50th Celebration

What's going on now that will end when the 50th celebration is over? Will they still have the dining plan and magical express available?

Best guess is that this celebration will end September 30, 2006.

There are rumblings that the next celebration, WDW's 35th anniversary, will begin the next day.

The dining plan doesn't appear to be related to the celebration. It's a financial add-on. The jury is still out on Magical Express. Speculation ranges from it staying as-is to it going away altogether, with the reality probably closer to there being a small charge applied for it, if even that.

I was hoping that the dining plan would stay. Hopefully ME will stay as well. Thanks so much for the info!

Just to be clear: I believe it is almost assured that the dining plan will continue, as it is now. Sorry if that wasn't clear from my earlier message.

I don't see Magical Express going away since Universal has plans to start one.
