7/25/2013 Med. Mickey's 12 Night Italian Job - with Nice, Valletta and Dubrov !

As Gold Castaways, we were just able to book our Port Adventures and Palo Reservations. Happy to say all of our first choices were available. Will check availability for Palo and Port Adventures and post soon.

Palo Brunch is offered on Sea Days (Days 6, 10 and 12) at 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, noon and 12:30. As of now, all except 11:00 and 11:30 on Day 6 are available.

Palo Dinner is offered every evening at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 and 8:30. As of now, all except 8:30 on Day 4 (Rome), 7:30 on Day 5 (Naples), 6:00 & 7:30 on Day 6, and 7:30 on Day 10 are still available.

As was mentioned in a previous post, Day 9 (Dubrovnik) is Pirate Night.

Availability for Palo is still very good.

No sold out dinner slots and brunch slots are available on all three offered days, on Day 6 (first sea day) there are now only 3 timeslots remaining open but on the other days all slots available.

For dinner there are 6 booking times generally available and on most nights all are still available. Day 4 (Rome) has no availability at 8:30pm but all the rest of the slots are open. Day 6 (At Sea & Formal Night) has 4 time slots open - 6pm and 7:30pm are no longer available and Day 10 (At Sea & Semi Formal) has 5 time slots open and only 7:30pm is fully booked.

As far as excursions go the following appear to be sold out:

Rome - The Roman Art Mosaic Workshop with Wine & Cheese
Venice - Venice By Private Boat 4 Hour Motor Launch with Private Guide (Both Days)
Venice - Venice By Private Boat 8 Hour Motor Launch with Private Guide (Day 8)

For everything else there is at least some availability. I booked the Scenic Cruise & Beach Time in Dubrovnik - the only time offered was 1:15pm - 6:15pm so I don't know if that had an earlier departure that is now full but anyway, good availability for nearly all port adventures. Interestingly I had 7:30pm dinner at Palo booked and it made me change it as our excursion was due back late afternoon - It let me book 8pm. (We are not big lovers of the Pirate Night menu so usually book this for Palo.

I did my online check in too. Port Arrival Times available from 11am onwards.

I hope this was helpful.

I couldn't figure out how to easily check the availability of Port Adventures.

If you're considering going to the spa on a sea day, you should probably book right away. For example, on the first two sea days (days 6 & 10) a Swedish massage is only available at 8:00 am or 7:00 pm; 9:15 am, 4:30 pm & 5:45 pm are already sold out.

Just booked Treasures of Herculaneum - one time slot only, 1245. Did notice that the absolute spa is sold out on Rome day. Went to do my other admin stuff & got an internal error followed by a message saying site was undergoing maintenance:mad: Will have to try again after breakfast

OOOOOOkay!!!

I had this great FE spreadsheet and then forgot that you can not post documents to these forums. :badpc:

You can, however, share a google doc. So.....I moved my spreadsheet into a google doc which I tried to move into my signature.

People "should" be able to view it when they click on it. I'm still working on the "techy" aspect of this.

Please let me know if you can see it when you click on it. If not, please tell me what it says. IE: Does it say you need to get permission from me or something like that.

Thank you. :thumbsup2

Hi Pixie3
At the risk of messing up your spreadsheet can you count our family in to the FE? We're somewhere on deck 6 but I'll let you know which number when I can put my hands on it. I can't PM yet as haven't got enough posts. What do you need to know for the spreadsheet?!

Thank you for the great information about the excursions and Palo reservations! The time and effort is appreciated! What is the age cut-off for Palo? And dumb question, where do your kids eat when you eat at Palo?

UKSwans, check post #363 for FE info.

Thanks for all the information everybody. Another two weeks before we can book. I should have sent my DW and DD on another 3 day cruise, it would have bumpbed them to gold status (and, thus, our cabin). Might have been worth it.

Glad everybody got what they wanted so far. Almost at the 100 day point. Time is going fast. Spending time on the treadmill trying to get into walking shape. At this point, round is still the shape I'm in, and rolling around Europe just doesn't sound appealing.

We were able to get everything we wanted even an early port arrival time but Palo on pirate night. They had openings but the both coincided with our excursion because they were earlier times. You might have an easier time with that night if there is just two of you. Realized an advantage to not working I was able to sleep in after being up to almost one o'clock. Have a great day everyone!

For those who can already book port adventures....

Are there more details available for the rome port adventure with visit of vatican and 4 hours free time.... I would like to know if there are timings available when we will arrive in rome and when the visit of the vatican is scheduled.....:confused3

Assuming you are referring to "Exclusive Vatican Museums And Sistine Chapel With Rome On Your Own," the only time listed is 8:15. I don't see any reference as to when you will be at the Vatican but the description indicates it will be just before you return to the port.

Hi, my family and I will also be on this cruise...very excited now it's getting closer, it feels like an age since we booked it :)

We have 2 rooms one with DM and DD in and one with me and my DS in. Both my and my sister are older now, but we enjoy travelling with family still :).

This will be my family's second Disney Cruise around the Med, however it will be my 5th. I've done 3 and 4 night Bahamas, relocation Barcelona to Dover and 7 night Med.

We are all super excited :)
