hi everyone- looking at booking a trip for my dad and myself next year, it's her 16th and my 40th, so we want to celebrate! Looking at a feb 5 night from Miami on the magic or 3 night on the dream in October from port can. with a day at Epcot before (food and wine fest).. What do you think?? Right now I'm leaning towards the 5 night as we have been to WDW many times but haven't cruised in about 8 years..
How it is getting from ft lauderdale to Miami via shuttle?
Thanks!

More nights for sure. We did a 3 night on the Dream in March. It was incredible, but we needed more time to experience everything!!!

I'm voting for the 5 nights!! There is no shuttle by Disney. Do a forum search (shuttle Ft. Lauderdale - MIA port) - I followed this about a year ago, and there was lots of good information.

We just booked a back to back on the Magic out of Miami for January 2017, 5 nights and 5 nights with different ports. We love the Magic. 5 is better than 3...

We've done 7 and 9 nights and are trying a 4 night in January. For us, we live in Colorado, there is always the hassle of a flight to get on the boat and so 3 nights doesn't seem like enough of a ROI. I've never been on the Dream, but I love the Magic and have sailed her 3 of the 4 DCL trips.

I booked the 5 night!!! Actually it's on hold now, will pay deposit tomorrow.. Ocean view deck 2. Now to find friends to meet on the same cruise!

We did the 5 Night Magic in January as our first cruise and it was so sad to get off the boat. I think 3 will feel REALLY short. The Magic is WONDERFUL!
