5 days in the park

I am going to purchase the 5 day for the price of 2 day tickets. Regardless of whether we go 5 days, I believe that these tickets are the best deal. However, is there plenty to do for 5 days? Are the tickets transferrable? I know they expire within X number of days of the first use. But could we use them for 2 days and then give to my brother to use for the other 3 days, all within 5 days? We are okay without going together, as we usually vacation together but don't do the parks together.
Thanks

Not five full days, unless you really take your time. However, five partial days or three or four full days would be a luxury you would really enjoy.

Many people do each park in a day. Some even try to fit both parks in one day. What a shame.

Neither IOA nor US are set up like your local Six Flags. They are theme parks and if you rush through jumping from major attraction to major attraction, you will not be able to soak in the theme and will miss the little things that make these parks exceptional.

I have never used the five-day pass, but I am certain they are not transferable. Not sure if they request ID or not when you enter.

We were just there and had the 5 day tickets and did not have to show ID. I am sure you could use them for 3 days and give them to your brother for the other 2, you just could not both use them for the same day cause they did check our hand stamps when we switched parks.

You can do each park in a day and then for the 3rd do the things you really enjoyed again. That is what we do. I think if you go 4 or 5 days you will be bored.

On the sharing tickets issue -- I've seen them checking IDs and signatures on the 5 day tickets so your brother may have a problem if he tries to use your tickets. Just a heads up!

My mom was with us last year and had to sign a sheet to verify her signature against 5-day pass almost every time we entered one of the parks.

I have used the five day passes and have been asked to "sign in" upon entering the park. They then check that signature against the signature on the back of the ticket. Won't work unless they can forge your signature.

So now I am wondering when someone mentioned that we would be bored with 5 days at Universal...My husband and myself bought the 5 day tickets and now I am thinking that perhaps this might not of been the best thing since most people that visit Universal do both parks in two days. Will there be enough for us to enjoy for 5 days? We are not staying on site but at the Homewood Suites and do plan on also doing Seaworld for a day. I would like opinions please..thank you

We always stay at least five days and that's with staying on site. We are NEVER BORED. You can take your time and really soak in all the atmosphere of the parks. You can also take afternoon breaks and enjoy the pool at your hotel (just get your hand stamped so you can return to the parks). I doubt very much that you'll be bored.

Having the luxury of five days means you can change your touring style. Sleep in and come to the parks just for the shows and a great, leisurely meal at Mythos one day. Then another day, you can come dressed for the water rides and do Popeye and Bluto over and over and over and over.

There is so much to enjoy and apprec iate in the parks that people who only have a day for each never see. It's a "stop and smell the roses" kind of thing.

We did that Memorial Day. Six times! Talk about bilge rats...

We did the five days with myself , Dh and 18 dd, 13ds,11dd, 7ds, we were bored after 2 days. We won't be going to Universal for awhile. But that is just our opinion, Some people enjoy it.

We bought the 5 day pass as well. We are going to go for a couple of hours Friday night just to get "the lay of the land". We will come back early Sat and try to do US thoroughly. We will sleep in Sunday and Monday and go to IOA those days. On Tuesday we will go and redo our faves till about 3pm and then it will be time to go back to the airport. I think if you only have 2 days it would be too much of a rush. We'll see, I'm hoping we won't be bored.

The nice thing about staying onsite is that you don't have to do full days at the park. We never spend more than about 3 hours a day at the park doing rides. We have a very leisurely vacations and do other Orlando things. 5 days is wonderful for a relaxing holiday.

I think that if you tried to go for 12 hours a day for more than 2 days, it would be excessive. That is unnecessary at Universal if you are staying onsite. Even our family couldn't MIB for that long!
