We are not used to crusing without our kids and eating dinner with another family with kids would make me really miss my own. I don't have a problem with seeing kids on the cruise, it's just I'll miss the dinner time conversation we would have with them

Plus the advantage of eating when we are ready and not having to worry about dress code are steering us toward avoiding the dining room this cruise.
I'm trying to get my DH to participate more in the cruise planning this time. He left almost all the plans to me last cruise (EB PC repo) and I think he realized during the trip that he would have enjoyed himself more if he had more to do with the planning stage

Unfortunately he is a "leave it to the last minute fly by the seat of your pants" type planner and has a hard time making decisions about something so far in the future
He keeps threatening to post on the this thread. He says I'll know its him when he does it

He can be very sarcastic..so let me apologize now for any obnoxious comment he is likely to make
