Same question - I would like to add on Gold, but not if you can't do the 7 for 5.

Alright I talked to AAA already and they cannot book pacakages until tomorrow, BUT you can still get the AAA discount WITH the 7 days for 5 days package. You would just pay the price that you would pay for 5 days at AAA. GREAT deal. Also, if you price the difference for value resorts b/w the 7 for 5 with the Dream Maker package, and then price 7 nights with Park Hopper passes for 7 days, the price difference increases with the expense of your resort. Like the least price difference will be found at the value resorts, and the greatest price difference will be found at the deluxe resorts.

I currently have a package reserved at POFQ for 6 nights with the Dreammaker Basic package. I am really hoping that I can get the 7 for 5 deal AND still get my AAA discount. That would be awesome. My AAA agent has to modify it for me though. I hope she's able to get this deal for us. -- I will hopefully report back with REALLY good news tomorrow! I hope that I will be able to sleep tonight, I'm very anxious about this. I feel like I have very little control over this.

Do they only offer a certain number of rooms with this deal like they do with AAA, Entertainment, & AP? If so, has anyone heard about anything filling up yet? We have our ressie 'on hold' and if we change our minds I can post the day and time I'm going to call so maybe someone can snatch it up

SruAlmn I was wondering the same thing! We were worried since this is our honeymoon trip so we just reserved the rooms with AAA. Both AAA and Disney will reserve them and hold them without a deposit for at least 10 days, so we just snatched that up and are going to put a deposit down before that is up (Still deciding on hotel but wanted a security blanket!) If your worried try just having a room put on hold for you while you decide.

Can someone helo me to understand how you can book the 7 for 5 deal WITH an AAA discount??? I thought you cannot combine any offers together?

I booked thru the Disney website for the 7 for 5 deal, so how can I get the AAA discount also? Do you have to go through AAA or can yo ualso go thru disney? How much is the discount. I am staying at the CR in Oct and would love to know what the price would be with bothe discounts.

Can anyone help me?

I just emailed an AAA rep that i have been in contact with. When she responds back to me I will let you know what she says. I actually have the 7 for 5 deal booked through Disney. But I can cancel it without penalty if I do it quickly. I am not a AAA member as of yet but if I can get a good deal I will become one real soon. I too thought that you couldnt combine any other discounts with eachother. This would be great if that was the case. I wonder how much of a difference it really is.

But I did ask WDWTC about adding the AAA to the 7 for 5 package and she did tell me that NO I couldnt do that only with room reservations. SO maybe to get this we would have to go thru AAA directly. I hope to find out soon

I highly doubt that a AAA discount will be allowed with this package as history shows that other discounts do not apply(i.e. AAA discount for AP room rates, etc)

Hrm, I have to say Im confused. My package is reserved through AAA and I am recieving the 7 for 5 with the AAA discount. Just an FYI for everyone but we are getting both discounts. I was very specific in asking about that and was quoted 7 nights at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, savannah view for 2155, thats the Dream Maker Package and included tax and AAA discount. Its booked through them and when I was reserving it another couple was there and they actually bought theirs on the spot and got the discount of AAA and the 7 for 5, I just have to put a deposit down on ours now.

Was that not allowed in the past? Maybe if you book through Disney they do not allow it but we did it through AAA so it worked that way.

Lol I guess we did get lucky! I have been looking around these boards and am noticing that most AAA members have not been able to combine theirs! Thankfully we were able to so Im doing a happy dance right now! Its saving us $195!

That's wonderful!! Every dollar saved is worth trying for. Last summer with the FTP, our AAA office tried to get the extra discount for us, but was told only one discount could be applied. I really appreciated her effort in trying, though. Our AAA in Mississippi really works hard to find the best deals and they seem to know their stuff when it comes to Disney.

I had no luck with my local AAA office so I called the 800 number for AAA Mid Atlantic. The lady (Roseanne) was SOO nice, she put me on hold and came back and said that she could combine the two- but there was no availability for my dates and my resort (Pop). I had already had a reservation on a courtesy hold, though, so YIPPIE!! I gave her my information and she put me on hold again while she checked if they would transfer the reservation over to her. Here I sat, in my office, dreaming about what I would do and where I would go with that extra $160. A special dinner, maybe a day in Sea World, some additional souveniers, the boyfriend not being so annoyed that it's costing so much ...I was so excited! Then Roseanne came back on the line and said she was very sorry, but she had misunderstood, and they aren't allowing the combination of the package with the AAA. What they had meant was that you could still get the AAA incentives if you book through them, but not the discount. BOOHOOO.....I'm so sad now. So now I'm wondering...
