6/8 Disneyland Magic Hour - Advice Needed

I'm going to be checking into Paradise Pier on 6/7 for the 6/8 Magic hour and guaranteed Star Wars Land res. (still don't my star wars land res emailed yet). I've never actually done a Disney Magic hour. Any idea how long it actually takes to get into the park?

Anyone have advice for magic hour? I'm going to Disneyland. I know it's just Fantasy Land / Tomorrow. I'm planning on Space / StarTours / Buzz then Fantasy land.

Thinking about circling back to California Adventure as the Fast Passes fill up quick. (granted no clue when I will have galaxy.

Any input & advice is welcome.

I'd say arrive 1 hour to 40 minutes before EMH opening but hey, we don't really know with SWGE opening.

If you want to do Peter Pan then rope drop that. I think pull a FP for Space in line if you have MaxPass. THEN do other Fantasyland attractions before using your Space FP, then pull a StarTours FP, ride Buzz, use Star Tours.

I imagine SP / Star Tours / Buzz will all be basically "walk on" with Max Pass. Haven't done fantasy in ages.

Sounds like you don't know your SWGE reservation time/haven't received that email? You should be able to get that info by calling the SWGE reservation line at 888-834-9125. Some here also reported the email going to the "Promotions" tab if you use that function in Gmail so make sure you check there or other Junk/Spam folders just in case.

Also, are you solo or with a group? If you're solo I'd highly recommend the single rider line for Space vs using FP/Maxpass.

I'm going with one other person and we could def solo Space. I wonder if they changed the SWGE reservation. As of Tuesday morning, when I booked the room they refused to tell me when I would get it. I contacted paradise Pier front desk and they indicated I would get it at check in. I think they changed the process, but will call again tomorrow to check at your number.

I see-I didn’t realize you had booked so recently. They do say it takes at least 24 hours after booking to have you show up in the SWGE reservation system. So if you don’t have the email by tomorrow morning I’d just give them a call.

Space Mountain, Star Tours and Buzz all have FP. Nothing in FL does. For this reason, conventional wisdom for MM has you doing FL first, while pulling FPs to use on those Tomorrowland rides later. Those FL lines, esp. PP, can really build later in the day. And, you won't have MP anyway during MM. You can start selecting them on your app, but they start after the regular park opening time.

We usually ride ST, Buzz, Tea cups, Mr.toad all basically walk ons during EMH and Matterhorn if doable before the whole park opens. We also grab MP for IJ and then head over to PoTC, HM use MP for IJ grab MP for BTMR. Then grab MP for Matterhorn if we didn't do it or SM.

WOW!!! THANK YOU FOR THE PHONE NUMBER! My res is 8 - 12. This changes everything!

I wonder how they are going to distinguish people who can do Early Magic hour vs. SWGE getting their passes. This will def cut into my EMH as I obviously want to be at SWGE the first moment I can.
