I haven't had Midori in a decade or two. It sounds like something that I'll definitely have to try. :drinking1

Huge Tip: Don't let the kids try it. My DD (14) really likes these. :scared1: I have to get extra cherries in it so they soak for her. :upsidedow
It turns out a weird shade of bright green.

It is really good. If it's made properly it shouldn't taste too minty.

OK, so I just lied when I said I hadn't had Midori in so long. Check out this picture of us from Disneyland from before our repo cruise this past summer.

It was a Sunken Treasure. It was Midori, Malibu Rum, Blue Curaco, tropical juices, and Sprite. (Yes, I took a picture of the menu!)

I tried to google a recipe for the Welsh Dragon, and saw a picture of one from the R&C. It reminded me of this one.

You don't want the scrumpy and chocolate at the same time. That won't go together. Scrumpy is hard cider - Mike's makes one. I get it at Epcot with Ribena in it, it's a black current drink, now that's a good drink especially on a hot day.

If I can find a bartender to make a good Welsh Dragon on the ship I'll be sitting there with a green drink in my hand. It's hard to find a bartender that will make a good one. But Carl at Rose & Crown is the best :worship:
Well then I'll have some Scrumpy and then later on have chocolate!
I think I'll have to look up Carl when we are there over the holidays!

Are the male BALLYHOOERS invited to this?
Well, since I like you a bunch and you are very nice to a member of the SISTERHOOD, I'd let you come!

If you bring chocolate you are most certainly invited. :thumbsup2
Thaat shouldn't be a problem for him!

I might be able to resist eating some to bring and share with the Ballyhooers. I will admit, I am and always have been, a CHOCOHOLIC.
I'll carry the chocolate just to be on the safe side!

A welsh dragon is basically the same color as that drink. That one sounds good too. :thumbsup2

Now that everyone is going to be looking for him I certainly hope he's still there. He's been there a long time. He likes to teach bar tricks. We were in there one time about 2 hours with him teaching us bar tricks and making us drinks. DD had a great time and it was educational as well. :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Do not - and I repeat - DO NOT carry loads of chocolate in a bag that is close to your body or you will have a melted mess. We had a bag of candy on a bus coming back from Stratford Upon Avon and it was so hot on the bus and by the time we got back to my friends' house some of it had melted. It was a hot day and of course there was no a/c on the crowded bus. It was still good, it just didn't look very good.

I could sit here and keep posting useless, or rather useful, info for everyone to read but instead I think I will go to bed. :cloud9:

I promise to work on my pics again Friday. At least they are now on the computer. :woohoo: Now we are half-way there. :yay:

Helllloooooooo!! YOU WHOOOOOO!

Anyone out there? Gee wiz, you are all Chattylicious when I'm at school. Do I have to wake Izzi up to have some company??????

I know. Maybe Izzi will take to sleepwalking and posting through the night to keep this thread hopping!

No sleepwalking but it's nice to know I'm seen has a hopping person :yay: :yay:

Whew, I thought it was just me. I'm beginning to get a complex here.

Well, you'd better run and get your son. I remember those days of running from one practice to another. It was fun while it lasted but I honestly don't miss it.

Talk to you later.

That sounds like my weekend, we're running around like lunatics again .... what with cheder tonight, football practice for Ethan tomorrow morning and then he's got a sleepover party saturday night, then on Sunday morning Ethan has to go to his new prospective secondary school for some ability and it's tests and it's mitzvot day here so Paul, Josh and I are packing welfare boxes at the Jewish Welfare Relief warehouse and Sunday night Josh has his 1st black tie barmitzvah to attend. Oh yes on Saturday we're have new flooring put down in the kitche/breakfast room and the middle floor bathroom.:scared1: :scared1:

Roll on Monday

How much is that in dollars? I'm thinking quite a bit!

MMMMM!!!! We love Shepards Pie!

2335.jpg

At todays rate $43,000 at February's rate $62,0000

That looks just like the shepard pie I made and it all got woolfed down, it's a firm favourite in our house. I normally make a hige one as the boys eat if for breakfast the following day :thumbsup2

It sounds like they are like our Blue Angels!

Yep just like the Blue Angels but they showed them in an international competition that was held earlier on this year and I'm afraid that the Red Arrows beat, every team including the Blue Angels, hands down.

WTG Red Arrows :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

What a great blast from the past!! I remember just graduating high school and watching this show religiously! I had just met the love of my life- yes Jimmy- and I would have him call me from work every Sat. night at exactly 8:59 so I could hold the phone to the tv so we could listen to the opening song together!!!!!! :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc
I know mushy.... silly..... gag me with spoon... but it brought back a great time in my life- I think we did this for at least two years!!!!!I could still sing the entire song without missing a beat!!!!

Oh my gosh Sallie that is just such a sweet story ...... but I'm sorry I have to admit I did laugh ....yes you are a complete sappy person ..... but that's why we love ya :lovestruc
