We are coming up probably the day of embarkatin since we only live 3-4 hours away.. James

Hope you get well soon, James.

I got the cast off my foot today, but I have to keep it wrapped, keep wearing the special boot and using the cane, and keep icing it. Then I have to call the Doctor in a week unless it gets worse before then.

Only 19 days to go now! I am still hoping I will be all better before the cruise, but I am starting to get really worried. It has been seven-plus weeks since I fell down the stairs and hurt it.

P.S. DH filled out our documents yesterday!

Date of arrival would be 5/13 (for Castaway Cay, right?)

City boarded would be Port Canaveral?

Intended stay (nights)?

Type of Accommodation? Other?

Hotel Name or Intended Address? Disney Magic or ?

and a first time Disney Cruiser here. Love the website and appreciate all of the helpful information posted here.

We'll be on DCL's May 7, 2005 Western Cruise and are looking forward to it. It will be my wife, 2 daughters (4 and almost 2), my mom, my brother, my brohter-in-law and my mother in law. We are excited to making the trip east and enjoying the cruise. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible.

OKAY, I found most of the summer clothes. The kids closets are set. Now I just have to locate MINE and I have 17 days to do it.
And I'm taking my DF's Grumpy shirts because we're driving down for 20 hours straight. UUUUGGGGHHHHHH!
AND I LOST MY DRINKING PARTNER (DONNA)
While I'm thrilled about the baby and new neice or nephew..... "the girls night out" plan just won't be the same if I'm drinking alone. (And I'll need a few after 20 hours in the car with DH, DF and 3 kids!!!!!!!!)

It sounds like this cruise is turning into a Handicapped Cruise. DH is going to the Dr. on Friday because his foot is bothering him and DS17 went for an Xray of his knee yesterday because he hurt it playing lacrosse. He had surgery on that knee three years ago. Fortunately, the Dr. thinks it's just a bone chip pressing on a tendon and the treatment will be rest. How come we moms never have anything happen to us where the treatment is rest???
I'm attempting to pack but the problem we are running into here is that the seasons are changing and we're starting to need summer clothes. Plus, DS13 grew like a weed and nothing fits! This cruise is turning into a money pit! Cruise is all paid for but then the shopping for it takes over.

Welcome Auercat! This is a fun group. A little roudy, perhaps, but fun.
Rachel...God bless you driving down. I don't think I could do it anymore. I'm not a good passenger. We're flying down Saturday morning early. DS13 has to be sedated to fly. He absolutely refuses to fly since 9/11. The Dr. told us this is very common with young people because it was plastered all over the tv 24/7. She said they will give him a mild sedative to take before the flights. Of course, he's telling everyone that we're drugging him. Gotta love teenagers!!! You'll all see one day!!!
Hey, nobody responded to my question a while back. Doesn't tan flab look better than white flab??? Please tell me you all don't look like supermodels.

AWWW POOR BABY?????

I love the nickname butterball! That is to cute! When my friend was pregnant we called her baby Ratief for the longest time. I'm not sure where we got that name, but that was what she was until she was born. Currently my other friend is having a peanut
