Morning everyone,

We got our documents...mailed to mom's house. And mom got her documents...also mailed to mom's house. Good thing we are traveling together!

So, I'm making cruise shirts for our "party". By making, I mean I am making iron transfers for t shirts. They are lime green and will say "Richard's Cruise". So, that's what we will wear on embarkation day. We will be the ones dressed like clones. But it's a nice tribute to mom's husband.

We will be leaving our house 30 days from today to drive to FL. And...its our ten year anniversary today. Happy anniversary, honey. No exciting plans. We are going on a cruise in a month after all!

You folks will be trail blazing for us DIS addicts. We'll want to hear all about what goes on on a 5 night cruise vs 3 or 4 night so I hope one or more of you will be posting once you return. I in particular am wondering what the entertainment will be vs the shorter cruises. One thing we loved about the longers 7 day cruises is the liver entertainers, especially the comedians. I hope you have some of that on your trip. Good luck!

I will assume out TA has our documents, but is waiting for the info on the land portion of our trip to come in. I booked them separate. It is exciting to hear everything is falling into place. Was out FE shopping again !! Still have the teens to work on...

So if we booked through a TA/3rd party our docs go to them first?? That would explain why Im waiting on mine. I have officially joined the madness and started packing....misc. stuff at this point. We are in FL so we are already wearing our summer clothes so cant pack them. I bought my dress for "formal night" today...lil black dress type. Ladies if you are still needing a dress...I got mine at Burlington for dirt cheap. Just fyi. Printed magnets today...need more ink Just over a month now....

I looked over the most updated FE list and did alittle math, you may want to check for yourselves, but for those who are buying for individuals I got

17 women
10 men
5 "young men" aged 13-16 (this group is the hardest for me to pick something for, I think I'll try Spencers)
1 young lady (10)
1 little lady (4)
5 little guys aged 3-8

If anyone wants to give a hint on their kids Disney "likes" that would be great !!

So, when there are several same gender kids in a cabin of different ages, how will the FE delivery personnel (read that as me and John!) know which names on the FE goes with which age? Sorry if I'm being blank here, but unless the names are on the distribution list, I can't see how to determine it. And horrors, what if we put a 7yr old's gift in a 15yr old's pocket?!!

We got our cruise documents a couple of days ago. SO excited. 29 days from today and we'll be in WDW.

We also got our documents on Monday and are just waiting for our luggage tags for our 5 days at POP before the cruise. JC pennys had a good sale on luggage while we were there yesterday so decided to replace one of our older ones. It was a Samsonite piece for 1/2 price if anyone is looking to get some. We are taking two suitcases each (glad we fly Southwest)and two carry ons as well. Going to try and pack seperatly for the land stay and then one for the cruise. I have not Disney cruised in the last few years but am wondering if there is still a small refrigerator in each room?

Being stuck at home with a sick kiddo has its advantages! I just met the letter carrier at my mailbox and received my cruise doc's!! Yay! I'm also working on printing door magnets, making door hangers, and making my FE gifts. While strep throat is no fun for DS8, it's been very productive for me.

We have rain and snow here in Colorado...YUCK! This weather makes it hard to prepare for the cruise. I'm having trouble thinking about shorts when I can't even wear them yet!

Still haven't received our cruise documents yet. What do they send anyway? I thought everything was done online?? I just can't remember how this whole process works and we were just there a year ago!

Wow, that is "YUCK"!!!

Mostly, the packet just includes your luggage tags. If you don't receive them in tomorrow's mail, maybe you should give DCL a call just to follow-up.

Yeah, It's usually us here in western NY area that get the snow in April. Fortunately it's going to be 75 tomorrow! Wish I didn't have to work!

We decorated our Tshirts for Pirate Night and we just went to fold them and the fabric paint all pealed off the iron on transfer part. Ok, now we are going to try glitter glue as they were just so darn cute!

Oh, and as a newbie, feeling a bit intimidated that everyone it making FE's...maybe I shouldn't put a name on mine.....

Don't worry, I'm not making mine. Unfortunately, I'm not too good at making stuff so I bought my gifts online! They were delivered today!!

ALSo, for our first Disney cruise years ago, I made everyone matching t-shirts. I used the glitter glue and they came out gorgeous. I still have mine and the glitter glue is still intact-after all these years!

Don't feel intimidated that people are making their Fe's. Mine is going to be super generic. I do not have the time or energy to be fancy. Our neighborhood is having a garage sale next Saturday (8th), I haven't even started pulling stuff out of closets yet. I work the next 2 days (basically an 11&1/2 hr day w/ travel), DS has a makeup baseball game sunday evening, after church , swimming lessons and hopefully a trip to Home Depot for a new grill. We have a Boy Scouts trip to a police station tues evening. I work again Wednesday then a ball game that evening. I can never count on DH to get DS to his appointments. events. He is supposed to be off work at 430, it is almost 6 and he is still not home...the life of a computer engineer, when it breaks you stay till it's fixed !!
I'll have to wait till after the garage sale to make FE and finish up gifts.
BTW: our FE will have 2 pockets, one for DH (Eric) & myself (Michele) and one for DS (Trevor , age 7)
