58 tantrums, 2 snakes, 3 dole whips, a fall & lost sunglasses... OH MY!!!!!

Yup, even though I don't use it, seeing the ME busses always makes me glad I'm not getting on.

Hmmm, I'll have to try this Everest you talk about Marcie. :rolleyes1

OK, YAY for your first (of many now to come I'm sure) ride on Everest. How cool is it???

I love your Christmas photos, but my fav is the one at the tree. I always adore photos that look natural like that one. Precious.

OMG MARCIE!!! You got the job!!!! I'm sorry it doesn't sound perfect yet, but maybe it will turn out great. But congratulations just the same!!!!
And yup, I've started a job that I wasn't sure about... 12 years ago. But hey, at it pays for Disney. ;)

Thanks Rob... You make me feel a little better.. I've been thinking about it all day and wondering if I'm doing the right thing... I am happy you shared the same feelings before & obviously, it turned out good for you. :)

I love natural photos too!

And yes, you were totally right about EE. I'll never miss it again!

I'm so glad you joined in and said hello!!

I'm also glad to know I'm not alone with the tantrums!

Raising boys is a lot of work, but so much fun!

Gratz on the job pixiedust: Just wait my stepson is 15.Let me tell you he may not sitting in the floor screaming and crying, but he sure does have the shouting and screaming down flat.

Loving the report, we head to WDW in May and I can't wait.

Ariana our daughter was going to be called Lawson if she was a boy I love the name, although not enough to have more children to use it. lol.

Oh cool! What are your dates?

I am so glad you joined in!

Aww, I had always loved the name Lawson too.. Love your kids names too! Since we have two L names, I feel like if we have a third, it will have to be an L name. :)

We are there 19th of May to the 2nd June. It is so rainy and cold here I am really looking forward to some sunshine.

All our kids have middle names beginning with J Josh, James and Jean, we didn't do it on purpose for the boys but we did with Ariana because we felt we had two J's we should do a third. LOL.

Congratulations on the job! I had a job I didn't like very much for 4 and a half years. I stayed there long enough to learn everything I could so that I could put it all on my resume and use it to get a better job :) I never see any opportunity as a waste. I am certain you'll get something from the experience!

My son is 17 now, but I remember taking him to the mall once when he was just 2 or 3 and he threw himself onto the ground and had a fit right there in the mall. I can't even remember why. We picked him up and walked right out. No shopping that day!! Sometimes it's just not worth it :) We've all been there!!

And I have to say that I LOVE your Christmas pictures!!

Thank you!! I'm about to go in, in just a few minutes!! You are right- I guess no opportunity is a waste!!

I guess tantrums just come with territory huh? ;)

Thanks- I loved them too!

The heat and humidity can drain the heck out of you! So, I get where the poor little guy was coming from when had his meltdown.

Yay for getting the job! If it turns out that it's not working out for you hourwise, then you can start the search again. At least you have some income coming in in the meantime.:thumbsup2

Your pics are gorgeous! Congrats on the job. If it makes you feel better I started a job right out of college as a stepping stone..didn't think it was what I really wanted...LOL 22 years later and still here, obviously have gone through many positions to where I am now but just consider it an experience if nothing else. I feel so bad when I see a child pull a tantrum. I actually feel bad for the parents  The Florida heat & humidity is brutal. I was fortunate as my daughter "Leah" love writing L's in script/cursive..lol never really had melt downs...I was just lucky. Now if you want to talk about a child that did not sleep through the night until she was 5 :scared1::furious::sad: come see me...lol :rotfl2:

Congrats on the job! The company where I was working (and loved) closed, and I had to take a job that I thought I would hate. However, being a single mom I couldn't be out of work. Turns out I LOVE my new job. Great people, the money is better than at my old job, and I got a promotion 2 months into it. You just never know! If it's not what you want, at least it will buy you some time until you find a better job.

Kids and tantrums just come together. My kids are perfect (:rotfl2:), but I remember a few meltdowns when they were younger. Hang in there! They will be in college before you know it (which is wonderful and terrible at the same time). If I could go back and relive just one day, it would be when my kids were as young as yours are.

Loving your trip report! We head to WDW in 118 days :cool1:

Yes it definitely will!!!

Well I'm sad to say but I'm already starting the search again!! :((; I knew that one or two nights if have to stay until 8, well yesterday I found out that I won't get off until 6 the other nights and with living 45 minutes from the place and having to pick up boys by a certain time, it just won't work. I just wanted to be honest with them and myself before they invest time and money..... :( So back to square one!!! :(

It's good that you found out right away that the job wasn't going to work for you. It would have been nice of them to tell you that you'd have to work until 6 every day. Like you said, that just isn't going to work when you've got kids that have to be picked up by a certain time.

Thanks Lisa! :) you're a mama too and there is no way I can be away from the kids that much... I'm talking 6 days a week!! And besides that, it just doesn't work bc of daycare/after school. Just glad i was honest with myself before I got in to deep..

What is your name on Facebook?

FL has about one cold month out of the entire year (mid-January to mid-Feb.) otherwise it's always hot. And AK is the worst; all that foliage just traps in that humidity. I can't blame the kids for being irritable. It can get pretty miserable out in the hot sun. :sad2:

Glad you got to go on EE! I love that ride, especially the backwards part. But I don't think I'd have been brave enough to go on it as a young kid. Kudos to Lawsen!:worship:
