for some reason the formatting doesn't work well (some of the ages are squished into the names). if you are type A like me you can download it (at least I think you can) and fix it before you print it (if you are so inclined). I put the rooms in order so I can deliver my gifts in an orderly manner (like I said, type A...)

and Kellyb2000-not lowest on totem pole... closest to the ocean!

Thank you for this!!!! :dance3:

Oh my word - I'm telling you, after the first 10 or so pages of the thread I hung my head in shame! That is a level of craftiness I won't be attaining! :lmao:

Now, where's my iron? :rotfl:

Nope, I'm with you!! Did you see some of the scrapbooking page stuff? Mine was really easier than I thought. I let my daughter do the FE gifts! :rotfl2:

The first one went on perfect (luckily that was mine :rotfl2: ) The second one didn't go quite as planned but still looks GREAT! Big shout out to my favorite sister JKLMNOP48375893 for making our FEs!!!! MWAH!

:cloud9: Aww. Still love you more'n my luggage!

oh I KNOW you are so glad to have that over with! Any upgrade or did you get what you paid for? We got exactly what we paid for!

Nevermind - I just realized you already have pretty much the best you can get! :cool1:

Hahaha, that's what happens when you book 76 days out. According to Disney it was the ONLY room left to book. I didn't feel like we were over charged for it though. I am SOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!

Mine helped me, too - and she's 3 1/2... ;)

There were so many things I wanted to be able to do! lol

And I loooove how people say, "Oh it was really just so very easy!"

I bought my FE off of ebay, so, yeah. That's my level of craftiness.

We have cruised before (including once on DCL) and just love it. I am a divorced mom taking my two kids on our first vacation that's just the 3 of us! YIKES! But, we all love Disney, and esp DCL, so it should be fun. :)

We are flying from Houston the night before and staying at the Holiday Inn that is supposed to be only a mile or two from the airport and has a free airport shuttle. I thought about booking a private car/limo to get us to the port and then back to the airport on the 12th, but with only 3 people, it didn't make much sense. And since I will be the only adult, I can't just drop off the kids and luggage to go park the car. :) I'm a little worried about going back to the airport to catch the Disney Express to the port. Anyone ever done that??

Anyway, I am 39, DD is 11, and DS is 9 1/2. :)

I have lots of questions, since it's been awhile since our last cruise. Can we do a search of the threads so I don't have to read 52 pages per post! LOL

Yes, you can search. :thumbsup2

If you scroll all the way to the top.....then down towards the bottom of the page is a BLUE bar. One of the tabs is "Search This Thread".

Or, you can just ask questions. We're a friendly group. This is our first cruise ever, but I have read a lot. :thumbsup2

BTW: Welcome aboard. :welcome:

I so didn't know that...

We just got our assignment and got some pixie dust. We were upgraded from a 9A to a 5E. We have never had a balcony before. Only downside is we are on the "noisy" deck five above the restrooms. I'm not complaining. It is a great upgrade and we have an extended balcony:yay:. I'll just have to pack ear plugs.

That is so cool! I'd deal with the noise for an upgrade!!!:cool1:

my FE list needs your stateroom number :yay: congrats on the upgrade. I guess that's one reason to go GTY... I'm too much of a planner, I had to know where we were and that all 4 staterooms were an arm's reach from one another...

Originally I had booked an earlier cruise, but the district I teach in had 2 weeks of snow days, which made it impossible to make. When I reschedule for the later date, the only oceanview I could get was a GTY. I had to give up the bigger corner ocean room 8006 to go on the later cruise, but it seems to be worth it now.

One question I had was do alot of people decorate their door? And does any one know how long the lines are to see the disney characters?

Hi!! I didn't see quite as many decorated doors on the Dream as I have on other DCL cruises, but that just made it that much easier to find my door!

And the character lines weren't bad - one trick is to get to the character greeting 10-15 minutes before it's supposed to start. You'll be among the first in line. It worked wonders for me on formal night to see Cap'n Mickey!

I'm a little worried about going back to the airport to catch the Disney Express to the port. Anyone ever done that??

Hi!! It's very easy! Ask the hotel to drop you off on the B side and you can just go downstairs to meet the Mickey bus!

You're in trouble! We got upgraded on my Mom's first cruise to a verandah and now she won't cruise without one! :rotfl2:
