50 Enhancements across WDW for the 50th

Would be kind of lame for them to replace RoL after three years but oh well I guess. I think space mountain really needs an update, hopefully that is something they enhance. Maybe even change the ending of thunder mountain.

Replacing ROL after only 3 years seems a little quick (and certainly unusual) to me. Especially after all they have gone through to get it running. I do, however, think each of the nighttime shows/parades/fireworks should be replaced about every 5-7 years. That keeps things fresh.

...except Fantasmic right? Because I will riot. That could be updated though.

One of the updates they have to do I would say is the villains they show, keep the ones already there but add some newer ones or just some that are missing from original movies. For sure even fix up Maleficent at the end.

If we're going pie in the sky, I love the idea of Spain. And it can easily be lucrative. I've spent more on dinner in one night at Cafe Tu Tu Tango than anywhere else in Orlando, and that includes California Grill. And that's off site!

There is enough Europe in World Showcase. Unless a countries tourism board was willing to pony up some cash for a new pavilion I think it is something you won't see. Unfortunate but the way of things.

...lol...to each their own. That's my LEAST favorite place in Orlando.

I wonder what they'll do to the castle? popcorn::

I know there is a love/hate relationship with the 25th Birthday Cake castle. I was there, still have the musical snow globe, I loved it! It was so much fun to see how they transformed it. I cannot wait to see if they get really bold again!!

I thought it was a clever idea...but they won't do it again because of the ridiculous "internet overreact" to it.

People just can't stand that it was pink In pictures they NEVER looked at again.

So true. The internet today would be unrelenting toward Disney. Maybe lots of giant diamonds and lots of sparkles. The pink was indeed ambitious, good for then, maybe not so much now.

I guess I'll be the contrarian. I hated the 25th anniversary castle. Primarily because I think it looked ridiculous. If you are an annual pass holder or go regularly and you've seen the castle time and again, great. I get that it's a creative change of pace. But I do think it's different for those people who save up for essentially a very expensive pilgrimage and show up every 5 years or maybe once in a childhood. Do I think it ruined peoples' vacations? No. But I think it was a bad idea. You can augment the castle in many ways where it still looks like the castle. Don't overlay the whole thing like that again.

There's realistically no chance they will...

I would say...if they wanted to do something along those lines...build a 50 ft birthday cake in a plaza or corner somewhere off the beaten path for pictures...
