6/7/11 - It's a double dip DREAM!

Okay, my husband is seriously cursed with elevator rooms. He ALWAYS ends up getting a hotel room next to the elevators and is such a light sleeper that the noise keeps him up all night.

We just got our room assignement a few days and go and guess what I realized last night? It's right next to the elevators and laundry. Honestly, I'm 90% sure it won't be an issue but take a look at 8144, WWYD? Looks like its between mid/aft w/ the Murphy Bed. Which is another point, we don't need the Murphy bed and I hate the idea of people who need one not getting in, you know?

Why do I flip flop from over the top excitement :yay: to unnecessary worry :scared1:??!

In about two weeks, I get to go to a "days" countdown instead of weeks!!! We are leaving June 4th!!! Had planned on leaving at 5 AM but son has a tournament and now can't leave until 5 PM. That will mean we will have to drive straight through 15 horus!! Have promised youngest we would go to Blizzard Beach this year!! Anyone been to BB...is it really worth the $350 admission?

I looked at the deck plan, and it looks like your cabin is a good distance from the elevators. I'm sure it will be fine!

I love BB. We always have a great time, but what makes it worth the $$ for us are the looks on our kids' faces.

So true - we love it, too. Going after the cruise and can't wait! :)

I think our rooms are next to the elevators, too. Anyone else on deck 9? Are we alone there? :rolleyes1

I'm sure there is no way we would get upgraded. I would absolutely be willing to sacrifice our 2 rooms for a beautiful suite. . . just saying! :rotfl2:

Also, I am SO irritated about my (lack of) 2011 Passporter cruise book thing! STILL no word on when that is coming out. I hope they call it 2012! *&^$%#! lol

My kids love Typhoon Lagoon. Blizzard beach is just okay for them. They really enjoy the giant wave pool and sand.

I just noticed a refund of $11.52 on my CC from DCL. Anyone know what that might be about? :confused3

TIA for any and all info.

I also got a refund. When you look at my cruise price it is slightly lower now than what I booked at. The refund is for the price difference.

We just got our assignment and got some pixie dust. We were upgraded from a 9A to a 5E. We have never had a balcony before. Only downside is we are on the "noisy" deck five above the restrooms. I'm not complaining. It is a great upgrade and we have an extended balcony:yay:. I'll just have to pack ear plugs.

We finally got our assignment as well - we are in 8104. It appears to be mid-ship between two floors of cabins, so I am not anticipating any noise issues (other than from two 16 year old girls :rotfl2:). Now, I just need to finish obtaining my FE items (I am not crafty). See you all soon.:thumbsup2

my dd and i are also on deck 9. a great location room 9111. so ready for the trip to be here.

That is exactly how they start. Here is a link to a video her friend made of her at the Nastia Liukin Cup she qualified to this year. This may be what you are in for.:thumbsup2

That is great! My DGD 9 takes gymnastics, too. But I just don't ever see her doing stuff like that. She's too afraid to try things. But she still likes it after taking lessons for 3 (?-maybe 4) years now. I think my DD said when she moves up again, she'll be starting in the competition level. Can you tell I don't get to watch her very often???

You're in trouble! We got upgraded on my Mom's first cruise to a verandah and now she won't cruise without one! :rotfl2:

When we got upgraded to a veranda my DGD said she wanted a balcony next time, too. I told her if we had a room without any windows we could cruise 2 or 3 times but if we got one with a balcony, we could only go once. She chose no windows! :thumbsup2

I think I must have missed some posts!

Is that someone's daughter in the gymnastics video? WOW!

My DD who is 10 has been doing gymnastics for a couple years. This was her first year competing. She's in AAU4.

Hey does anyone know if it's too late to get in on the FE's
we just logged on and are trying to find out what it's about
This will be our fourth Disney Cruise and we are excited to learn new things
Myself,DH,and two DD's and dont forget DGM will be on this cruise.:cool1:
