I hope I still have some readers.

but I wanted to post a life update

I started my new job on Friday.... Now, I think that I mentioned that it's just temp to hire so I am trying to be positive. At least it's a job for 3 months if it doesn't work out... It is LOTS to learn but I know that's with any job- It always seem like it's too much to learn but after a few weeks, it's easy peasy lemon squeezy, right?
In more exciting Disney news, my sister and I booked our weekend trip to come visit with them!!! SO EXCITED to see them and surprise our boys. Now, they will be there about 4 days before we arrive and she is staying at the Contemporary.
Do you want to know where we are staying? Sure ya do.
Drumroll please............
Rob, that is for you!
I am excited to stay here. I remember staying here when I was in the 10th grade back in 2001 but I don't remember much about it really. I have been wanting to try POP out but we normally do the MODS to get the table service credits so being that this will be a short weekend, it's the perfect chance to give it a try! Any requests I should make?
The when: Friday, June 13th ( Friday the 13th, eek)- Sunday June 15.
We will end up driving halfway that Thursday night like we did our previous trip. The kids just do better that way and it is a great way to break up the trip. Our plans are to arrive by 11 a.m. that Friday morning. After we check in we will go on over to the Contemporary where our surprise will go down.
I want to check out the resort and we will do a monorail crawl and go visit the Poly ( Jessica has never been) and satisfy my dole whip float craving.
And we will go to the Grand Floridian and walk around.
I was on the phone with Jessica this past week and she proposed the idea about taking Lawson and Landen for a few hours this night and let Stevie and I go out to dinner or do whatever we want. OMG, a couple hours in Disney without my children? YES, please! I am so excited to have this time. Since my mom died, we just don't have anyone to keep our children without it costing us an arm and a leg so this is big for us. Not to mention, we will be DISNEYYYYY!
I really wanted Ohana, as we haven't been there for dinner, only breakfast but the only times they have available are really late for us. I considered The Wave since we will be so close.
I also considered Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. I thought it would be beautiful to take the friendship boat out there, eat, get dessert from Beaches and Cream and walk around and enjoy the evening atmosphere of the Epcot Resort area.
I have also contemplated going offsite.
Anyone have any ideas?
The biggest thing is we want to be at Rope Drop at MK on Saturday since that will be our only park day so I want to be in bed by a decent time. I am hoping to try BOG for lunch that Saturday and maybe do Pecos Bills for dinner.
Sunday we will do Disney Quest and we found out that "Cars Master weekend" will be at Downtown Disney that weekend. All of the Cars characters, exotic cars, etc. This is right up Stevie's alley and that is Father's Day so score some points for me! He also loves Quest. We will browse the cars and do the Quest and hopefully eat at Earl of Sandwich before we have to head back about 3 that afternoon.
It will be a short but sweet weekend but I am just glad that it works out for us to go. Not like Disney is going anywhere and of course, I always come back.
