Ok, welcome to our new CA friends and fellow sailors...............:goodvibes

Thx to Julie for the recommendation for BE...........I checked that out for my recent New Years trip and it cost $2100 for my family but if we went on a Tuesday it was like $500 so we passed on that one. That's definitely on my list.............so it's time to plan the NYC DISmeet for this winter (we need something to plan for in this frigid weather)........so who's in and what weekend.........I'm thinking February at this point, we could meet and see a show or just go to lunch and then maybe walk around...........what do you think??

Thx to Izzi for the movie suggestion, I'll check into that........hope all are well..............:surfweb:

Sounds good to me -- we might go out to a friend's country house in Connecticut for part of the President's day weekend, but other than that I think I could do most Saturdays . . .

I saw "Milk" last month and thought it was one of the best movies I had seen in a while (for adults, of course), so keep that in mind as well.

I looked at this the other day and saw that I had gone past Robert and didn't like I had more post than him. Where is Robert?!? He needs to talk way more than me. :dance3: :woohoo: :grouphug:

Robert is around just busy lurking!:goodvibes

Beside's it is to much work to keep up the post count with you ladies :lmao: & I have nothing interesting to add to the conversation at the moment!:scared1:

Predicatable............:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :thumbsup2

Its built up over years of helping people ( and a little hindering);)

Join you in the 'mens club' for a drink :woohoo:

Alway's willing to meet for a drink Andrew !:thumbsup2

However I do not know if you will have the time as it looks like you have been very prolific this morning in posting!:rotfl2:

Is there a way of chcking your post count for all of the Dis?

As Dicken's has said "you would have a terribly large chain (count) by now":lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :worship:

Its funnt certain days there is nothing, other days lots and lots of questions where you can add to it.

My post count covers all the Dis inc UK Dis and other areas, since about 2004, I had another log in before that with more posts but forgot the log in and lost that.

During that time I also changed internet ISP, and my e.mail changed.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I jumped down to skimming the past posts because I will never catch up! Did anything really, really important happen that I should know abou?
You do sound like a wild bunch. :cheer2: I am really looking forward to playing.
Are you trying to say that there are some things we say here are not really, really important? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Queen Googlicious they are the same company, I checked the locations in the first link. I've eaten at the one near Times Square in the converted church with the beautiful stained glass windows.

I see Barb answered already, but there are three locations of John's in NYC . . . the one in Greenwich Village was the first, then the one just off Times Square, and there is another one (nicely not filled with tourists but with the same great food!) on E. 64th St. I have a lot of pizza places I like in NYC, but we probably go to John's the most often (and Barb is correct, for here the price is right!).
Thanks to both of you for the further info on John's! I couldn't get the location links to work for the first place, so had no clue they were connected!

Maybe I can start with my life story...
It was a dark and stormy night, wait, maybe it was a hot sunny morning. Give me time, I'll try to get it right.

Okay, if that doesn't sound interesting, how about labor with my first baby and how she turned breach during labor and how they decided it would be fun to turn her around and..................yeah I know, that is a story for another day.
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Something tells me you are going to fit in here just fine! You are getting chattylicious down just fine!

You are always interesting. We like hearing about your snow and ice this time of year since we don't have any.....and I don't want it either. :cold:

Besides, you've always been ahead of me in post counts until now.

WAAAHHHH!!! I wanna come!!!!! :sad1:

Hop on a plane and head east. You could make them pay for you to have a training session at the Philly plant (yeah I know....it's helicopters) and then we can go up together.

I'm up for a Sat. meet and lunch. Have a wedding on Valentine's Day, but other than that no other plans for the weekends. :yay:

That works for me! You never know when I might need to know about the helicopter aspect of Boeing! :thumbsup2

I hate shoveling with shovel be it manual or electic or snow thrower or any other apperatus!!:headache: :headache:

As for the count I do not care!:worship: :worship:

I am free of all vice except those involving my wife & a drink now & then!:lmao:

I have to go to Chicago over MLK weekend with my son's Hockey team:headache:

I keep telling them that a nice tournament in Orlando over the winter would work well for all!:rolleyes1 :dance3: :cool1:

Chicago?!? You need to head south not to the midwest in the middle of January.

We only got a little bit of sleet and a few flakes and then rain last night. Sorry to hear you got more of the 'white stuff'.

You are not going to post a pic of pizza from John's?!?
