7/18/10 Mickey's Baltic Ballyhoo Part 6

Sorry you are out of luck, it's sitting in my driveway just screaming for a 16yo to learn to drive it.

Is that what you call the funny noise it makes when you try to start it up!

I thought it was more like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl: :laughing:popcorn::

Hey, hey, hey ...... I treat my cars right, they only scream when DH drives them. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Some do go via a TA, others direct, even if you book through a TA, it is frustrating.

According to my Docs they were printed on 1st June, so it was only last week and sent quickly, and the delay sometimes is an upgrade, but DCL website would show that now.

No upgrade according to the website. Unfortunately. I guess it's just a timing thing.

:thumbsup2

They hopefully are in the works somewhere.

Actually think Upgrades will be limited as special and longer cruises tend to sell higher Cats first, outsides and verandahs, and looking over the time on the DCL website the availability at top Cats has been very limited.

Wowwwww this conversation might be going too far sounds like we should save it for a night that we are all having dinner with some special Scrumpy that Paul is said to be planning to smuggle on board the Magic!:scared1::drinking1: :chat::drinking1:faint::sick::headache:

Hmm I wonder what the kids will be up to that night?

Facebook says they are trashing a Cat 1 verandah.....

Have you asked Paul what he actually putting into your scrumpy. I think he has a secret plan to get you all drunk, take you to the Isle of White ferry, put you on it and nick your rooms on the Magic for his extended family.

As long as security isn't involved I guess just about anything would go. But maybe the oldest 3 will have had a beer or 2 in port and will want to go to sleep really, really early since they can't handle their alcohol. :rotfl2:

Hello,

I like to ask you something for somebody else, she's coming from Belguim to Dover whit a ferry from P&O, and wants to go to the cruiseterminal.
Is this far and how can she get there beside a taxi?

Thanks,
Connie

Must be yours then! as you will be in Berlin!:thumbsup2

So you think I have upgraded to the other one then???????

What do I do with 30 Cruise Magnets, with my stateroom door number on them??

Whilst slightly difficult with luggage, but without its easy, -you can walk it, if you ask on Saturday PM, and remind me I will tell you exaclty as I will be in Dover all day.

First the Bad news.......
Further strikes by BA cabin crew appear inevitable after the joint leader of the Unite union told Sky News preparations were "under way" for another ballot. The confirmation from Tony Woodley came as union members walked out on the last day of their series of five-day strikes.
There have now been 22 days of industrial action in a row over pay and conditions with airline bosses.
More strike action by cabin crew would spell misery for BA passengers.

Now the good news........or maybe bad news

The earliest possible strike date would fall at the end of July, the height of the busy holiday season. The dispute is now the longest-running in recent aviation history. "Brendan Barber from the TUC and we have tried to convene meetings with BA and Willie Walsh to resolve this dispute, but to no avail", explained Mr Woodley.
"This particular dispute is drifting. We'll review the situation as we prepare for another ballot."

I really hope nobody gets caught by these strikes anything with British in front of its name must be really popular in the states at present:rolleyes1

Well if what you say holds true the end of July I will be looking to return on BA from Barcelona on August 7th to Heathrow connecting to the USA?

Sounds like an extended vacation on BA:dance3::banana::woohoo::yay:

Now I'm really glad we aren't on BA this time. Although getting stranded in London wouldn't be all that bad since it sounds like a strike would be after or during this cruise.

It would only be an extended vacation because of BA not on BA. But it's good thinking on your part.
