One of my t-shirt DISigns from long ago.
That's a Plan!!!!!! Let me know when and where. And guess what - no one has to worry about driving afterwards!!!!
So far I'm holding steady in the forward of the ship down a little hallway where no one will be able to find me![]()
Looks like I will be checking out paying for an upgrade at port. Maybe I can get a room across from Deb & Jayde
We will party no matter where I am! Hey and Deb is the bartender - she'll have the bullet![]()
I know exactly what you mean. It doesn't help when I keep having the kids try on clothes to make sure things fit right. I have the suitcases out and I told them that I needed to by summer clothes and because there is no room in their rooms I am storing them in the suitcases. They keep asking "where I going to wear this to?" Since they wear uniforms - I told them they needed more regular clothes for the summer because they have outgrown stuff.
But.....that's why I come here. You are my peeps!!!! You share in my excitement.![]()
Palo Tea - I am cancelling tea for Thursday right now - if anyone wanted it.
Just back from buying bathing suits for DD. Had to get "big girl" suits with little bras/lining. Where did my little girl go? I literally cried when she put them on since she looked so grown up.
Good morning, everyone!!!
(first of all, I have to figure out how to do a multi quote in one response like Denise does.. can't master that...)
Ok, in no particular order:
1. Deb & the triplegang Mom (can you believe that there will be two sets of 8 y.o. triplets?) will be the bullet masters... everyone else will in charge of procuring juices/fruit (for fruity rummy smoothy things) and/or ice cream/milk (for white russiany frozen things).
2. We just booked the Rays, Reef & Rum Point tour (again!) through Nativeways in Grand Cayman. We've done it before and every time I think about the *BEST* excursion I've ever taken it's been this one. First you go to Stingray City, then snorkeling a little ways away then on to Rum Point Beach which is gorgeous. Best of all they take your lunch order on the boat and call it in so that it's ready when you get there. Then you hang at the beach for about an hour and then sail back. I kept thinking, "been there, done that" but really, it is so worth doing again. I've attached the link and there is still room:
http://www.nativewaywatersports.com/tour_details.htm#Rays, Reef and Rum Point
Let me know if anyone wants to join, too!
3. A little Florida anecdote for you all as you prepare to come join us in the swamp... we like to call this "defensive driving" down here... so this morning I had to swerve to avoid a nice sized (about 18") turtle crossing the street.. then an on-ramp to the highway was temporarily closed by an 8 foot aligator who decided to cross the road. Seriously. We've had 14" of rain in Orlando in May so far and all of the critters are out. I'm deathly afraid of snakes so I can't wait to see what will be in my grass this weekend when I mow it. (I'm the neighborhood goof with my big steeltoe boots on when I mow! Tank top, cut off shorts and steeltoes- it's a sight!!)
Have an awesome day!

What time did you decide to go with? It would be great to be on the same timeslot.

I decided to go with the 8am slot. Carolyn said it should not be a problem. They have had others on the Disney ship do the 8am and there have been no issues. She said there is another group from Magic also doing the 8am. She also said she would have them wait an extra 15 min if needed. I said if you see some crazy folks running down the street it will be us. So the play is to order room service for breakfast and get down there early for the tenders. I figured if it all works then we can go to Seven Mile beach (Royal Palm) and enjoy some lunch and the beach.![]()
Sounds like a planHave fun.
Thanks, you too!! Fat Fishes has some really great reviews so we are looking forward to this!!![]()
Hey - I can include the 4 of you. I'm Diane and my DS Larry (14), we are in 6315 as of right now (fingers crossed for an upgrade once I get to port, even if I have to pay a little for it).Hi everyone, I was wondering if I could join the FE Exchange? I know it is terribly late, my fault, I don't really know how it all works and didn't realize I should have signed up a lot earlier. I realize most people would not be able to give but if anyone had any extras, I would love it if my kids could receive a little "magic." We are in two staterooms but will probably just hang one fish extender. We are in rooms 6305 and 6303. DD Madison is 7 and DS Anthony is 12. Not to worry though, someone told me to make a few "secret" gifts for my own kids and sneak them in there. Any extra gifts will just be icing on the cake!
Where do I find a list of rooms, we have some gifts to give. I want my kids to experience giving, and doing random acts of kindness, I think that is something all children should experience. The FE Exchange is such an awesome idea!
