I think I get choked up on just about any Disney Commercial let alone when I go to the park. Wow I wonder if my wife knows she married a 30 y/o cry baby. But hey what can I say I love my Disney.

We're going in approx. 4 weeks, so I'm right there with ya' and I love your question. Here are mine, not in any order.

Walking under the train station the first day onto Main Street USA

On the last night of the trip - leaving Main Street - I turn around and take one last long look at the castle. It's sad...but I know I'll be back. The castle is changing colors and I consider that is it's way of waving "goodbye" to me. Or better yet, "see you real soon."

Fantasmic - at the end when Mickey says "Some Imagination huh?"

Legend of the Lion King @ AK - at the end when everybody is back on stage and they are singing Circle of Life.

Wishes and Illuminations!

I put both of those in there so I could have a top 6 instead of a top 5.

I could go on and on and on.

Have fun on your trip.

1)5) Okay...remember that ad a few years ago, with the little girl, goes all over the MK, and gets gloomier and sadder, and it's the end of the day, she has her head down - looking super sad..and these black shoes come into view..and the camera pans up..it's Mickey...pan back to little girl's face - look of awe..and she utters the words "I've been waiting my whole life to meet You." See I'm tearing up now...I'm a sap.
:ccat:

I forgot all about that ad. I got choked up just reading about it! Thanks for the memory. :sad1:

1) Hearing the Golden Dreams song at American Adventure (I loved this so much, I used it at my retirement ceremony from the Air Force--it make EVERYONE tear up) (I don't just tear up--they stream down my face for this one)
2) When the "rainshower" comes at the Little Mermaid show.
3) The pictures on the floating globe at EPCOT during Illuminations
4) The snow falling at MGM studios amid the Osbourne lights (it was genuis of them to move that to New York Street!)
5) Closing the door to our room at Boardwalk Villas when it's time to head for home.

1. The anticipation of telling our 7 Grandchildren this Christmas eve that our entire family is flying to Disney World the NEXT week...Merry Christmas!
2. Seeing the expressions of our little grandchildren as they experience "The World" for the first time.
3. My husband and I on our first trip "alone" to Disney World...priceless.
4. Packing our suitcases to leave the World.
5. Last glimpse of the castle as we head for home. Sad day.

Sorry.... I'm doing a top 10!

1. Wishes - especially on our last night
2. Walking down Main Street & seeing the castle for the 1st time
3. The CM's & Mickey waving good-night & holding up the "See Ya Real Soon!" signs at the close of the Magic Kingdom for the night
4. Looking over at either of my children during a fireworks show or a parade or on a ride or whatever & seeing the looks of wonder & happiness on their faces
5. Driving under the Walt Disney World arch at the start of our vacation
6. American Adventure
7. "Some Imagination, huh?" from Fantasmic
8. "Here we gooooo!" from Peter Pan's Flight
9. Leaving & listening to LeAnn Rimes' "Remember When" as we drive away - which ought to be outlawed! We bought the "Happiest Celebration on Earth CD" in DTD right before we left last June. We get in the car, pop it in the CD player, & then drive away from the World & start home. I was a crazy, sobbing mess, the kids were crying, & DH kept saying, "We'll be back! I promise we'll come back!", but I think even he was wiping away a couple of tears
10. Witnessing any special character interaction - whether it's w/ our kids or w/ other children. Last June, we were eating breakfast at Chef Mickey's, and a little boy burnt his hand on one of the buffets & dropped his cereal. He was crying & unconsolable. Before you could blink, Goofy was right there beside him! Goofy had been standing & posing for pics as people came up to him, but, when he saw what had happened, he motioned to the people standing in line "just a minute" & then walked over to the little boy & his mother. The little boy looked up, saw Goofy, and the tears turned into the brightest smile. Goofy bent down & hugged him. It was such a special moment. I got all teary-eyed just watching. :goodvibes

ETA: For those of you who've never heard "Remember When", here are the lyrics:

Do you remember your imagination?
That Neverland was a destination
Your magical adventure isn't over yet
Just hold on tight and don't forget

Every wish, every dream you ever had
Just close your eyes
And it will all come rushing back
Fly away
All you need is to believe and remember when

You never know where your dreams might take you
So keep them safe and sound don't let reality break you
Feel your sweetest memories come and carry you away
Just get lost in yesterday

Every wish, every dream you ever had
Just close your eyes
And it will all come rushing back
Fly away
All you need is to believe and remember when

Surrender to the innocence
You thought you left behind
And reach the child that lives inside

Every wish, every dream you ever had
Just close your eyes
And it will all come rushing back
Fly away
All you need is to believe and remember when

Fly away
All you need is to believe and remember when

Remember when...

The ad a few years ago, when the little girl goes all over the MK, and gets gloomier and sadder, and it's the end of the day, she has her head down - looking super sad..and these black shoes come into view..and the camera pans up..it's Mickey...pan back to the little girl's face - look of awe..and she utters the words "I've been waiting my whole life to meet You."
