5 things before you die

I saw on a TV show once, that a person wrote a list early in their life of 5 things they would like to do before they die.

Think about what 5 things you would like to do. What has always been on the back of your mind that you would do "someday", and someday is quickly passing.

Now... get thinkin' people! ;)

I'm off to think of my list

Well I just asked DH Obi-Wan what his 5 things would be. He immediately said "sky diving"

I told him that it would be one of the 5 things to do after I die because he would be doing it over my dead body!!!

I want to go skydiving

I want to learn to play the guitar

I want to spend time traveling around Ireland

I want to learn to really speak French

I want to live to have and enjoy my great-grandchildren

I would like to go to Europe

I would like to take some home improvement classes- you know, be a do-it-yourselfer

I would like to be financially able to justify buying into DVC AND taking a trip to Hawaii every year or two too! :p

I would like to volunteer in a crisis pregnancy center type of environment and help young mothers to be get help

Okay - I have my list :)

* Become a mom - whether it's through me becoming well enough to carry a child or through adoption

* Get my blackbelt in kickboxing - like the previous one, it all depends on me getting better but I so want it

* Become a good enough artist to actually be able to sell my artwork - (AND have people WANT to buy it ;) )

* Own a serious sports car - and I mean a serious one! I feel the need for speed! Or at least have the opportunity to drive a race car around a track for a bit at top speeds (even though I'm not a race fan - go figure)

* Know that in my life I have made a difference to people that mean the world to me and that my life was not void of meaning

Holy smokes Poly that's quite a list,

Hopefully when I'm lying on my death bed I'll have done everything "No regrets".

But I like Poly's list

Wow, this is hard. I may have to make an entire list on my website like WDW Poly Princess did! But anyway, here's the first 5 things I thought of:

1. Get Married

2. Have children (hopefully 2 or 3, but it still only counts as one thing;))

3. Win a trial as an attorney...not just some mock trial in school, but a real trial when I'm a real attorney.

4. Travel outside of the United States, because I'll feel really pathetic and ignorant if I never do!

5. Lead someone to Christ...not just inviting someone to church or influencing people to start thinking about God, but actually praying with someone for God to come into their life. I guess this is my version of "making a difference in someone's life," because for me, that is the biggest difference I could possibly make.

well one down ;) I know you mean to the world to people here :)

I created a list of ten things I wanted to do in my lifetime when I was 15 years old...and I still have it. Interestingly, I consider the goals I had at 15 to still be true and valid for me at age 34.

1) Graduate from College (did that)

2) Go to Africa, specifically Tanzania and learn Swahili (not yet but still would like to)

3) Find my soul mate (did that)

4) Go sky diving (not yet)

5) Hang glide (not yet)

6) Bungie Jump (did that last week!)

7) Travel a lot (have done that, but there's always more to see and do)

8) Write a book (currently doing that)

9) Make a difference in the world (hopefully I have and will)

10) Live in good health (well, not as good as I hoped)

My ultimate dream...To visit all the Disney parks! Tokyo and Paris!

Hmmm...I don't know what my other 4 are? I'll get back on you on this one!

I wanted to go to DL ( Did so in Sept'02)

Wanted to have children of my own (Did so in '88 & '89)

Would love to see my two married

Have Grandchildren

Can't think of a 5th thing

ok. I like Polys' list too!

1. Meet Johnny Depp...ok..how about Orlando..either one is fine with me!;)

2. Travel to Ireland

3. Win the lottery..just enough to keep us comfortable.

4. Live a long healthy life to see my children get through college, and kids.

5. Enjoy everyday as if it were my last.

These are really interesting....

1 become a parent whether by natural means or adoption
2 lose weight and lead a more healthy and active lifestyle
3 see London and visit the rest of the relatives that I've yet to meet
4 see grizzly bears in their natural habitat
5 visit Disneyland Paris and/or Tokyo (Disney had to make it in there somehow... ::MickeyMo )

Okay here goes:-

Finish my University Course

Learn to play the piano

Meet someone who loves me for me

Travel the world

Learn to speak Russian

1) I want to see Europe (and Disneyland Paris while I'm there)

2) I want to see Asia (and DisneySea/Tokyo Disney while I'm there)

3) I want to retire early (like in my mid fifties)

4) I want to always be growing closer to God, and never forget to be thankful for everything that I have

5) I want to never forget to stop and appreciate the little things along the way (even when visiting Disney). Sometimes I am in such a rush. The world is an awesome place. I don't want to die and have missed half of the wonders that were right before my very eyes.

I'm sure he is pleased that you said this!

Edited to add I have no list of my own. Although Polys would be a start! I want to do everything!
