Hope all is OK Andrew.

This is the first I've heard of ADR's on line. That would be fabulous. I'll check out the dining board to see if there's any word.

I cannot seem to find HOW to access online ressies for ADR's. I guess it's too early in the morning. :upsidedow

Anyone know?

And GOOD MORNING to you too, Robert.

It is on disney.com first go to the site choose parks choose WDW look down at the bottom for dining & click then click on more on the top left & choose a restaurant (oh I think you have to sign in or set up a profile as well):dance3::headache:

Hi all!!

Andrew, glad your eyes are ok:thumbsup2 Be careful, Cheryl was just posting on facebook how she had something go wrong with her eyes (a detached retina:confused3) she was seeing bright flashes of light. Luckily they caught it in time and she is fine now.

Well, I finally did something I've been meaning to do for years. I'm taking piano lessons:woohoo:
So far I can play Ode to Joy and Jingle Bells:goodvibes
We had an old keyboard that we bought years ago for my DS. Now he plays clarinet in marching band. My DD is taking guitar lessons. I keep trying to convince my DS and DH to pick instruments like drum or bass so we can start our own band :dance3:
Like the partridge family:idea:

Joann, we are also cruising in July. A 4 day leaving July 11th. Leaving the kids behind this time as we are celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary.

We were married July 19, 1992. Our first DCL cruise was our 10 year anniversary in 2002.

We 're actually thinking of not having dinner in the dining rooms this time (letting them know when we board so they don't save us a seat).
Not sure.
I've heard good things about dinner on deck 9 (Topsiders/Beachblanket).
Anyone else done that?

On the Eastbound Canal cruise we ate at Topsiders on crossing day. We had a great window seat, dining during the final part of the crossing as the sun went down. It was not crowded at all.

The service was great - I think they use it as a training tool for future wait staff. The food was as good as the dining rooms I thought.

Be aware: you're more likely to see groups of kids or teens dining alone.

We are not used to crusing without our kids and eating dinner with another family with kids would make me really miss my own. I don't have a problem with seeing kids on the cruise, it's just I'll miss the dinner time conversation we would have with them:confused3
Plus the advantage of eating when we are ready and not having to worry about dress code are steering us toward avoiding the dining room this cruise.

Quick hi no phones no internet here by the back door nothnig to Monday
Hey Andrew:banana:

So, I'm surfing for cruise port info. & stumbled across this
http://www.eturbonews.com/9610/ship-fools-shore-excursions-can-sink-your-cruise

Makes for an interesting read! Back to ketchup shortly

Celestine

Very cool article, Thanks:thumbsup2

I'm trying to get my DH to participate more in the cruise planning this time. He left almost all the plans to me last cruise (EB PC repo) and I think he realized during the trip that he would have enjoyed himself more if he had more to do with the planning stage:rolleyes:
Unfortunately he is a "leave it to the last minute fly by the seat of your pants" type planner and has a hard time making decisions about something so far in the future:headache:

He keeps threatening to post on the this thread. He says I'll know its him when he does it:scared:
He can be very sarcastic..so let me apologize now for any obnoxious comment he is likely to make:flower3:

JoAnn, ADR's - advance dining ressies, just checking it out for when we go in Feb. and when DS goes in Aug. It seems instead of calling, you can make them on line. Got good reviews from those that did it.

We've eaten at Topsiders, mostly for breakfast. Great if you are in a rush or just want a quick bite. It is much more casual than the restaurants. We tend to go there on the mornings before our excursions for a quick breakfast. It is buffet style and you grab a tray and go.

We've eaten at Topsiders/BBB for breakfast and lunch, just never dinner. Love meeting up with folks in the dining room normally, but I'm thinking of trying something different for a short anniversary cruise:goodvibes

Quick hi! :thumbsup2
Hey Andrew:yay:
